Trent Williams Owns Demarcus Ware
NaPolian8693 replied to BB Fan 4 LIFE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually Demarcus Ware got one sack when they played. -
James Harrison: "I don't care if I hurt players"
NaPolian8693 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you think NFL players and coaches don't realize this? It you knock someone out of the game, you get praised by your teammates and coaches. Mike Ditka said tonight that knocking a player out of the game was a "feather in your cap" for a player. It's the way it has always been. -
This week everyone can get a much clearer look at the true Ryan Fitzpatrick, and why he will always be a backup. Jacksonville is terrible, and having a good game against the worst secondary in the league doesn't prove much of anything. A solid Baltimore defense is going to put him on lockdown, and his QB rating will fall.

I've heard that there was truth to the rumor that he also had an argument with Ralph's daughter. I'm sure he was at odds with many people in the organization: This guy comes in here with his winning ways and tries to change the entire culture of the franchise?! Who the hell does he think he is?

The current uniforms are AWFUL. The AFL throwbacks and the 90s throwbacks are both great. You gotta look good to play good.

Post Ralph Wilson era: Bill Polian?
NaPolian8693 replied to Cotton Fitzsimmons's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Polian. -
Wow, you know things are bad when people start to think we should give Jamarcus another shot.

I think Steve Johnson is good for a fourth receiver, that's about it though.

A visual of how we're using Maybin all wrong
NaPolian8693 replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look guys, getting down on all fours is what comes naturally to Maybin. He was born this way, it's not his fault. -
The whole thing just stinks. I have such fond memories of Marv, and always will, but the GM debacle tarnishes the legacy.

I hate it when Maybin pulls out his patented Four-On-The-Floor move. It's embarassing. -
The Jets show how easy it is to turn a franchise around in today's NFL, and it makes Bills fans so bitter to see their rapid ascent, and then look at the Bills who have been bad for a long time and now the owner says it will last many more years. Haters gonna hate.

Where do Good QBs Come From?
NaPolian8693 replied to NaPolian8693's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is exactly the kind of scared, wrongheaded thinking that permeates the Bills fan base. Fans are afraid of the potential of a bust, so would rather pass on the chance to turn the franchise around and instead want to settle for a safer route and hope to return to perennial 8-8 form. -
Let's look at QBs in the NFL that stand to have good careers that last many seasons and feature a Pro Bowl (based on my own personal opinion), and what round they were drafted in. Philip Rivers - 1st round Peyton Manning - 1st Donovan McNabb - 1st Eli Manning - 1st Carson Palmer - 1st Aaron Rodgers - 1st Matt Ryan - 1st Jay Cutler - 1st Mike Vick - 1st Brett Favre - 2nd Drew Brees - 2nd Matt Schaub - 3rd Tom Brady - 6th Tony Romo - Undrafted Potential: Matthew Stafford - 1st Sam Bradford - 1st Joe Flacco - 1st Mark Sanchez - 1st Josh Freeman - 1st Kyle Orton - 4th QBs that did not make the list do not stand to have "franchise QB" careers, in my opinion. Of these twenty QBs, fourteen of the twenty are first round picks. So, yes, 1st round QB picks do bust at a high rate, but nonetheless the first round of the draft is still by far your best shot at getting a good QB to build around.

A lot of paper bags on fans heads

I can't tell whether uforesircher is a top quality troll or simply one of the most laughable people in existence. -

I'm really surprised that he came right out and said that he would be dead before the team was any good again.

Why the Bills MUST Draft a QB

LMFAO The only thing dumber than the front office is the fan base. -
Ralph Will Never Fire This Regime
NaPolian8693 replied to NaPolian8693's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is the whole problem, Chimp. In NFL ownership families, normally the owner's heirs would have taken the reigns by now, and would have been heavily involved for most of their lives. Ralph only had one child that had an interest in football, and sadly she is no longer with us. He has no surviving family members with any interest in this franchise or the NFL, except to line up and collect their paycheck when Ralph finally passes. It is a very sad state of affairs. -
Why the Bills MUST Draft a QB
NaPolian8693 replied to NaPolian8693's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can see this thread will be a good demonstration of how most of the Bills fan base doesn't really understand today's NFL well enough to value an elite QB. -
Everyone had written off Clutch McCargo as the next to go, but tribal council once again proved that no one is safe as Chris Ellis was sent packing.

Ralph Will Never Fire This Regime
NaPolian8693 replied to NaPolian8693's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The problem is Ralph is too old to change anything. He is surrounded by leeches in the front office that will just keep the status quo until he finally dies. Look at the last two GMs, bringing in an old friend like Levy even though he is not qualified for the job, and then just promoting Nix from within and keeping everyone else like Brandon/Modrak/Littman/Overdorf, etc. He's a dying old man, he is not capable of performing a search for a new GM even if he wanted to. I mean, who is even going to make the phone calls and do the interviews? It would be one of his Yes-Men, like Russ, and the leeches would never let anyone come in here that would shake things up too much. It's sad, but it's really just a group of front office executive vultures preying on Ralph for big salaries with no accountability.
