  1. 26CornerBltz - Advertisers put spots in certain programming. Programming that they know people watch. So, no fans watching, no advertising money. No ad money, poor ratings, much smaller TV contracts. The consumer drives the economy.
  2. EJ just doesn't have it. Come to think of it, neither does the D.
  3. Paging GreggyT. GreggyT, crow on line 1.
  4. I don't disagree that it only takes one. It only takes one for Hughes too. Somebody will always be standing there with a bag of money. I wouldn't be upset if he blew his motivator cuff in practice this week is all. Just looked it up...sports hernia, didn't know that.
  5. Actually, yeah it really is about him. They aren't in the military. They are professional athletes on a team that is playing for nothing. It's a business, period. Someone should have told Jadeveon Clowney that GM's hated that. Maybe he would have been drafted number 1 overall if he had just put in the effort rather than dogging it so he didn't get hurt.
  6. If you take the top rating for EJ, he was a 4 by one source and a 5 by another, shouldn't you do the same for Carr? Car was a 3 by one source and a 4 by another. If you're right you don't have to pick and choose how you present it. Yeah EJ was a higher rated recruit.
  7. Really? What would give you that idea? Not being sarcastic or a jerk, I just don't see it in him anymore. The one where he looked like he was trying to square dance with the end? Before Mack and the End blew up the play or is that a run I am thinking of?
  8. The deadspin photos show a good picture of the car. I would guess that given the angle the car was hit that the driver of the car ran the stop sign or pulled out in front of him and was hit in the right front side of the car. Maybe, maybe not...can't see skid marks on the road where the car would have had to have spun around once hit. Who knows, hope they are all ok.
  9. Well played. Still laughing.....my leg.
  10. In general, discipline is easier to take from someone you respect. Winning earns respect. We'll see how this plays out.
  11. So, we're going with the everyone is against the Bills conspiracy theory tonight?
  12. We are discussing punt returns here good sir. Clearly an entirely different animal, hence the need for Glass Goodwin...that is all.
  13. Kind of a douchehammer thread
  14. So Chandler did touch him then? Ok. Henderson, not anyone, Henderson moved. Twice. Watch another replay and you'll see Williams made contact with the QB who was sliding. Period.
  15. Call on Williams was a good call. Henderson moved. Chandler pushed off. Am I missing something here?
  16. When they had a chance to go up 14-3 at the half and didn't. Figured they go up 14-3 at the half and add 7 more with the first possession of the second half and the game was pretty well finished.
  17. It's okay man. We're discussing NFL teams here.
  18. You've clearly got your opinion, I'll keep mine. I am really having a hard time coming up with anything that is out of the ordinary with Mike Williams. He had academic issues in 2008 and was suspended for the season. I suspect that would happen at Alabama all the time if they cared. In 2009 he quit the team but does anyone know what actually took place at all? 2010 arrested for DUI and demonized only to find that he wasn't DUI and the charges were dropped. Maybe DWB would have been a better charge. There is a pending misdemeanor charge from last December that is left to deal with but that is, again, about as serious as what? Marcell and Jerry racing? Tampa management had a hard time because he was a rapper and he put crap online that they couldn't control and didn't focus on football enough while on IR. That sounds pretty trumped up to me. How focused is Kiko right now? is he studying film daily? I just don't see where he is such an off the field issues guy that it should be a problem. How did that 90s Cowboys team work if these issues are enough to demonize and jettison someone in the NFL?
  19. Or just as likely it could be that Saint Doug is the diva that can't get over whatever went down when MW was at Syracuse. After all, the patron saint of garbage did tell him if they were still in college he wouldn't allow him on his team. I'm sorry but the Saint of Garbage needs to be fed to the compactor. Let's get a real coach that can handle personalities without chaffing like a fat man's thighs.
  20. Which analysis? Are we talking about the Pressure Points article? That is only covering week 2...I must be dense since I couldn't find a 4 week total which I am sure exists somewhere. Any idea where it is? Read this https://www.profootb...g-productivity/ All I am saying is that for what he is paid I expect that he would be a more consistent pass rush threat like a Ware, Smith, Suggs. He isn't close.
  21. Go ahead and count for me the number of snaps that Mario is double teamed. Got new for you, this is the NFL and moving the LT back does not do much in disrupting an NFL quarterback. There is still a pocket to step into. It only counts if you create a pressure or a sack. Kyle Williams appears on that list in years when he didn't play with Mario Williams and Dareus was supposed to be a powerhouse inside. Most 4-3 tackles are not doubled every play so you should be able to whip a guard often enough to appear on that list. No, that would be your own overreaction and jumping to conclusions. I simply stated that Mario should be actually producing for what he is being paid.
  22. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even when it is wrong. Are you implying that Mario Williams was more effective than Suggs in that game? That is pretty astonishing considering Mario had one sack where he chased the QB out of bounds because nothing was open. So I thought I would go back and look at the passing statistics from both teams as just a quick let's see how effective the pass rush was at a basic level. Turns out if you basically multiple the Bills passing numbers by 2.2 you come up with a stat line that is almost identical. Now statistically speaking that may be off, but at a basic level you double everything because Baltimore had 50 passing attempts while Buffalo had 22. You multiply all by 2.2 and the sacks, interceptions, yards, touchdowns are all virtually the same. We can revisit this at the end of the year and you can eat your hat. If I am wrong then I'll eat mine.
  23. Go to pro football focus. Mario isn't in the top 15 defensive ends when it comes to percentage of pressure in pass rushing situations. A 100 million dollar defensive end should be on that list, PERIOD. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2013/10/02/signature-stats-pass-rushing-productivity/
  24. Should they argue that with Ravens fan? The Browns are an expansion team for crying out loud.
