  1. Even Lou Piccone...amazing video. The deflected/tipped pass into Butler's hands for a TD at the 7 minute mark...I'll always remember that.
  2. Dante - It sounds like you want to start a "fleet" of trucks (i.e. as your business grows you plan on buying more trucks). With that in mind, I'd buy the trucks. Just my opinion but here's why: 1) When you buy a $20,000 truck, your accountant will depreciate that truck over the course of 10 years or so. As you accumulate more trucks, you will continue to depreciate each of those vehicles over the course of years (some years you'll see more of a depreciation deduction than other years). 2) If you sell your business, you'll have assets that you own (as opposed to leased vehicles that carry no value because they have to be returned). That gives you a better value having a fleet of trucks. 3) Insurance might be costlier with a fleet of leased vehicles (as opposed to owned vehicles). 4) You may want to create a separate LLC for the truck fleet ("Dante's Transport and Trucking LLC") separate from your business LLC. Then your business can rent the use of the trucks from the trucking LLC. Can't do that if they are leased . 5) If you have a really good year and want to buy a truck outright, you can expense the truck cost in that one year (Section 179 deduction...so if you make $100,000 and you don't want to pay taxes on $100,000, you can buy a truck for $20,000 and now you show $80,000 as income). You won't get to depreciate the truck over years (because you expensed it all in one year) but it will save you a bigger tax bill. Hope that makes sense. Anyway, those are my quick thoughts (and I'm not an accountant).
  3. Thank you for not shattering my dreams Dr....there is hope.
  4. So you're saying that Jim Kelly's teams were not based on running game or strong defense? So he meets the definition of "franchise"? I disagree with that definition of "franchise". A "franchise" QB is one who the team relies on to deliver leadership, athleticism and consistent performance on the field, an integral part of the success of the team and one who can't be replaced on a year to year basis. Especially at the QB position. Ferguson was a franchise QB in that the other members of the team (Cribbs, Butler, Lewis, etc) relied on his intellect and dedication to the game (he was rarely out with injury). One can argue that Ferguson's defense was less impressive than our D in the 90's. Cribbs played well but he was no Thurman Thomas. I think Ferguson is a franchise QB (but not of the same degree as Kelly)
  5. Depends on your definition of "franchise QB"...if "franchise" is defined as taking you to the Superbowl, then yes, I agree. But Kemp took us to Championship games
  6. All you guys that said Fergy was ranked too high can suck it!!!!! The guy threw the ball with precision and had an underrated rocket for an arm. He brought Jerry Butler and Frank Lewis into the limelight . A fierce competitor who took us to the playoffs. He belongs right where he is.
  7. Apparently dib only changes his shirt every three days?

  10. 10,000 posts...let's see if he said anything profound over the past few years: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/172633-caption-if-you-can/?do=findComment&comment=3317855 Congrats!
  11. Aren't Courtyard and Hampton Inn owned by Marriot? I have Hampton Inn "club card" which lets you rack up points for benefits but it's not a credit card.
  12. I've seen a lot of Hampton Inns, Courtyard by Marriot and Fairfield Inns but never heard of "Starwood Hotels". Is this one of those "no tell motels" that sits along a side road in CT that Buffalo Bill frequents? How's the continental breakfast?
  13. We won't work for Tom long...he'll be impeached within the first six months. Then, gatorman will be poisoned by Beerball. There is no Speaker of the House (unless I missed it) which leaves the door open for me to make my move.
  14. I have an itchy trigger finger...the first bomb is set for Colombus, then San Fransisco.
  15. "We got a bleeder!!"
  16. Unless you piss us off...then it's KABOOM with the lot of you.
  17. I would vote for this ticket.
  18. So you're breaking up with me??
  19. That's a great link. Thanks. A lot of attractive offers out there. We've had the same two cards for 15 years (we're not ones who do balance transfers every year) but it certainly looks like we missed out on some nice rewards.
