  1. Once again - think of Randy Moss (30 for 30: Rand U) He was high during high school and college games. Why not the NFL?
  2. That's helpful. Do you think guys who smoke the more invigorating brands have a "leg up" over guys that just drink Gatorade? (Think Randy Moss in "Rand U")
  3. Who says it's not a game thing? Is there a "pot-a-lyzer" device that screens the players each game? I would wager 25% of players are high on game day.
  4. Use your half-baked brain. Honest question. Marijuana slows your reaction time...why use it in an ultra-reactive sport? So when you make $600,000 per game, you feel stressed out and need something to take the edge off? Got it.
  5. 2015 was only two years ago Chef.
  6. ...why do NFL guys smoke it? Are they that stressed out? Don't they want to be more upbeat and on edge as a player? I haven't smoked it (more of a beer guy), but the effects of pot (from what others have said) is contrary to what NFL players should be looking for in terms of their approach to the game (relaxed vs detail oriented). Am I wrong?
  7. Dayum...looks like Edelman may have mussed up Gilly's hair.
  8. These guys are from a small town in VT (just over the border from me). I know the drummer's Dad and have heard them play many times. Not my favorite type of music but these guys are pretty talented. https://youtu.be/HA3ukIAPfDk
  9. But you'll miss all the draw plays. 😄
  10. Typical. I'm gonna let him stay there and wash dishes.
  11. Shoot, I even responded. Smh
  12. Gugny sent me a telegram at work and it reads: "Fergy (stop) Tied up in brothel at 42nd and 5th (stop) Need help (stop) Send help quick (stop) Gugny" Not sure what to make of it.
  13. Yep. That one seriously made me question my membership here (Post #2)....then I remembered mead buys me lunch now and then so I go with it.
  14. Great job Astro. I was there today too and I agree with you about Milano. He had a nice INT in the last 11 on 11 drill and seems to have a nose for the ball. Can see him making the team. Yates looked kind of flat. Peterman has accuracy but wasn't asked to throw deep so no idea if he has mediocre arm. Great seeing McDermott involved in all three teams (offense, defense and ST). Guys were running from drill to drill. No one was disengaged from the activity. The players look excited. Love it.
  15. He looks great. Hope his hammy doesn't get tweaked.
  16. Do these new breakfast sandwiches include truffle oil, lobster meat and Hooters waitresses?? If so...I'm game.
  17. I didn't read the article yet but where is Stephon Gilmore ranked on that list?
  18. You and Hammered A Lot need to stop doing those...he's a big fan.
  19. You making this at your tailgate?? "You're over on Breyer right? You got a pool over there don't cha?"
  20. Will you have enough time for the pork shoulder??
  21. And honorable mention to Country Cletus and his bbq venison skewers....super tasty.
  22. Last year we had the benefit of a full day tailgate...smoked ribs, bbq venison, chicken, a lot of beer, water, shots, etc. This year is a more traditional tailgate...arrive at 7am or 8am, get the grills going, and eat before 12:30pm. What is your favorite tailgate food to prepare and what do you plan on bringing this year? What will you be drinking to go with the selected food? My Options for the opener: I'm thinking of seafood since so many guys will have burgers, hot dogs, steak tips, etc. to share..... Either a bushel of clams and my clam steamer, melted butter, Tabasco/Franks...and also make shuck some raw clams with lemon, cocktail sauce or A whole bunch of shrimp cocktail...lemon wedges, spicy cocktail sauce, etc. For drink I'm considering Bloody Mary's to go with either of those foods or a case or two of Shock Tops (that citrus blend with coriander will go nice with clams I bet). My all time favorite food to eat at tailgate would have to be Mead's stromboli or Mrags ribs or breakfast sammiches.
