We have a big goofy yellow lab but he’s smart, great with kids, eats like a horse and sleeps. A lot of shedding. We also just got a “golden doodle” for my daughter. Great with people/kids, pretty smart for a 13 week old pup, well behaved and “won’t shed”. She’ll be smaller than a typical golden or yellow lab. I’d suggest taking a look at golden doodles.

I know. My comment was directed at where this thread is headed. Also, unsure what the burden of proof is for the NFL Personal Conduct Policy, but I imagine it isn't "innocent until proven guilty" or "beyond a reasonable doubt" (see Zeke Elliot case where he was suspended even when the DA chose not to file criminal charges). I'd wager the NFL policy requires "preponderance of the evidence" or "more likely than not".

Thanks. Remember this as a lesson. It's a common occurrence. Criminals will search the obituaries looking for an elderly couple where one of the spouses die. The obit usually says when the calling hours and funeral are. They drive by during the calling hours, and if no one is there, they plan their break in. Having learned this the hard way, I now tell all my clients to keep a friend at the house during calling hours and funeral (preferably with a handgun). Have that friend keep the lights off and just sit. We had a family friend (police officer) do that for the second night of calling hours.

I don't really feel sorry for a single, multi-million dollar athlete. Call me cold but this story doesn't affect me emotionally. I felt sorry for my grandmother when we came back to her house after my grandfather's wake to find the house torn apart and items stolen. Criminals who feel entitled will prey on others...but when Gronk had the ability to install state of the art security, hire guards, house sitters, etc., he won't be out too much.... his assistant will help him file an insurance claim.

Have you even considered asking EII about this? I heard he works for the sewer authority or something (and that still requires a rudimentary understanding of how liquids flow).

That’s the issue. If you tell a “buyer agent” you want to buy a house, and let’s say your budget is 200k, they will make an offer and every listing agent will want to maximize their commission (or be a buyer/seller agent and not have to split commission with a buyer’s agent). On a 200k sale at 6%, the listing agent is much more likely to dicker on price if they know they are getting the FULL 6% than if they have to split it with a buyer’s agent. Sometimes it’s ok to deal with the listing agent directly...especially if you can’t find an agent to handle your side. In that case, hire an atty to represent you but cut out the buyer’s agent. You may find it easier to get where you want to be.
