  1. . Look forward to this game tonight.
  2. So we get a player who needs to learn how to rush the passer as a first rounder?? Nice job Whaley
  3. You know me too well...stalker!!! And I'll say it again...how many of these "hot" coordinators you are touting will be calling their own plays as HC? Zero...that's why they assemble an experienced coaching staff. We need a HC who can demonstrate leadership, is shown respect and can relate to/ teach a young QB. Nothing wrong with that.
  4. The whole Doug Whaley press conference was about "we'll discuss the levels of management and reporting between coach, GM and owner in our search process". Well, Reich might have a different idea of how willing he is to report to the GM compared to McDermott. There are a slew of variables to consider. I guess I'd over-interview just to make sure (rather than hire just to keep up with the Joneses...Jags)
  5. So we've interviewed 4 or 5 guys for Head Coach....that doesn't seem right. As a billionaire, Pegula (and Whaley) should be interviewing 20-30 guys. No stone unturned. At least show families that spend $3000-$6000 on season tix that you are doing due diligence. I understand there are no guarantees in life, but after 17 years, I would hope we would hit on one of these slugs....errrrr....I mean pieces of crap.....errrrrr....I mean a coach who can actually lead players and groom a franchise QB.
  6. Dear Diary - Well, there ya have it...I am the first (meaning the most sought after) coach this year. Okay? Obviously I'll have more time on my hands now so I'm going to start putting in snapshots of my times in Jax. Here's my latest pic so that I can look back and remember what I did on my first day as Head Coach Douglas Marrone. Good times!! Yours, DM
  7. jw - great work. Thanks I know there were some Tweets that the Bills were going to interview Frank Reich (with McDermott, Lynn, etc)...but haven't seen anything scheduled for him. Did Pegula/Whaley decide against Reich?
  8. Ummm, no. That's a microchip inserter. He's downloading 17 years of failure for future reference.
  9. I think Whaley is making trips to Carolina, Jacksonville and Seattle because those are three cities where he can buy shot glasses in the airport store to round out his collection. He's still missing Anchorage and "The Grand Canyon"
  10. Healthy Sammy and un-suspended Dareus???? LOL. Good one.
  11. Whaley is clueless. I'm with you on that.
  12. Let's go A-Aron Did you guys know we could have had Aaron Rogers if we didn't draft (insert name)
  13. Happy Birthday Beerball...wherever you are.
  14. Meanwhile, Sullivan and Carucci are still trying to figure out what Whaley meant by saying "I had oatmeal for breakfast this morning"
  15. I told my son the same thing last night...why do we have ROR out there for 3 on 3? The power play I understand, but 3 on 3 hockey is all skating....this kind of thing bugs the **** outta me when it comes to Buffalo sports. So typical.
  16. The fact that Chef Jim went to the home opener (and will go again this year) leads me to believe he married up, is a kept man, and this thread is a bunch of bull **** because the only calls he gets are from his butcher when his cappicola is adequately aged.
  17. I'm of the opinion that the HC (in this case Reich) will hire "like minded" coordinators and staff. Once you have a coaching staff that is prepared and sharp, the players will follow suit. Marv was interviewed the other day and he said there are four keys to a successful coaching staff (starting with the head coach): 1) Preparation 2) Be a straight shooter 3) Draft high character players 4) Have a good relationship with players, front office and coaches I tend to agree with him on all four. We don't need any Adam Pac Man Jones' on our team and we should start a new team culture: smart players who want to win, who want to perform to their best ability and the coach is where this all starts.
  18. Sounds more like what we witnessed with Rex. By all accounts, Marv was a "nice" guy...but he knew his ****. He was well respected.
