As great a GM as Polian has been, he's also had a bad temper and I dare you to find one employer who will keep you on if you start a fight with someone who's higher up in the organization than you (Polian also had problems with Littman...and Ralph values Littman higher than the GM) I don't give a crap how great you are at your job...if you start fights with higher-ups, you'll lose your job. As much as it sucks than Polian was fired, he was far from blameless

Couple of corrections to make SABAN was NEVER FIRED BY THE BILLS! Every Bills fan knows he quit on his own both times Also, Butler refused to negotiate a new contract with Ralph and there was speculation at the time that he had already talked to the Chargers while under contract to the Bills. As far as why he was inducted into the HOF, apparently you slept through the inductions...because the NFL wouldn't be the top sports league in the world were it not for Ralph's contributions, many of which were brought up when he was inducted.

I'll be interested to see if they do some practice in the snow for a change...like every other Bills coach used to do No doubt....I'd much rather them take it extra cautious with him in preseason if it helps him in the regular season. It's not like we're talking about some guy who needs the work. He and Trent may not have the chemistry of Kelly and Reed, but they do seem to be on the same page.
