  1. Yah, the if Bills could trade Fitzpatrick and some draft picks for Bradford, would you endorse the move? If they wanted our 2nd and 3rd rounder plus Fitzpatrick would you still do it?
  2. What do you think about Cordero Howard?
  3. I'll throw in a little juice. Marshawn Lynch was traded for a 4th round draft pick. If the Bills could trade today, would you rather have Ryan Fitzpatrick and a 3rd rounder and 6th rounder, or Sam Bradford?
  4. Very simple play. He only touched one foot down in bounds. His elbow may have touched in bounds, which would have been enough, but it was inconclusive whether or not his elbow came down in bounds. There is no force out rule anymore in the NFL, so the fact that he landed on another player and that player threw him out of bounds is irrelevant.
  5. Don't have such kneejerk reactions to a good game. Rob Johnson had nice looking games. Losman and Edwards looked good at times. He played well today and I was wrong about my prediction, but the Ravens weren't taking the Bills seriously and the Bills came out fired up giving their best effort. Good on him for playing his heart out. If he keeps playing like this, they will stick with him. When he inevitably falters, I hope the front office can make the right decisions in the draft.
  6. Thanks BucksNBills. There were some positive things to take away from this game, but let's not forget that this team is not a playoff team, and a one game difference if likely to decide who gets the top pick in the draft.
  7. The line did a pretty good job in pass protection today. They weren't blowing them off the ball consistently in the running game, but on the whole they performed much better they have recently. What do you think was the difference? Just improved QB play, or some people stepping up, or different guys getting snaps or what?
  8. Okay, Fitzpatrick obviously played a great game. I was wrong. I still don't believe in him as the future QB of this franchise. However, as a fan, I can only feel proud of the effort and performance he put out there today.
  9. I still don't believe in him, but as a Bills fan I am proud of his effort and performance out there today.
  10. Props to DaninUticaTampa for the first bump.
  11. What a play at the end of the game to secure the loss by Shawn Nelson! He literally may have saved the entire season with that fumble. In a week where Carolina and Cleveland suffered key victories, the Bills now stand alone atop the draft mountain. The Ravens clearly got caught asleep at the wheel. They were already looking past Buffalo, and couldn't take them seriously. The Bills, on the other hand, were fired up and motivated by all this UFL talk. Don't fool yourself into thinking that Fitzpatrick is the answer or that this team is on the doorstep of something great, they still need to rebuild entirely. The Bills gave their best effort today, and the Ravens gave one of their worst - and it still wasn't enough to get a win. This team is miles away and desperately needs that number one draft pick. Thank you Shawn Nelson for getting us one step closer.
  12. Didn't read the responses yet, but I think we can all agree it's pretty evident at this point that Ryan Fitzpatrick is mediocre at best and not the future of this franchise.
  13. Good article. The Bills will be like this until Ralph dies. It sucks, but them's the berries.
  14. Rodgers weighs like 30+ pounds more than Spiller. If you needed someone to get a tough yard, I'd take Rodgers. If you need a back to help with pass blocking, I'd also take Rodgers. Otherwise I'd take Spiller.
  15. Perhaps it's too early to call this draft class a bust, but nonetheless every single other team in the NFL has gotten more contributions from rookies so far this season than the Bills.
  16. The worst teams in sports get the worst reporters in sports. That's life.
  17. Thanks for the info on Magic Johnson, OP. I didn't know he was such a successful businessman, good for him!
  18. If I was the Las Vegas Locomotives I'd be pretty pissed off right now. This really tarnishes their brand.
  19. I think I would be a good GM, so I would hire myself. I am very confident that I could draft more effectively than the current Bills front office by doing no scouting whatsoever, and instead just drafting based on Kiper and Mayock's draft boards.
  20. Today's out of control athletes simply need a good old fashioned spanking to set them on the straight and narrow. Makes sense.
  21. Removing the facemask is one of the worst ideas I've ever heard. You've got to be kidding me. People will lead with the crown of their helmet right into their opponent's exposed faces. You'd have multiple broken noses and terrible face injuries every game. It's really pretty sick to even suggest such a thing.
  22. I had not yet seen this. Thanks for the link. Crazy stuff.
  23. Why the hell are they turning him into a guard instead of a tackle?! Is it because we just have too much talent at tackle and haven't drafted any guards lately?
  24. Maybe you are new here and don't see the threads that pop up every day where fans endorse Fitzpatrick as the QB of the future, and vehemently push back against the notion of drafting a top QB.
