Most of my 11000 posts are just a bunch of "this" and "I agree". I didn't see this question raised (about whether our GM thought about paying Tyrod less money) so thanks for clarifying what I originally thought - that we could be in trouble if we don't pay the man. I'm sure Pegula has good attorneys but they shouldn't have been put in this situation.
Last time I checked, a contract is an agreement which includes offer, acceptance, consideration and performance. Although some question Tyrod's performance, he played all year. Consideration was demonstrated between payment of salary and playing QB. I don't think they can change the terms of the contract now. Tyrod could sue for breach of contract I bet.
Not sure I've gotten an answer on this yet: can Whaley re-negotiate Tyrod's contract if the contract already guarantees him $27 million next year? I mean, it's a contract.
They should just have a huge game of dodgeball...Russ, Overdorf, Whaley, Thurmon, assistant coaches, scouts, Gilmore, Dareus, Sammy...last three standing stay with the team. Would love to see Russ get a dodgeball smacked across his face.
Sad. I miss Beerball. Under that rugged exterior was a friendly, caring man who enjoyed good food and socializing with other like minded friends.
Here's one of his last photos when he was interviewed by a news station at the 2016 Brony Convention (aside from his duties as moderator, he was the Chapter President of the Ohio State Brony Society)
Actually, our modern day football is based loosely on cricket in that there are generally four quarters and field position. Cricket began with a leather ball and, if you need further proof, look at the shoulder pads worn by batsmen.
60 overs on the second length is no great accomplishment TRBJ. Think back to 1998...the Brisbane tourney was over before it started for the Aussie cottagers. You have a team that can't even complete a full branch without an over 20. Lol. Your team is like a Rex Ryan defense. Uhhhh, I think the question is: who DOESN'T understand cricket? You might be the only one. But keep in mind, cricket was the inspiration for our modern day football. Great sport.
He is an absolute piece of garbage. Show me one INT where he challenged a WR and stripped it out or fought for the ball. Not. Every INT of his was thrown right to him. His half assed tackles where he lowers his shoulder and the TE jumps over him or the WR bounces off him and runs upfield for another 15 yds. ****ty tackling, indecisive, meek, quiet, non-leader. Blah. See ya!!
I saw Mead, CountryCletus, Mrs. CountryCletus, Boyst, Boyst's lady friend, Hammer, Rockpile, Mead's buddy Paul, me, Pinto, and some guy giving us the finger as he walked by on the sidewalk.
