  1. No wonder he broke his hand yesterday...guy plays both ways. I say keep him at LB though.
  2. Dude broke his hand and came out second half in a cast....he's a stud. He'll be back in no time.
  3. I imagine if you serviced multiple people at the same time your back would eventually give out.
  4. After reading this I think Carr should be suspended for 5 games. What a tool.
  5. I think we all know why Gugny has a dislike for Carr. It's not the spasms, or the coach or the baby boys. Carr plays ahead of EJ. We all witnessed (if you watched the Raiders game) what EJ Manuel looks like as a starter. He is who we thought he was.
  6. I see you are as well. When someone mocks the subject matter (Orton) or argues against him being on the Wall, should I just keep quiet? This is America last time I checked...I can protest your hating on Orton as much as I want. I just choose to back up my argument with stats.
  7. And I'll keep shouting it from the 300 level..."I take winning seriously". So having a winning season is a serious matter. Did Pat McGroder deliver us a winning season? Did he throw for 3800 pre-extrapolated yards? Did he give our fanbase a glimmer of playoff hopes? I know he was important in the front office and marketing in the 60's but he never sacrificed his back, head, arms, legs or liver for the team. Next thing you'll say is Russ Brandon belongs on the Wall. It's frustrating that some of you can't see the distinction here.
  8. So you aren't giving any reason? Just NO?
  9. Yep. Those were the guys.
  10. Did Pat McGroder only play 12 games for the Bills or did he slide short of a first down? I thought those were the two criteria that mattered.
  11. Pat McGroder??? Pat McGroder?????? You guys are whining about Orton and we have Pat McGroder?????? Smh
  12. Ummm, pretty sure they are. Check the stadium next time you're there.
  13. Please, please, please...free your mind. Look at Orton as a Picasso. It doesn't look great on the surface...but when you step back, look at the colors, the depth, the strength of the picture, the joy it provides and the historical context, how can you question his spot as a landmark in the history of our beloved franchise. If Kelly is a Monet, Thurman is a Michael Angelo and Orton (given his spot during the doldrums of 6-10 seasons) is every bit of artistry as the others who are on that wall.
  14. Do you like gladiator movies?
  15. He played for 8 seasons or so but (just like James Lofton) look at the entirety of his career. Once you look at his career in totality and extrapolate his early year stats to the same measurables as a Buffalo Bill (yardage, TD's, rushing yards, winning season and character/leadership) I would suggest there's no question he qualifies for a spot on the Wall. Don't listen to these other haters...it's ok to admit it.
  16. Typical Joe B. comments. Here's how he analyzes things: "Lesean is good. The Falcons have an ok defense." "Charles Clay is good. He's better than Ebron". "If we can use Lesean and Clay, and if our O line plays "good" we should have a "good" offensive day".
  17. All these statue and urinal uphemisms makes me think you guys believe Orton had no motor. Marrone was gonna have Orton dabble in the read option, as I recall, but opted instead to utilize his arm (which was a smart call IMO). Still, when you consider his rushing yards on a year over year basis from 2007, he would easily surpass Tyrod in both yardage passing (that's given) and rushing.
  18. This point could be made all day long...Kenny Davis was basically a back up RB and he's on the Wall. Same for Frank Reich and he lost a lot of games for us...he's up there. So Orton was our starting field general, brought us a winning season in the midst of a post season famine, yet he is deprived his rightful place in Bills football lore simply because he "slid his best" to get a first down? Sometimes sacrificing your body isn't enough I guess.
  19. Iroquois Middle School...70's. Yes...nude. And the pool was freezing cold. Graduated up to "ball huggers" in high school if you forgot your swim suit.
  20. Thanks for explaining this to the naysayers. Some of these guys will never comprehend how you have to judge a WOF candidate not just for his contributions to our team but his growth and professionalism overall (before and after his playing days with the Bills). Had he started from day one, we'd have multiple banners in our stadium.
  21. I bet you're right. Gravitational pull and all that I guess.
