  1. https://www.timesunion.com/news/amp/Saratoga-Springs-police-horses-get-face-shields-15440180.php Please stay 6 feet away from the horses and don’t scream in their faces.
  2. If TBD had a “Suggestion Box”, I would write: Please add a “drool” emoji.
  3. Is this the right place to discuss Jennifer Anniston’s Hall of Fame bust?
  4. I think we’ll stay in VA Friday night (although I don’t feel safe in that state)
  5. Looks good. Tell your wife she gets the other half backsplash for next year's anniversary.
  6. Just purchased three tix to Bristol Night Race (Bass Pro) on September 19th. Why am I kind of excited? Weird. Anyway, I bought insurance on each ticket ($9/ticket) even though the terms and conditions said "COVID 19 cancellation or closure to fans is not a valid claim"....only if I am suffering from COVID (illness) will I get refund. Sounds like a scam but I bought the insurance anyway in case of a car breakdown on the way down, etc. I figure since I am just starting out I'd pick a young unknown driver a few months ago so I've been following John Hunter Nemechek (#38 car). Now to find hotel reservations within 30 miles of Bristol.
  7. That’s the problem with Twitter. Any twit can interpret “quarantine” as meaning headache, cough, paralysis, fever or death. For all we know he is asymptomatic. If so, is he “sick”?
  8. Are you following a particular driver/team?
  9. How many will what? Die? or test positive?
  10. I can't make it to Home Depot this week...I'm watching the "death ticker" on CNN and have $100 on the overs for elderly, diabetics and children learning shapes and colors. (I figured I'd draft your response for you because this is how emotionally charged, uber intelligent folks view anyone who might see things differently)
  11. My wife as well.
  12. @Seasons1992 OUCH!!!
  13. Thanks for the advice. So ear plugs are a must? Do you prefer sitting along the curves or the long stretches? I didn't realize that...add the standard transmission and there's a lot of ***** going on in the car.
  14. The point (again) is let's see how these 14 players fare with the virus. Will they recover from the symptoms quickly? Will they feel no symptoms at all? Will they require hospitalization? Again, 14 positive cases is just that...positive cases. At some point, the phrase "positive case" has been modified to mean "death sentence, morgues, tractor trailer coolers for dead bodies, lung scarring, fetus death".
  15. Sorry to hear about your Mom and relatives. Not sure how you interpreted what I said into me thinking COVID is a hoax. But 14 players test positive and someone upthread inferred these athletes and support staff will have permanent lung scarring. Shouldn't we wait to see if any are hospitalized (or get headaches, rapid heart beat, etc.) before sounding the alarm on sports?
  16. You just hit the nail on the head. Positive cases does not equate to hospitalization/death/lung scarring/runny nose/headache/or any other manifestation of the virus thrown out there.
  17. @Seasons1992 Do you think there is a preferred spot to sit at the track? I was looking at tix in the final curve before the finish line. Up high or down low?
  18. I realize the racing season is already in full swing. Planning on attending a race in Sept or October. Either Bristol Speedway in TN, Martinsville in VA or Charlotte Speedway in October. I am a "newbie" to NASCAR but from what I've seen in the past few months, there's quite a bit of strategy involved. These guys are in great shape (not sure I call them athletes) but their heart rate goes up to 150 during races, endurance is a must, and there's quite a bit of physics involved. Still learning. Anyway, despite the whole incident with the rope and the belief that only rednecks/ racists enjoy NASCAR, do any of you guys follow the sport? I assume there are many who enjoy it on TV but don't want to attend a race. I figure it's something I should do just to experience the environment and watch the cars in real life (going 190mph +) Any favorite drivers? Favorite owners? Anything I should look for when I go? Go Bills!
  19. TBD....your “One Stop Shop” for: * DWI Defense * Race Relations * Pandemics * Babe advice
  20. Basketball (9-10) Soccer (9-12) Tennis (9-12)

  22. Personally, I always look to sell the roof over my head when I’m unstable. But that’s just me.
  23. Is "comma abuse" a topic that belongs in this thread?
  24. Had we drafted Russ Wilson we would have missed out on the acrobatic catches of TJ Graham (the only WR I’ve ever seen jump three feet in the air to attempt catching a ball thrown at his shins).
  25. Remind me not to have you draft my team when I own the Buffalo Grain Mills (post name change)
