Bills Training Camp -check-In day

Age of consent in NY is 17...based on that video Josh Allen looks like a 12 year old heading off to "Robotics Camp" -
I hate to say "I told ya so"....but "I told ya so". This article was written by Chris Brown who is a professional with his ear to the inner workings of the team. He knows what the team is doing. My only question is "Where did he (and the coaches) get the idea for offensive line by committee??? Hmmmm (the last two sentences in bold look awfully familiar). You can thank me later. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/camp-countdown-no-13-what-should-be-expected-from-buffalo-s-offensive-line More versatility Much has been made of the position flexibility of many of the new additions to Buffalo’s offensive line. Through the course of the spring veteran additions like Jon Feliciano and Spencer Long manned all three interior line positions. Quinton Spain flipped from one guard to the other. Ty Nsekhe and LaAdrian Waddle switched sides routinely at the tackle position. Even younger players like Ike Boettger and Jeremiah Sirles tried their hand at center in addition to guard and tackle respectively. That versatility comes in handy when injury strikes. “Spence and I have both played different positions and when you have guys like that you don’t miss a beat because it’s nothing for me to play the left or right side or go to center and I know Spence feels the same way,” said Feliciano, who was part of an Oakland offensive line that surrendered the fewest sacks in the league in 2017 despite being forced to change roles due to injury. Perhaps even more important are the strengths of Buffalo’s offensive linemen vary as well. If offensive coordinator Brian Daboll wants to be a road-grading team in the run game he has drive blockers like Feliciano, Spain, Nsekhe and Cody Ford. If he wants a more mobile team that can attack the flanks he has more athletic options in Long, Morse and Wyatt Teller. So as the offensive staff determines who their best five are, they also have the luxury of matching it with an offensive identity.

As you know, I'm well versed in baseball. That being said, would you want to incorporate a "wild card" game in there or not? -

"Pay yourself first" My father always stressed this when I first started working and later when I opened my own shop. Whether you do auto transfer into an IRA or auto transfer into an investment account or savings account, put money aside for retirement and your own needs before spending on current luxuries (new cars, new boats, fancy tv's, etc). In 25 years I can see his point. Dollar cost averaging really works. Which leads to my father and grandfather's other favorite saying: "Remember man as you go by, as you are now so once was I, as I am now so you shall be, prepare for death and follow me." Kind of a bummer of a saying/life lesson, but as I have watched my grandfather and father pass away, I realize the need to try and improve each day for my kids so they can do the same for their children in the future. -

When Elaine bid on JFK’s golf clubs, the “heiress” to what candy bar bid against her? -
Or tries to BS their way through the essay with big words like "tempered micro-climate" and "windward of the lake". Pshhhh

I think he lost his touch. Maybe that mid-eastern food doesn't agree with his brain. Pretty sure my 9th grade daughter could have done better with that response of his.

This was a very "underwhelming" post. Where's the Wiki links? Where's the diagrams and pictures? Meh

Yes. I get along with most anyone. At least I think they like me. Maybe I’m mistaken. -
* Setting up the Carp Signal and beaming it into the sky *. @ExiledInIllinois....we need you!! Helllp us answer this question

What surprises me is how very few chose filet as best steak (other than the fella that cooked a whole tenderloin on the grill - which I will try sometime). EDIT: By the way, start your own damn duck thread. Or tell tell me how to make it here. LOL. Sounds great.

@Joe in Winslow is doing it ass backwards. Everyone knows you put salt and pepper on the steak BEFORE grilling/cooking it. He puts it on after. That’s like guys that dip their ribeye steak in ketchup - @ExiledInIllinois or the “Ranch dressing club” @Cripple Creek
-
It’s funny, I always dust steaks with kosher salt and coarse ground pepper before cooking. Then I inevitably put salt and pepper on the steak again when ready to eat it. So you don’t salt and pepper the steak before grilling/cooking?

Do I want Asian Carp in the lake? Hell no!! But your brethren locktenders in the lower river obviously were too busy playing Pokémon on their phones as the invasion occurred. Thanks. “Hello, I’m with the government and I’m here to help”. SMH

Does anyone with a vested interest in this thread care to tell @mead107 he’s watching re-runs from the Brooks Falls bears of 2016 or should we just let him keep busy? @ExiledInIllinois? @Mike in Horseheads?

Whole loin on the grill is something I always wanted to do. I would think the seasoned outside would create a tasty bark to enjoy with the tender inside
