Well, thus far no one has given me a logical reason why the cap shouldn’t apply to GM’s, coaches, admin and equipment guys. I, for one, would like to find the best nutritionist in the league but if he/she’s on another team, I want them to account for that salary. Same for the weightlifting trainer and the others who treat the players. Maybe, just maybe, if Hoodie has to skimp on a trainer due to the cap, they don’t have the benefit of that therapist’s expertise. You guys need to think ahead a little.

Billy Bellicheat, Sean Payton, Pete Carrol, the dude in Tampa Bay that wears the beret, and some of these high profile coaches/GM’s and trainers should be paid in accordance with the cap. I’ve heard the argument a hundred times: The Cheats only win because of two people - Brady (subject to the salary cap) and Bellycheat (not subject to cap). The Hoodie should be subject to the cap. Period end. Add to that hat the scouts, the nutritionists, the administrative staff (who handles calls, travel, orders Gatorade, etc). The playing field should be level for everyone. Can ya hear me?

Le’Veon Bell Signinig With the Jets
BringBackFergy replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OTA's aren't purely physical conditioning...it's mental/teamwork conditioning. Especially with a brand new team. Ya wanna be a leader Le'Veon? Hang out with your teammates and get to know them. What a dope. -

Do a wee bit of research and you’ll discover that the “Kay Gun” (named after ex-Bills coach Kay Stephenson) was comprised of approximately 20-30 plays that the players executed to perfection. As such, if it’s good enough for the Kay it’s good enough for Firebox. “Show Gun”!! This is actually a good point. They relied on a monstrous O line, a shifty RB, a deep threat and a slot guy (Reed) who really made it click. But I think we’re close and Allen has the ability to handle it. -

So basically all y’all are saying “Jallen” is too dumb to call his own plays. Keep in mind Daboll stays. He watched film with Jallen and coaches him up during the week. Gives him 20 or so simple plays to use and adjust with modifications. And you all think it’s too much for the kid from Firebox, WY? I’d say you’re all selling the boy short. He should run this offense for the next 4 years before he commands big $$$. Or maybe you fellas run inside when it rains? Live a little. -

Ok, hear me out. * The kid scored a 36 on the Wunderlic (compared to Jimbo’s 20 or so...no offense) * He obviously has legs to call his own number. * Defenses will not be able to substitute in quick enough to account for Beasley, Brown etc. * He is growing with the job. He can handle the duties. Would love to see Josh call his own plays (like Jimbo) and have Daboll coach him up.

Well, you asked for good places to visit. This is a great stop...and profitable.

There’s a guy on the corner of 17th Ave and Washington St that sets up a table full of authentic Rolex watches at 6:30am (and sells out at 7:15am) every Saturday morning. The trick is, you have to bring him 4 sweet rolls from that bakery over on Sullivan Ave (no raisins and I forgot the name of the bakery). But if you grab 4 sweet rolls and bring $200 cash you’ll get a real Rolex worth $1500. Great deal.

The draft is approaching and I’m hoping we grab Stephon Gilmore in the third round. He seems genuinely interested in playing for the Bill(s).

I’m hoping @Cripple Creek can rest his head on his goose down pillow tonight knowing minicamp is scheduled for May 10th (as I indicated above). ?
