I will reserve comment but will say this: our team's success tonight depends on our O Line. If our O Line can protect and pave roads for the RB's, then we have a nice night (limited passing yds). If our O Line plays poorly, we may have more passing yds but lose the game. Sounds foolish but that's how our team plays.
I hate this time of the year when we have to keep asking "Who do we need to win today?". Had we taken care of business against the Jets and Fins we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Well reasoned post. Yes JJ has had some crappy seasons, but he's been given a lot of the same opportunities as the Bills (and now Doug Whaley) and has made the Playoffs.
Well, we have a kickass record against the NFC. Other than that, the Dolphins are abead of us now (with tiebreaker). So unless we beat Seattle, Cinci, Fins and Jets (and Steelers), I'd say we're done.
Hmmmm, it's been about 5 weeks since we started this thread. It's interesting to see how some posters opinions have changed about Dareus (and Sammy alike). This Monday is another instance of no Sammy and no Dareus. I'm wondering if either of these guys are essential to future success and team chemistry.
The comparison originally made is between JJ as GM and Whaley as GM. I understand your position (ie. JJ isn't the only guy selecting players) but as GM, JJ is the winner it appears. Looks like Crippled Creek was saying this as well.
And let me make one thing clear...I like Whaley a whole lot. I want him to stay on. But Jones has received criticism from this board and it appears he is doing a pretty good job given the team he assembled.
This might be their year...the Cowgirls I mean. They have all the pieces in place. Can we say the same for our beloved team?
And why skip over the question about the playoffs? Baby steps brother...baby steps
