Favorite Monty Python Sketch On Youtube!

How on Earth has this been left out so far? -
wasn't on the sidelines and no isn't traveling....he's getting treatment on it right now
-
yep...fixed He wasn't forced to the MLB position, though...our starting lineup at LB after we switched to the 4-3 was Paup-Holocek-Rogers. He may have played some inside backer in Green Bay before we got him...I recall he played DE and OLB there...can't recall if he played inside there at all, though.
-
I'd still give the edge to the mid-90s D-line. The 4-3 line of the 60s a close 2nd Talley was an OLB as well...on the weak side behind BRUCE at ROLB Haslett and Nelson were a solid tandem in the late 70s and early 80s Harry Jacobs was a smart, steady force in the middle in the 60s
-
Paup wasn't in the middle...he was the SOLB in the 3-4 defense we employed. When we switched to a 4-3 midway through 97 due to the fact that both our starting ILBs went down with injuries in one week, Paup disappeared...he wasn't much for coverage, something required of a SLB in a 4-3 scheme Hansen-Washington-BRUCE...our best D-line ever

T.O. to miss 2nd straight preseason game

ditto...we don't need him making it worse and then jeopardizing his availability for the season opener against the Cheatriots -
apparently some people haven't gotten their fill of looking at gruesome car accidents...

Why are people protesting Mike Vick?
The_Philster replied to Major Mud's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No one puts animals above human...the Vick worshippers show their lack of integrity as well as their lack of common sense by accusing people of that. couldn't agree more Goodell really dropped the ball by reinstating him the people who try to put race into everything are the true racists yep...and the Vick-lovers would let Vick start killing homeless kids before they would punish him. -
If the Bills leave one day for another city
The_Philster replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I might follow the Browns or the Packers from a distance, but the NFL would never get another dime from me -
it wasn't a defense of it...it was merely an explanation of the Bills' stance in leaving it up there...they have been asked about why it's up there still in the past and that was their reasoning.

Why are people protesting Mike Vick?

couldn't agree more...especially on that last part. Stallworth made a mistake. Little..well, the 1st time, I could call it a mistake to an extent but not the 2nd DUI. Vick was a premeditated killer...that's not a mistake...that's a sociopathic tendency. Serial killers started out the way he did. Who's to say that if he hadn't finally been stopped, he wouldn't be throwing homeless children and young runaways into the ring like he did those helpless animals? People (sick as they are) seem to like to make the assertion that "they're only dogs." Do these same people feel it'd be better to wait until he starts killing humans? -
Personally, I'm not a fan of him being up there...despite all the greatness he achieved on the field, the thing that will always stand out is the double murder...but I can understand the Bills' reasoning for not taking him down. Right or wrong, the NFL doesn't take character into account when it comes to the Hall and I can understand the Bills following suit. I remember there being a lot of controversy about Lawrence Taylor and his rampant drug use when he became eligible for the Hall, too. Thing I'm worried about now is this...what if Vick has a great 2nd career and he gets elected to the HOF? People aren't going to forget his crimes and HOF weekend would end up being ugly....so besides the fact he doesn't deserve success, IMO...I hope he falls flat on his face so that he never even gets a sniff of being immortalized in that Hallowed Hall. Sometimes I wish that the Pro Football Hall of Fame would take character into account just a little
-
You know what the most disgusting character trait is? It's dishonesty...you look pretty foolish as well as like a !@#$ing liar accusing me of saying something I clearly never said. dishonesty is sickening....must be rough having parents who never taught you right from wrong

if it makes you feel any better, she's happily married as well

Chris Collinsworth, A good replacement for Madden?
The_Philster replied to DCbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
just about anything is better than long-winded Madden -
He went up there long before the murders. The Bills have said for years that they follow the example of the HOF when it comes to the Wall...it's not like he's playing these days, anyway. Even if he were at the age where he could play (and wasn't currently in prison on other charges), no one would sign him...you're comparing apples and oranges.

No one has ever said they value a dog's life over a human life, either. I've been seeing that kind of statement for months and not once has anyone ever said they were placing an animal's life over a human's life. It's all about intent...someone who intentionally commits vicious crimes for 6 years is easily a worse person than someone who accidentally takes a life. As far as Little, I can't believe he was stupid enough to get behind the wheel while under the influence after having already taken a life due to drunk driving. Stallworth is getting off easier in the court of public opinion for 2 reasons..1...he did everything right immediately following the accident and 2...the victim wasn't without blame. Quite frankly, there are a lot of professions that won't hire a convicted felon....the NFL needs to be one of those professions. I thought Goodell was doing a great job as commissioner until he reinstated Vick...now, I just can't take him seriously when he talks about cleaning up the league. I agree..I doubt there are many people who haven't driven when they probably shouldn't have. I know I got checked at one of those sobriety checkpoints once and was just under the limit...so I was very likely at or just over the limit when I got in the car Bingo....the topic is Vick...saying that people aren't disgusted by the actions of other players because they're not talking about them is rather idiotic if those other players aren't part of the discussion

Some people would sign Charles Manson if they thought he could throw a football...since he can't, they hitched their wagon to the closest thing
-
He'll end up playing there..don't forget, Peters is protecting McNabb's blind side

[closed]Rumor: Vick visited Buffalo
The_Philster replied to Mopreme's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What's funny is that a lot of the same guys clamoring for this scumbag were all too happy to run Losman out of town...pretty much the same QB. Sounds like a case of either short memory or a hatred of simple decency
