  5. I didn't even DVR it...
  6. I just don't understand the mentality that our team (who we will bellyache, B word and moan about during the regular season) should go out and give 35% effort because "it's just the preseason". Think about the mental aspect: teams will be intimidated. They will watch and re-watch film to address our strengths. It's still man vs man out there...our guys have to beat their guys. What's wrong with that? Seems to me most of you are already cashing in your chips and going home. The season is just starting and it begins vs. the Colts. 4-0 baby!!!
  7. Wrestling, Soccer, Bicycling, Gymnastics, Track Field...if you have a chance to watch Badminton, do it! Top notch talent.
  8. Any chance the Bills will be on THC? I know The History Channel has a lot of different programming.
  9. Didn't Marrone always say "Don't confuse a visor with a ballcap." ?
  10. I think Mead could give her a pokeman.
  11. Those who wallow in mediocrity will achieve mediocre results. If you set the bar high demanding precision and victory, you will achieve greatness. Others don't see it like you and me. Set the tone now....a dominant, undefeated preseason will send a message.
  12. It's obvious no one wants to see a player injured....myself included. If you think for one second that I want to go 4-0 in the preseason but lose 4 or 5 players to injury in the process, you're mistaken. BUT, going 4-0 in the preseason is the first step to instill success, confidence and brotherhood among our players. Leaving some blood on the turf after a hard fought game. Hitting your opponent into next Tuesday is all part of the game. This is football...not Synchronized Swimming. These players are paid significant dough to leave it all out on the field. Sure Tyrod and Sammy will have some bruises and tweaks...maybe a lineman twists an ankle. These types of minor injuries have to work themselves out. They have to be in "game shape" and that means having the ability to give or take a hit when needed. With that said...4-0 is likely with our team as presently constituted. I know, I know, Marv never won in the preseason....well, given the absence of a Lombardi trophy on our mantel, perhaps we should approach preseason differently this year.
  13. That's all part of it. Our starters against their second string = victory and safety. Go Bills!!
  14. I think we will go 4-0. We have a great defense and just look at our opponents: Colts? Andrew Luck is not the QB he once was three years ago. He is over the hill and can barely throw the ball past the LOS Giants? Manning is still young but his defense is suspect...not to mention his WR corpse. Redskins? Please...stop the madness. They can't fight their way out of a wet dishrag. Lions? This is our annual Bills vs. Sweet Home JV game...put it in the win column now. Going 4-0 in the presaeason is very important. Instilling a winning mentality in this team is crucial. I hope to see Tyrod and Sammy light it up for 8 TD's in the preseason. Thoughts?
  15. "Mean" refers to the effect on my gastrointestinal tract 8 hrs post-consumption.
  16. <Private Message to Momma Chef Jim> The duct tape and twine are not for "your safety". He is holding you hostage to cash out your Exxon and 3M shares. Use your fingernails to slowly slice through the twine, release the duct tape muzzle and then dial 9-1-1. I hope you remain safe and unharmed. Yours, etc. Fergy <End Private Message to Momma Chef Jim>
  17. I make a mean Kraft mac and cheese.
  18. Wait...thought you were heading back to go to the Giants game with me?? Ohhh, wait...you don't like football. I forgot.
