  1. Great thread guys. Z. Brown is turning in to a role player. Really nice to see this in our linebacker group.
  2. Beautiful
  3. Sadly, this will become the norm.
  4. Nice "insider" opinion. Good to have someone who actually knows this team. Hoping Rex and company have a solid plan.
  5. Not over analyzing anything. Also not looking at this negatively at all. Maybe I'm the only one who listened to him repeat this same comment three times ("They were missing a player and we brought our team" or something like that). He used the exact same words three times and it was a message to the national media ("We have a team that doesn't rely on any one person") Sorry you feel this way...this thread was not meant to denigrate or criticize Rex...in fact, it was complimentary.
  6. It's not often I get complimented on my insight...thanks for the thank you.
  7. Great topic Cuga - I did a thesis project on Hitchcock, so "Psycho" is just an amazing film from a director's standpoint, cinematography and plot. Edge of your seat (did you know the blood in the shower was really chocolate sauce?) Honorable mention: Exorcist The Shining
  8. But according to the "experts", the Pats could win with a jugs machine in the backfield....It's BB's system that allows for wins. So, in the end, even though everyone picked the Pats to win, they still have the "No Tom Brady" excuse to fall back on. Buffalo won as a team (without players deemed essential for success) and that's what Rex was getting at (IMO)
  9. I guess the point of this thread is that Rex made a pretty important point in a backhanded sort of way. The national media hasn't really picked up on it (i.e. the Pats were down by one player but we brought our "team"). I'd like to see some of the national media take a step back and say "Ohhhhh, I see what he did there"...but they won't.
  10. Yes. And if we run it 2-3 times per game, opponents have to prepare for it, respond to it, align their defense accordingly thinking it is a run. The game at home vs. the Pats may be the perfect time to pass the ball from the wildcat.
  11. Did you guys catch Rex Ryan's press conference where he said this about three times??? The second time he said it he kind of rubbed the side of his nose and smirked. I think the whole game yesterday was a result of Rex telling his players that the loss of Sammy, or Dareus, or Ragland or Shaq...etc. is not an excuse. The team concept is more important than any one part. The national media has been harping on the Patriots and their winning without Tom Brady. I'm pretty sure Rex was saying this repeatedly to reemphasize the fact that no single player makes up the Bills (not Sammy, or Dareus or our draft picks). I do like the notion of the players gelling together as a team and not relying on any one player to achieve success.
  12. He'll impress me by staying focused for the next 3 games. Putting a string of wins together would be impressive. If we lose the next game due to coaching decisions, bad prep, etc. then he is who we thought he was.
  13. Save us LittleJoe...you're our only hope.
  14. Thanks. I was thinking CA ....but AZ counts. San Fran (got killed) Oakland (Marrone almost made 10-6)
  15. Bueller? Bueller?? Does anyone else know when we may have won a west coast game???
  16. I'm seriously trying to figure out the last time we won a west coast game?? Scary. Was it San Diego? Sad that I can't remember this.
  17. Sorry...you're right. My apologies.
  18. Yes...hard hitting team. Greggo transformed Barron from safety to LB (I recall when we were supposedly looking at Barron for the Bills). McDonald hits hard. Fierce DLine. I'm happy we beat the Pats, but this Rams game is gonna be a lot tougher.
  19. So we beat NE's 3rd string QB....yayyyy. The Rams Defense is real...and they have a nice offense. Enter Greggo Williams. Stay humble Buffalo Bills.
  20. Has Vegas put out a prop bet on what injury Justin Hunter will sustain? I'd put $20 on a hamstring, 5 weeks.
  21. Let's hope Tyrod doesn't target Clay this week because he'll be standing on the sidelines.
  22. 6am : Get my daughters dolls out and equip one with a hoodie and the other with a helmet. 7am: Put pins in the shoulder of each doll. Push pins in further. 8am: Turn neck on the hoodie doll as far as I can until I hear it crack. 9am: Take right knee of helmet doll and bend it 90 degrees backwards from tib/fib 10am: Make chicken wing dip and mini hot dogs. Have beer. 11am: Check on dolls and make certain they are still in painful, contorted pose. Add pins to heads.
