Capitol One The Match (Allen Tattoo)

I’m pretty sure Josh will run right over and sign your calf at the turn. He won’t be too busy. Hang out near the port-o-potty. -

https://www.whiskeyriff.com/2022/05/23/group-of-cyclists-come-face-to-face-with-grizzly-bear-at-glacier-national-park/ Watch the video. Anyone hoping the Grizz took a sharp left and approached the biker yelling “Go away Bear!!”? @Chef Jim??

Did someone prod that bear to wake him up? There’s a rule I once heard: Don’t prod the bear.

Hold on one cotton pickin minute. SDS came up with the idea. I’m trying to wrap my head around how this works from an English major POV. Good luck helping me.

I'm interested. I'll try and revisit my math (above) after a few drinks tonight.

I guess we can start with a hypothetical: TBD arranges for a group of tickets (let's say 6) First question is where - end zone, sidelines, clubs. Next, who is the designated "local person in the Buffalo to Syracuse" area (because I found out this year they won't sell to me in the Albany area) Then, what is the PSL for each ticket (let's say $4,000 per seat). 4 x 6 = $24,000 in PSL fees. Then, what is cost of each seat per game. Let's say $250 per seat x 6 = $1500 per game $1500 x 8 or 9 games = $13,500 per year for 6 tix If you had a group of 20 people that could commit to attending games, you could calculate what each person would owe based on per seat/game cost (13,500 / 20 people = $675 per person). Man, I suck at math...I'm already lost.

Yes. Agreed. I invited someone with better tech knowledge than me to do it at the outset but no takers. I wrote down the correct pick/position order on a small paper and literally held it up to each of the responses over the 11 pages or so and found the winner. Yes, a spreadsheet would work great. Not sure I can ask for $5 per entry as the line between "gambling" and fun is pretty thin from my experience. We'll figure it out this coming year. (SIDENOTE: It's interesting that a guy who won $40 this past weekend on a "draft contest" now wants to bet money on it again. #greed)

Kentucky > Army Corps of Engineers: Bye bye Carp!
BringBackFergy replied to BringBackFergy's topic in Off the Wall
Thank you for posting this update. Here's the a quote from the article: "The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says that in the parasitic phase of its life, the average sea lamprey will kill up to 40 pounds of fish. This information is based upon a study made by the US Army Corps of Engineers from the 1970's. It is well documented, that the Army Corps of Engineers designed locks to allowed sea lampreys to wiggle through lock chambers and infest the once pristine Great Lakes. A member of the Army Corps, however, issued a sworn affidavit that such documents were lost in a fuel fire during a near by tractor accident in a protected swamp. This member of the Corps (who wished to remain nameless, condition of anonymity) was unable to be interviewed by this author as he was busy with a Wordle puzzle." -
@Brian3488 is our WINNER!!! He guessed four correct player positions at the correct slot. It was a tie with @Kmart128 and @MiltonWaddams who also had four correct picks. But Brian had the "white suit" so he wins the prize. Brian - go to the original post and select a hat from the link to the Bills store ($50 or under) and message me the link via private message up top. Include your name and address and I'll get it mailed to you. Another member wanted to make a gift to the charity of your choice so I'll tag him in the next post. Congrats everyone! Great job. Go Bills!! Fergy @Brian3488 - @Fan in Chicagohas graciously offered a $25 gift to the charity of your choice. He'll contact you via message. Thanks Chicago!! Fergy
