Yeah...it's definitely gonna be lacking something...plus it'll miss the surrounding experience of Lot 1...but the way Kenny talked, the fact that it's just preseason is the only reason he consented to it...moving the Pinto, that is. To do the whole thing right, they'd have to do it in the regular season in Lot 1...but then, Kenny's party would beat any other party without even trying
-
at least the induction...he had been saying he wasn't going to the game but maybe he's changed his mind
-
You didn't see him play if you think that. There were times he may as well have said Ole like a bullfighter when allowing sacks. He either didn't try or else he's just an awful player...considering he actually EARNED the Pro Bowl in 2007, I and many feel he just didn't try. Maybe you think he just sucks as a player There's plenty of times that I think about other things at work...but you'd be an idiot to think about anything but the job at hand during a high pressure time...could end up getting hurt...which is what happened thanks to Peters
-
If he was giving 100%, he would've been thinking about doing his job instead of his contract. It's not like we're talking downtime on the sidelines....he was out on the field charged with protecting the blindsides of Trent Edwards and JP Losman when he was thinking about his contract instead of what he needed to be thinking about. Plus, no one can say that Peters isn't a talented player...but when you see lackadaisical, lazy play, he's obviously not giving his all. He didn't need to come out and say specifically that he wasn't giving his all...just need a little common sense to see that he wasn't.

Just Finished Watching Quantum Of Solace.
The_Philster replied to Steely Dan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Well, I can't vote in the poll since I haven't seen every flick but I will say that I liked Brosnan's portrayal the best. Connery is usually the standard by which the others are judged but I grew up watching Moore as Bond...but I also grew up watching Pierce Brosnan as Remington Steele and felt Brosnan could do the character more justice than Moore...and I was right, IMO. As far as the Craig movies, I give the nod to Quantum Of Solace by default....because I didn't care for Casino Royale in the least -

if by chatting up, you mean working with and talking to, that's my job if you meant something else, they each have boyfriends, 2 of which I've already met...lol -
anything's possible...but they haven't made any announcements about doing so as of yet from what I've seen

Will you root for JP for Las Vegas?
The_Philster replied to JPicc2114's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to wonder why it is that people get labelled as aholes so easily....while he was hardly the most motivated player we ever had, he came across as a pretty nice guy to me. The morning of the 2002 Blizzard game, I had stayed at what is now the Millenium Hotel, where the Bills stay the night before home games. I was taking some stuff down to the car and walked with Big Mike out to the parking lot...maybe it's just me, but I don't see ahole when it comes to Mike Williams or Losman for that matter -

It did seem that registration line was moving really slow...I spent a good 20 minutes up near the head of the line taking photos and it hardly seemed like it moved the entire time I was there -

not that I'll pay much attention to the league but yeah, I hope he does well I met the guy and can say with 100% certainty that you're full of it with that post. As far as Vincent, he blew him up because he was a little cocky in the way he scrambled...he didn't slide...not because Troy thought the same stupid things you do -
Lot 1 Paving almost done
The_Philster replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just have to wonder how the pavement will affect how you drop the bowling ball...gonna be tricky trying to drop it so it doesn't roll -
why the hell isn't he up already?

Vick reinstated on conditional basis
The_Philster replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no kidding...it's bad enough he supports that scumbag (and he's a parent?)..and then he has to start threads with titles that are nothing more than lies. I think he just loves the attention...makes him feel important that he can piss off decent human beings -
You gotta love the flutie magic
The_Philster replied to downunderbill's topic in Off the Wall Archives
You know...when you bring up something totally off-topic to help prove your point, you prove you can't make your point at all. I never once said that Collins, AVP, or RJ were better than Flutie...talk about putting words in one's mouth...I never even brought any of them up. Flutie sucked on his own. Let me just clue you in on something...if one QB sucks, it doesn't automatically make another one good. Better start reading your own posts a little better. Flutie didn't lead us to the playoffs in 99..the defense did You're talking as if adding a guy like Flutie would magically make us win. I hate to break it to you, but we had great defenses when he was playing. Are you actually trying to say that the defenses were great because of the midget? There's a guy getting inducted into the Hall of Fame next weekend who had more to do with that than Flutie could ever have dreamed of being. -

yeah...cause literacy is a bad skill to have....the Bills are on the record as laughing at the idea -
Vick reinstated on conditional basis

won't happen...Ralph's against it and even if he's gone, Jim Kelly is against it Also, sticking someone who could cause a QB controversy on the team would be counterproductive. Jauron's trying to keep his job...not lose it -

oh brother...you're another one of those people who thinks the QB is the only one on the team #1 defense in the league in 1999...I never saw the midget play on that top-ranked defense -
no...if he had criticized officiating, it's one thing...but to make stupid comments like he did..if anything, Goodell might have a talk with him to let him know how stupid his comments are. Hopefully, his comments convince Goodell to ban Vick for life

apparently you've never had a lot to drink. Let me clue you in on something Wanna know why drinking and driving is illegal? It's because the alcohol dulls your alertness and thought processes. If it didn't, it wouldn't be an issue. But here's the kicker..the slowed thought processes don't start once you get in the car and start driving...they start when you're still drinking. So if you're insinuating that people who drive drunk do so intentionally (and to do something without intent is called an accident (a little refresher for the slow)), you don't have a clue about what alcohol does to the system
