  1. Martavius Bryant (Steelers) was demoted to the Scout Squad and is inactive for this Sunday. The coaches are clearly taking this step in response to his demands for a trade and public comments. Has this kid been blackballed too? Dont coaches/GMs and owners have a right to say who plays and who sits?
  2. I guess rather than initially asking him a question I would pop in a VHS (or DVD) recording of the 2016 Bills vs Niners game in Buffalo and then ask him exactly how we are supposed to take his talents seriously.
  3. Two spots. One for my huuuuge Toyota Tundra and another spot for Country Cletus. Thanks mead.
  4. https://sports.yahoo.com/sources-colin-kaepernick-join-players-nfl-owners-next-round-talks-165637789.html (Setting the stage: The camera pans left to a long oak table in an upscale hotel in NYC. You can see the leather chairs have all been polished and there is a fresh fruit platter in the middle of the table with white china plates, cloth napkins, crystal glasses for ice water poured from various jugs around the seating area. Waiters stand at attention with freshly pressed pants and white bow ties, each with a towel over their right arm. Paintings of landscapes and metro scenes line the walls and a fireplace warms the room as our characters appear. First, the line of owners which includes Bob Kraft, Jerry Jones, Kim Pegula and an assortment of assistants for the owners, one of whom is you. Next, the players and D Smith enter and take their seats at the table, snacking on juicy pieces of strawberries and cream cheese topped melba rounds. Finally, Kaepernick strolls in and moves his chair, sits at the middle of the table right across from you. He says "I want to talk to this guy here...and that's it." The Owners take their seats, D Smith fidgets with his iPhone and reclines. The room goes silent (except for Bob Kraft who lets out an enormous fart that makes the waiters giggle) You clear your voice, take a sip of water, place the glass gently on the table and say: (What's your question to Kaepernick?)
  5. Math was my nemesis. Just couldn't get beyond simple addition/subtraction. Hated division. Detested geometry and algebra. Failed a semester of Algebra (and my teacher was horrible...in the system 40+ years, may have been drunk many days). Ended up passing the final by the skin of my teef. That's when I decided to become an English major.
  6. Happy Birthday Tom. Here's some light reading: Darius II OchusKING OF PERSIA WRITTEN BY: The Editors of Encyclopædia Britannica See Article History Alternative Title: Darayavaush Darius II Ochus KING OF PERSIA ALSO KNOWN AS Darayavaush DIED 404 BCE Babylon, Iraq TITLE / OFFICE King, Persia (423BC-404BC) ROLE IN Peloponnesian War HOUSE / DYNASTY Achaemenian dynasty FAMILY Father Artaxerxes I Son Cyrus The Younger Son Artaxerxes II VIEW BIOGRAPHIES RELATED TOCATEGORIES government RELATED BIOGRAPHIES Xerxes I ʿAbbās I Ardashīr I Khosrow II Darius I Shāpūr I Cyrus the Great Tissaphernes Khosrow I Shāpūr II Darius II Ochus, (died 404 bce, Babylon [now in Iraq]), Achaemenid king (reigned 423–404 bce) of Persia. The son of Artaxerxes I by a Babylonian concubine, he seized the throne from his half brother Secydianus (or Sogdianus), whom he then executed. Ochus, who had previously been satrap of Hyrcania, adopted the name of Darius on his accession; he was also known as Nothus (from the Greek nothos, meaning “bastard”). Darius was dominated by eunuchs and by his half sister and wife, the cruel and ambitious Parysatis. Intrigue and corruption were rife at the Achaemenid court, and revolts in Hyrcania and Media, although quickly suppressed, were symptomatic of the discontent caused by his rule. After the Athenian defeat at Syracuse in 413 bce, Darius decided to recover the Greek coastal cities of Asia Minor, which had been under Athenian control since 448. The satraps of Asia Minor, Tissaphernesand Pharnabazus, were ordered to collect overdue tribute, and an alliance against Athens was formed with Sparta. In the ensuing war the greater part of Ionia was recovered, but elsewhere the allies had less success, partly because of the policy of Tissaphernes, who gave Spartan forces only limited support. In 407, however, Darius decided to put all his resources behind Sparta. He appointed his son Cyrus the Younger in place of Tissaphernes as commander in chief of Asia Minor and gave him funds to re-create the Spartan fleet. As a result Athenian power was broken in 405 at Aegospotami. Not long after, Darius died of an illness. LEARN MORE in these related articles:

  14. We want Oakland to win? Explain this strategy I'm pretty sure we want NE to win so they can lock up the AFC East and keep our strength of schedule as a good factor when it comes time for Wild Card voting.

  18. No lie. I was listening to our ESPN sports affiliate in Albany NY last week and I accidentally nudged the radio dial slightly and heard the following words (not verbatim but close): "....Harry Truman ...(inaudible static)... Red China Johnny Ray...(inaudible static)... H Bomb...(inaudible static)... Panmunjam." I'm thinking it's some kind of code from the North Koreans. Since they are well over 2000 miles away, I'd say radio signals do, indeed, carry over water.
  19. I have never felt so violated by a woman as I did that day. and Thanks
