  1. hindsight is 20-20...we actually had a RB coming off a solid rookie season so we wouldn't have drafted a RB with that pick, anyway. No one knew Bishop Harris would totally !@#$ up Antowain's running style the way he did in 98 and 99
  2. that was a regular season game actually and a lot of teams were said to be looking at trading for him as a result of his performance. We just happened to "win" that sweepstakes
  3. yeah...the one stupid enough to stick to a 2-TE base set with Lonnie Johnson, Tony Cline, Robert Coons, and a raw Jay Riemersma as the 4 TEs on the roster. He may have improved and learned to stop trying to fir square pegs into round holes after he left, but he was an idiot here
  4. sorry...but all it was was an insult a child would throw out. TO may say that the media created a lot of the controversy that he's been involved in (and so far, any controversy here in Buffalo has been media-created so he might be partially right) but TO was simply being immature and childish in those days with San Fran Either way you look at it, bringing in Garcia would do more to create a circus than it would to produce any wins for the team
  5. Not me....course, I was drinking on Ralph's tab a little over 10 years ago but then I guess that makes me biased
  6. yeah...that'll work out great...anyone remember how he got called a homo, even though he married a Playboy Playmate of the Year? Who was it that called him that?
  7. just standard text messaging rates
  8. found Pablo http://mypict.me/show.php?id=xGCe
  9. basically, he's in charge of breaking down game film of the team's offense and the opposing defense of the upcoming opponent
  10. Pablo is MIA, though http://twitter.com/terrellowens/status/3757426117
  11. Fold it. It's not like it's an actual card like the one we've been carrying
  12. Thing is, it used to be that the cards were good til the end of March or April before you needed a new sticker. This year, they were good til the end of August. I'm wondering if they're cheaping out and only giving us the discount during the season...it's good when we get our season tix until late in the playoffs
  13. actually, I think I heard that jerseys aren't included in that..
  14. 10% discount http://www.buffalobills.com/tickets/value-card/index.html
  15. only valid through 1/31/2010, though? WTF
  16. anyone who doesn't know why should really forfeit their fandom
  17. well, he'd look pretty solid starting alongside Stroud considering he's KC's starting NT and has been pretty solid there, from what little I've heard
  18. You mean the coach that essentially quit twice? First he said publicly we were out of the playoff race...just prior to a MNF game against the Colts, who we were tied with...and ENDED UP MAKING THE PLAYOFFS! Then, he quit the team rather than fire Ronnie Jones, the biggest screw-up Special Teams Coach around. Ralph told him to fire him or get lost. Did Wade actually think Ralph would keep Jones if Wade left? And we won't even get into how badly he kept that kept that QB controversy going as long as he did
  19. As great a GM as Polian has been, he's also had a bad temper and I dare you to find one employer who will keep you on if you start a fight with someone who's higher up in the organization than you (Polian also had problems with Littman...and Ralph values Littman higher than the GM) I don't give a crap how great you are at your job...if you start fights with higher-ups, you'll lose your job. As much as it sucks than Polian was fired, he was far from blameless
  20. pot meet kettle
  21. Couple of corrections to make SABAN was NEVER FIRED BY THE BILLS! Every Bills fan knows he quit on his own both times Also, Butler refused to negotiate a new contract with Ralph and there was speculation at the time that he had already talked to the Chargers while under contract to the Bills. As far as why he was inducted into the HOF, apparently you slept through the inductions...because the NFL wouldn't be the top sports league in the world were it not for Ralph's contributions, many of which were brought up when he was inducted.
  22. don't confuse the classless haters with facts
  23. and impressed...Jauron FINALLY wants to get the team used to playing in the elements? I'll be interested to see if they do some practice in the snow for a change...like every other Bills coach used to do No doubt....I'd much rather them take it extra cautious with him in preseason if it helps him in the regular season. It's not like we're talking about some guy who needs the work. He and Trent may not have the chemistry of Kelly and Reed, but they do seem to be on the same page.
  24. No doubt Thankfully, the Bills fans who showed up at Niagara Square when greeting the team after their return from Tampa had more class and intelligence than any loser who has a grudge against Scott for something that wasn't his fault. 47 yards is no gimme, especially on grass and for a kicker not known for a strong leg.
