  1. If he wins NFL Comeback Player of the Year you’ll remember this day.
  2. All we need now is Dijon Robinson and couple more RB prospects in rounds 4-6. Can always use more RB’s
  3. Pretty sure Alexander Hamilton is more deserving of Rushmore status than Grover Cleveland.
  4. I believe Fillmore grew up in East Aurora and had something to do with inventing chicken wings or hospitals. Good call.
  5. I'd go with Roosevelt, Lincoln, Washington and Jefferson Honorable mention to Ben Franklin and Dewey
  6. I’m at a point where I’ve lost faith in some members of this board. Basically, some of you are saying he can’t be a broadcaster or an analyst because he doesn’t speak as well as, say, Bob Costas or Brent Gumble. https://www.lines.com/nfl/players/lamar-jackson-19781#:~:text=Lamar Jackson earned a degree,in Madden 20 video game. Lamar studied communications!!! He can improve. And he wouldn’t be the main host, he’d be as good as any of the blonde dolts on the sidelines who talk about nonsensical crap during a broadcast. Did you ever hear Tony Siragusa on the sidelines? How about Michael Irvin in studio? Don’t ever say Lamar can’t do it. The main point of this thread is to demonstrate Lamar could make just as much money over 10 years broadcasting with a network as he will make playing 6 or 7 as QB…and his head/knees will remain in tact.
  7. Last time I checked, America is the land of opportunity. Also, did you know Lamar has a college degree? Majored in communications. He obviously knew he might one day want to try broadcasting. Nothing wrong with taking that shot now while he’s one of the stars of the league.
  8. He has lived in the heads of most talk show hosts for the last 6 months. He would be a huge ratings draw for any network broadcasting NFL games. Even at $10 million per year x 10 years in the booth or sidelines, he’s way ahead financially than playing 5 more years and retiring with a broken body. Not out of the realm of possibilities.
  9. What if he said “I retire”?
  10. Think about it - He’s been shopping his wares but it seems the NFL GM’s know either he is injury prone or all the teams have a QB1 in mind. Lamar has to know this and he gave it a good shot. So I’m wondering if he’s considering a broadcasting/communications sabbatical to let his body heal. He’s an NFL MVP, playoff QB with several accolades. He could provide some sound in-depth analysis on FOX or CBS. Even Amazon. Not play by play, but maybe on field commentary or halftime, booth analysis or in studio. He would get signed to a 3 yr / $60 million broadcasting contract in a heartbeat. He’s young enough to heal up while doing game analysis and then re-enter the NFL and fund his retirement. Just a thought.
  11. Edmunds was a hard hitting player for the Bills and hit with such force he single handedly caused more concussions to players than any other LB…unfortunately, the injuries he caused were to his fellow teammates. #thirdmaninontackles
  12. So you were the kid that wanted the Atari console AND the Lite Brite from Santa. Be happy with a pair of socks and a pack of Gatorgum.
  13. Buscaglia is best known for: 1) Describing a player as "good", "great", "elite" or "bad" 2) He reads other professionals work and steals their terminology "shifty hips", "lateral speed", etc. 3) He has been anointed a draft guru by local radio personalities...he takes the top 10 mock drafts, shakes them up a bit and regurgitates as his own. Not a big fan.
  14. Yolo is the Matt Milano of this board. Solid, quick and effective. Miss you.
  15. Now there's some in-depth analysis.
  16. Juicing up in the off season. Nice.
  17. Maybe Joe is moving some money around??
  18. That's what I'm wondering...even if it was Mixon (we don't know that yet), what precipitated the shots?
  19. Reported on Boomer and Gio. Updates to follow. https://nypost.com/2023/03/07/cincinnati-bengal-joe-mixons-house-cordoned-off-by-police/amp/
  20. If it was top end of 2nd, best G/Center and then use some of the draft capital to move back up and grab best (fast) WR available.
