Roy played great, that one move on the first goal was sick nasty. Miller was Miller.

Debunking the 34 is the problem myth

Here are some highlights from the Jets game: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81b07091/Jets-vs-Bills-highlights By my count, these highlights show the Bills on defense on seven plays (eleven total plays shown). Of these seven defensive snaps, the Bills were in a 3-4 on four of them, in a Goal Line package on two, and one in some other formation variant (majority in 3-4). In non goal line situations they were in 3-4 four out of five snaps. I deleted the game from my Tivo already and don't really care to rewatch that game anyways, but they were definitely running 3-4 more than 15% of the time. -
Why do we want to draft a loser?

Take the QB, for sure. A Pro Bowl tackle is great, and really helps your franchise, but no team would ever give away a Pro Bowl QB for a tackle. Would you trade Drew Brees for Jason Peters? -

If you think the Bills are in a 3-4 less than 15% of the time on defense, I'm not sure that you are correctly identifying the 3-4. You can have four down pass rushers in a 3-4. You can also have five, as shown here: http://football.calsci.com/images/3-4.png -
The current front office regime will never change, as long as Ralph Wilson remains alive and owner of the Bills. When it came time to find a new GM, the Bills promoted from within. Familiar faces like Littman/Overdorf/Brandon/Modrak all remained in the front office. Ralph just didn't have it in him to search for a new GM in earnest and then turn the reigns over someone new this close to the end. These guys all know they are just riding this thing out until the inevitable happens with Ralph, and then and only then true change can take place. Hopefully the team remains so fans can enjoy it. The scary part is that if Ralph lives to be 100, this whole sham of a franchise will continue to twist in the wind year after year. Some people believe that Ralph is still sharp as a tack, but even if that is true, at some point he will begin to lose it. As he begins to slowly succumb to dementia, who will the front office be accountable to? It seems that no matter how poor their performance, at some stage Ralph won't any longer to be able to effectively do anything about it. My personal opinion is that we have already reached that point, and they are taking advantage of Ralph.

What if Ralph doesn't die?

That uforesircher guy always posts in big font. He says that is has something to do with a visual impairment, but is just trolling. If it were actually a visual impairment issue, how would having only your own posts in large font help? Everything else on the screen would still be small. -
Who would you start on your fantasy team?
NaPolian8693 replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fred Jackson will get at least twice as many carries as CJ Spiller. Spiller obviously has more big play potential and might outscore Jackson, but Jackson is the one most likely to score the most fantasy points. -

Who wants Jake Locker? I don't want him. I don't want a prospect that is touted as a "mobile quarterback". I don't care if he can scramble, I want a guy that can read a defense and deliver an accurate ball and be a leader. Andrew Luck is the best prospect, by far, in my opinion. He has it all. Ryan Mallet is not bad, and is taller and has a bigger arm than Luck. However, I think Luck is smarter and more adept at reading defenses and also more of a leader and field general. -

Is it Time to Root for 0-16 Yet?
NaPolian8693 replied to NaPolian8693's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm glad to see other fans are rooting for 1-15 and a top draft pick. I feel like a traitor rooting for my favorite team to lose, but at the same time I feel like I just want what is best for the future of the team - and that is Andrew Luck. -
I know some people consider it to be in bad taste to root for your team to go 0-16. As Herm would say, you play to win the game. At this point, though, it's clear the Bills are not a playoff team and are in full rebuilding mode. Getting that top draft pick would sure help Buddy get this thing moving in the right direction. We could easily finish ahead of Carolina or Oakland or Cleveland or someone and miss out on our future QB. I don't know who to root for the next time I watch a Bills game.

If the "disgrunteled" Randy Moss is worth a 3rd
NaPolian8693 replied to High Mark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would love to see them bring in Logan Mankins. The problem is that anytime I think a move would be good, they do the opposite. Anytime I think a move would be bad, they go right for it. That doesn't bode well for seeing Mankins in Buffalo. -
Good, get that lazy do-nothing the hell out of here. This one I am all for.

The only things you've posted in this thread are an extremely lame and obvious "joke", and then a couple posts trolling me. I'm posting my opinions, same as anyone else. Unless Ralph himself makes an announcement, it's all just wild speculation - be it positive or negative. (yes, even guys like K-Gun that try so hard to pretend they are "in the know" are just giving opinions). -

The fact is you don't know anything more than the rest of us. So everyone is talking out of their ass. He doesn't move the team now because he just wants to live out his last days in peace. If there is a plan in place to keep the team in Buffalo, why doesn't he just make it known? They are all fully aware of that fans are afraid the team will move, but OBD has done nothing to ease anyone's mind. -

The reason no one knows the plan is because the plan is to just move the team. If he made that known, think of the outcry it would create. He would have a huge mess on his hands, and ticket sales would even further plummet. -
He won't tell you the plan because the plan is to just let the team go. If he made that public, there would be outcry and a huge shitstorm for him to deal with. He doesn't want that kind of hassle, so he remains silent.

A dose of reality for the hysteria
NaPolian8693 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand they are rebuilding. I expected them to lose a lot this year. I just don't think they are doing a good job of rebuilding so far, simple as that. I don't really like any of their moves, and I don't like that the rest of the NFL constantly laughs at how inept they are. -

Evans salary is not that much, we paid him front-loaded money (which is part of why they won't trade him). Evans signed a four-year, $37.25 million contract extension through 2012. The deal includes $18.25 million guaranteed and a first-year salary of $11,730,770. Another $3 million is available through incentives. 2010: $5.4 million (+ $3 million roster bonus), 2011-2012: $3.025 million (+ $1 million roster bonuses), 2013: Free Agent -
