  1. I think there might've been one over in 123 late in the game...that's the only time I saw anything resembling a fight
  2. damn...I usually go in through Gate 1 but was over in Lot C filming the Jills dance performances. Afterwards, I walked back to the stadium alongside the squad and went in at gate 4....with no line whatsoever
  3. He wasn't leading the team very well when he got scared after throwing those picks. A true leader uses the tools that are available to him in order to succeed. I find it easier to respect someone who knows he's having problems as opposed to someone who isn't man enough to accept help. If he had conferred with Kelly, maybe that Fred Jackson fumble wouldn't have happened. On 3rd and 3, Trent connected with Steve Johnson for 21 yards. Yeah, kept the drive going, but we could've ended the drive on that play because Roscoe Parrish was WIDE OPEN!! (something you can see at the game that you can't on TV) Roscoe had his coverage (only 1 defender) beat by a couple of steps and had endzone in front of him. Loft it over Roscoe, he runs under it and scores the TD. Instead, 2 plays after that play, Action Jackson fumbles the ball
  4. he could've at least been able to relate to him how to pick himself up after those picks. Trent looked scared after them...afraid to make throws...and it was a big reason we lost. There were throws he could've made that he didn't that would've won us the game
  5. I don't think name-calling is necessary...some people just ain't cut out to be a part of the 12th man. Personally, I can't stand watching the game on TV when I should be there. It drove me nuts watching that Cleveland game on TV last year...not everyone is as dedicated though and those of us who are that dedicated should just accept that.
  6. http://www.wgrz.com/news/local/story.aspx?...75&catid=37 MONDAY 6am - 6pmLake snows will continue throughout the day with new accumulations of 6" in most persistent areas well south of Buffalo. Winds will become more northerly shifting the main snow bands deeper into Chautauqua County while smaller snow bands with connections to Lake Ontarion, Lake Huron and Georgian Bay will keep snow showers in the forecast further north with accumulations likely later in the day. MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL FORECASTChilly and breezy with snow showers. Winds will be NW 10-15mph and tamps will start at 32 for tailgators then drop into the 20s during the game.
  7. looks like light snow and light wind http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findwe...;weekday=Monday
  8. funny....I see more at the game than you can see on TV. With TV, you're restricted to the camera angles that the network chooses to show you. At the game, I can see WRs break open while the TV camera is focused on the QB setting up to pass
  9. knowing that you're a part of it, seeing more than you can on TV, the camaraderie, actually helping the team win... 22 penalties against the 49ers in 1998...a lot of those were false starts caused, in part, by crowd noise. We even had Steve Young so flustered he lined up under the guard on one play.

  11. Really hoping he gets well soon. Besides the obvious humanitarian reasons, he's by far the best writer around for the NLL and we need him back to cover the Bandits' drive to repeat as Champs

  13. the best place near the stadium to eat would have to be the Pinto...nothing more needs to be said
  14. if there's any precip, just hope it's cold enough for it to be snow...that Giants game last year was the most miserable weather I've ever sat though
  15. nope...happily single
  16. not married, but a friend of mine is a Terps alum and her boyfriend plays on the team...so I'm kinda rooting for them
  17. not that we really wanna watch it again but just in case.. The Bills-Jets game will be on tonight at 8pm, tomorrow at 1am and noon...all times EST
  18. it's called the lesser of two evils...something the 2-party system and the electoral college has forced us to do. Normally, I'd be in favor of trying to make a statement and voting for a 3rd party candidate even though they have almost no chance of winning, but when one candidate is planning to continue the evil neo-con agenda and keep sending our nation into the toilet, the only responsible choice to make is to keep that candidate out of office
  19. nope...he'll be eligible to play Thursday night
  20. It's really scary that people actually believe that
  21. funny...I don't think of him as a savior...but I feel MORE secure and LESS fearful for my country now that we're about to have someone in office who doesn't follow the evil neo-con agenda
  22. no offense but, you have no one to blame but yourself...I've never gotten in later than a half hour before kickoff...when you have so many people waiting so long to go in, you're bound to have a huge cluster!@#$
  23. an illegal war of aggression in Iraq launched by a GOP President ring a bell? slanderous attacks launched by the McCain campaign and Palin...
  24. minor correction. He said that it was difficult to get motivated after he came in to play in Arizona. Has he said that since then? Do we have any reason to believe that he was still having problems getting motivated after that game? Short of people wanting to believe the worst, there's no reason to think that he's being anything less than professional
  25. This is news? Kraft started paying off refs in 1998
