Last world championship on lake erie
The_Philster replied to Tcali's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1...no...I think they had some like that price as a promotion for a few games 2...price has nothing to do with it..people travel all over the country to follow their NLL teams..1 guy went to every single NY Titans game this year Lacrosse is an exciting sport once you actually give it an actual chance. I used to ignore the sport myself...saw a part of a game on TV and it did nothing for me...but a few years later I went to a game in person and I haven't missed a home Bandits game since -

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v234/The...hampionsqp5.gif The last world championship on Lake Erie was last year, actually...may not be one of the Big 4 leagues, but it IS a pro sport -
Most underrated receivers of all time
The_Philster replied to Tcali's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
actually, he was at WR most of 1995, starting 5 games including the two playoff games not a dumb response at all...he had the stats to make him a first ballot Hall of Famer but like so many lesser WRs, he's waiting a lot longer than he should have to -
Another Vick to Buffalo "expert opinion"
The_Philster replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills have already stated they have no interest in this scumbag. Hopefully, Goodell never reinstates this piece of crap -

A great Bills come back game long forgotten

Weakside OLB was manned by Darryl Talley...not Biscuit. Biscuit was on the strong side. The strongside LB is the one who lines up near the TE...which is where it gets the name strongside...from the strong side of the offensive formation. Truth be told, though, a typical defense flips their LBs based on where the TE lines up. Sometimes we'll see Mitchell, our current WLB, lined up on the defensive right and sometimes on the left...pretty much always away from the offense's TE...leaving the SLB (Crow, Ellison, whoever) lined up near the TE. Truthfully, I don't know that our LBs flipped like that in the Super Bowl years but it's been a while...can't be sure. -
2 things It's not feigned outrage...I'm not a heartless SOB with no conscience...he's a scumbag and the idea of him ever setting foot at the Ralph, even as a opponent, is sickening to any decent human being. Little kids had their best friends stolen, tortured, and slaughtered by this sicko...there's a lot of people who'd like to see him dead...some people have even brought up the fact that other psychos who've slaughtered people started out by slaughtering and torturing animals like he did. The word psychopath should have Vick's picture next to it in the dictionary. He put fans in the seats in the past...he'd have people boycotting games and staging protests after what he did. If Goodell has any common sense, he'll make a stand on this...no convicted felons
-
He's a convicted felon...he won't be coming to Buffalo, and that's per the Buffalo Bills, and if Goodell doesn't want to destroy his reputation as a commissioner who wants to clean up the league's image, he'll never reinstate this scumbag
-
1 I'm not talking about killing him....I fully support him earning an honest living...OUT OF THE PUBLIC EYE. I'm just communicating how sickened and pissed off people are about this scumbag 2 Maybe you should look places other than TBD and your Michael Vick and dogfighting fan boards. I'm seeing a lot of people saying they want him dead all over the internet (there's a lot more out there than TBD and your criminal-worship boards). Personally, I'd rather he suffer for the rest of his life for what he did (death is too good for him) but if he died, no big loss
-
something you seem to forget Mr Vick lover, it's not a right to play in the NFL...it's a huge privilege to play a game for millions of dollars. Vick is now a convicted felon and he doesn't deserve that kind of privilege ever again. If he ever comes back, it'll look extremely bad for the NFL. Making a living is one thing and even though I can't blame all the people who want him dead, I think everyone has a right to try to make a living...but not by making millions playing a game..no way, no how.

A few things....I'm not religious so don't throw the religious stuff in my face...and when you consider Vick is anything but a good Christian...it looks ridiculous Jim Kelly already spoke for himself and said he didn't want Vick here...and the Bills have already told some respected people in the media that they don't want him. Hell, they laughed at how ridiculous the idea of bringing him in here was to one reporter. Compassion? How much compassion did your scumbag hero show to the dogs that he tortured and slaughtered? How much compassion did he show to the people whose dogs he stole to torture and slaughter? He stole family pets...there are little kids who lost their best friends to this monster. Don't EVER talk like he deserves compassion after he showed no compassion and no remorse for all he did. The only thing that sicko regrets is having gotten caught. The name Michael Vick and the word compassion don't go together in the least. I have compassion for humanity...Michael Vick is an inhuman piece of trash who a lot of people would love to see dead for all his crimes. He's a convicted felon and there's a lot of people trying to let Goodell know what a rotten idea it would be to let this scumbag back in the NFL. that piece of Anyone who defends him is almost as sick as he is....he got a !@#$ing slap on the wrist for all he did..I don't think the prosecutors should've accepted the plea bargain....that dirtbag would still be getting his lovin from Bubba for many years to come. Oh, and don't forget...your hero was Mr Herpes boy giving out diseases left and right a few years before he got caught in the middle of a felony...and let's not forget the airport incident where they thought he had pot on him and he got scared (which meant he had something to hide). Best place for him is behind bars...certainly not on a football field in the public eye making millions...that's a privilege he is too much of a scumbag to ever deserve again
-
Kelly's of the same opinion as the Bills organization and every decent human being...HELL NO TO THE CONVICTED FELON!! Hopefully, that scumbag never gets reinstated...the NFL under Goodell has been trying to clean up its image with stiffer penalties...reinstating a convicted felon would be a black mark against the league And if you actually think we'd be a heavily watched team, watch out for the cops because whatever drugs you're on are probably illegal. Everytime someone brings up the stupid idea of bringing those piece of sh-- to Buffalo, there's a firestorm of people pissed off about even the thought of it. Thankfully, the Bills have come out and said they have no interest in this criminal

I think when you consider that dog-fighting is illegal itself, it's basic common sense to realize that gambling on dog fighting is illegal as well.

Farewell to Our Favorite (and Not-So-Favorite) TV Series
The_Philster replied to BillsWatch's topic in Off the Wall Archives
The only 2 I watched...don't care much for series TV (I only watch Bones, Dollhouse, Smallville, and Supernatural religiously) According to Jim was hilarious but I thought it lost a little when Dana left the show. Knight Rider was nowhere near as good as the original but I checked it out out of loyalty and hoped it would improve. It did, but too little, too late. The KARR storyline was a total joke, though -
You know...you might have a talk with your parents about why they didn't teach you what a sick character trait dishonesty is. I dare you to find one single post where anyone said anything remotely like that
-
rehabbed into society is fine (although he got a slap on the wrist...hardly punished)...but allowed to make millions of dollars for playing a game? Sorry...I don't think convicted criminals should get that kind of privilege. And that's another thing...to allow him back into the NFL would be a serious black mark against Goodell's whole goal of cleaning up the league. It'd be hard to take him seriously as a law-and-order type of commissioner if he reinstates a convicted felon. Whether you think it was a serious crime or not, the law is the law. He's a convicted felon...there's no way around that.

Is Vick really THAT bad?
The_Philster replied to SouthGeorgiaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a convicted felon...involved in organized criminal activity for over 6 years. He didn't make a mistake...he's a scumbag who knowingly and willfully broke the law and hurt people doing it (if you think pet owners weren't hurt by him stealing, torturing, and killing their dogs, you're not smart enough to understand anything). If Goodell lets him back in ever, the talk about cleaning up the league becomes just talk -
Punters have a job for a reason...because offenses get stopped often...doesn't have to be an amazing defense, just one that can stop someone
-
That's the only change that should be made. To all the people bitching that teams who win the coin toss seem to win too much, I have this to say. The other team should try playing defense...either on the kickoff by actually covering the kick (or even an onside kick) or by trying to actually stop the opposing offense. It's a team game and if your defense and special teams aren't contributing, you don't deserve to win

Other than calling Garcia a homo, what's TO done that we really know about? A lot of the stuff that he's done he claims the media created. Now, I personally thought he was full of it when he said that but then we ourselves saw the media make an issue out of how he got #81 here so I have to wonder now
