  1. This has been the problem with the Bills since the '90s. Fitzbeard, while lovable and a hard worker is just not talented enough to get the job done. In summary, he is a lovable loser. Eventually the people of Buffalo will shrug off their love for everything underdog and start to demand talent and victories instead of close losses. At least I hope so. I would say Fitz is a snap shot of Buffalo and that is why so many people love him. Rise up Buffalo, and demand more of yourself and your team. This thread had nothing to do with Vick. Get over yourself. You must be a riot to be around.
  2. 1. look good in a bikini - ewwwwwww!!! 2. Show me you can win a big game, come from behind, throw accurately, evade a strong rush - Did you see him play this year? The Alabama game being my case and point. 3. Good Martini - Real football fans drink beer
  3. Take all of Spiller's rookie year and compare it with the handful of games that Starks has played for Green Bay. I would say he has a point. It was a terrible pick. The best running back on this team was an un-drafted guy. Why waste a top ten pick on a running back? Especially when that running back was not touted as an all around running back coming out of college.
  4. What good would it have done for them to call themselves? I kid...I agree with your point. It does seem like most of the Jay Glazer reports are crap and it seems as though he likes to pick on the Bills front office a lot. In his defense, they make it easy.
  5. Come on now. Bledsoe and Losman both struggled to hit a screen pass.
  6. What was it like when you played ball with him? What level was that anyway? High School, college? I have heard interviews of former teammates and coaches that say he does possess leadership qualities.
  7. I appreciate you. I'll even treat you like a special person. That way we can avoid the apparent complex that you exhibit.
  8. I wonder how many coaches were sure things. Seems like Saban was one of those guys that was a sure thing who would have been a star in the NFL. A long playing career does not guarantee success as a head coach. For that matter it doesn't matter what connections you have in the NFL, unless they are going to hide in your office and coach the team for you in case you cannot cut it. Fact is he is an unproven commodity. Remember, he has Andrew Luck on his team...much the same as Tom Brady made Bill a genius.
  9. With wide receivers that can catch, he might throw for 4000 yards. Your assertion that he couldn't throw for 4,000 yards is ridiculous. How do you know? Are you an NFL talent scout? I love how people on this board make concrete statements like they are experts or for some reason their opinion is gospel.
  10. I believe this is an incorrect assumption. I don't think it has anything to do with 11 of the 12 playoff teams prefer a pocket passer over an athletic freak. I believe it is because you don't find a Michael Vick everyday. That said, I would like to see Luck. If they cannot land Luck, I would like to see Vick.
  11. At this point they Ned 52 bows to wear on their heads. Then we can ship them to LA as a Christmas present.
  12. That implies that you know what your record is going to be. If that were the case, why play the games. They could just set back and say yep we will win this week and nope we will lose this week.
  13. Care to name them?
  14. Wasn't that like the 6th game of the season? Does that mean going 0-8 in the first half of this season is good for the Bills playoff hopes? Just wondering.
  15. If you think that every wide receiver in the league doesn't need to bust their butt's in order to get better weak in weak out, you need to turn off Madden.
  16. That's a little weird.
  17. My bad Doc. I re-read your post this morning and you are correct.
  18. The main difference is that Shanny will probably get fired next year. He has a bad habit of thinking he is smarter than everyone else. It will get him canned in DC just as it did in Denver. He had a QB in Denver with a winning record whom he benched because he is smarter than everybody else. That worked out well for him. I'll be laughing as both Shanny and little Shanny are run out of DC. Regardless of your attempt to minimize the role of a great running back, Elway has 0 rings without TD. Considering the fast that TD could hardly walk but was utilized as a decoy that worked perfectly I would say that he made a big difference. I also believe that team wins without Shanahan. Head coaches are over rated. It is the players on the field that play the game.
  19. Now you just sound foolish.
  20. I think it might have something to do with a good stiff arm might catch a defender off guard. The defender really needs to anticipate in order to get a hold of said arm.
  21. That's because we would all laugh at you.
  22. HAHA. You mean neutral zone infraction Smerlas.
  23. KRT88, you are trying to hard to be the typical western NY oh poor me the sky is falling guy. Get some therapy.
  24. Is it a verified account? I am thinking probably not him.
  25. yeah. Like -5 temp without the windchill factor which feels like -30. Minnesota in the winter sucks.
