I think Nix craps his drawers every time he goes a little heavy on the Metamucil.

It would stink to trade Evans after we paid him all that front loaded money on his current extension: Signed a four-year, $37.25 million contract extension through 2012. The deal includes $18.25 million guaranteed and a first-year salary of $11,730,770. Another $3 million is available through incentives. 2010: $5.4 million (+ $3 million roster bonus), 2011-2012: $3.025 million (+ $1 million roster bonuses), 2013: Free Agent

What Happens when Ralph Wilson dies ?
NaPolian8693 replied to I hate the Bills !'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The sad truth is that Ralph does not care one tiny bit what happens to the franchise after his death. He knows that he is near the end of his life. If he cared about the franchise staying in Buffalo, he would have sold it already or started a plan in motion. Everyone knows that his living children hate Buffalo and hate football, so they will just sell the team to whomever is the highest bidder. They will be happy when it moves away. -

Here's what happens when he dies: Everyone struggles with a weird ethical dilemma, because one one hand it's obviously great for the franchise but on the other hand it's creepy to feel happy that a decent human being has passed away. -
No hope for Maybin

I am also in favor of Maybin getting on the juice. If he could add 25 pounds of muscle, he might stand a chance. -
I understand that they are rebuilding. I GET that. It's simply my opinion they are doing a very poor job at it.

Joe Klopfenstein was voted off of the Injured tribe today, after a surprise tribal council. No one is safe. Hide your kids. Hide your wife.

The REAL trade Buffalo made...

Marshawn Lynch never fit the image the franchise wanted. Marshawn's image was perceived by some as thuggish. He has gold teeth and long hair. He is intimidating and threatening to sheltered suburbanites. He has had some off the field issues, and his whole persona does not fit into the overall image that the front office marketing machine is trying to create for this franchise. CJ Spiller is more All-American. He has a winning smile and less tattoos. He rates higher on the Character charts, and his persona feels safer and less dangerous. Good luck in Seattle, Marshawn! They are a more open-minded people up there. -
At least I have MJD on my fantasy team

Things are as bleak as they have ever looked. It's hard to find any reason to be excited to watch the Bills at this point, but can we at least count on Spiller getting some reps? I mean, we spent a top draft pick for this guy to be the future of the franchise, and ran our existing Pro-Bowl 1st rounder running back out of town to make way for him. I hope we can at least count on seeing Spiller get 20 touches a game going forward. Give us something.

This is a pretty ragged looking bunch of assistant coaches, there is no doubt about that. It's sad when you look around the league, and see lots of coaches that were formerly with the Bills doing well in their new homes. I suppose the same thing happens with players, too, though. If they are any good, they eventually just move on to greener pastures.

Hey, if spending my free time crying on some Internet message board about how passionate and upset I am about every decision the Bills make doesn't scream "Dedicated Fan", I don't know what does.
-
That's just my personal opinion. I think part of the reason it has been effective is that teams initially were just very unprepared for it. There's a lot more film on it now, and teams are getting better at defensing it. I'm not saying it's totally dead, I just think defenses are catching up. It is still good for a change of pace every once in a while.

lol nice Pilsner

No, they will get multiple more years, unfortunately

Pats will trade Moss for a 2nd rounder. The the Bills will trade Evans to the Pats for a 5th.

Because of my extensive experience playing the Madden football video game in franchise mode, I am highly qualified as an NFL GM. Year after year I bring the virtual Bills to Super Bowl glory. The first thing I do every year is trade or cut the majority of the players on the roster. The Bills players are always rated very low, and few have high Potential ratings, so you just want to get rid of them all right away. You definitely want to start by getting rid of Trent Edwards, first things first. What you do is trade them all for draft picks, and then build your own team from scratch. The downside is sometimes you might have to just simulate a full season or two, but that's really not a big deal. I also keep the fans in mind, and put in the Super HD Jumbotron after a season or two. Also new cup holders. Just trade away everyone on the team now, and get moving in the right direction!

Maybe the Bills can trade Philly a 4th rounder for Joique Bell. -

Evans for a 2nd? Try Evans for a 4th. -
I don't see how the Seahawks took a big gamble. Even if Marshawn gives them nothing, all they gave up was a lousy 4th rounder. This was a BIG win for the Seahawks.
