Sal P says the Bills don't want Vick
The_Philster replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't say Trent...whoever's reading to you lied about what I said.....and I didn't say he was the same as JP, either...JP's more accurate...and he's also doesn't have this addiction to being a scumbag....giving girls herpes, trying to sneak marijuana through an airport, 6 years of vicious torture and slaughter, stealing family pets from little kids to torture and slaughter. There's a special place in hell for Vick But I stand by the points that Vick and Losman both have strong arms and are mobile Vick and Losman both have trouble reading defenses....those are undeniable facts If you're gonna keep attacking me, man up and do it to my face instead of from behind a keyboard ...that is, if you ever make parole -

What I said about Vick is 100% the truth...not ridiculous in the least. If you can't handle people who don't worship Vick like you do, maybe you should take a break from society...because not everyone agrees on everything in the adult world...but you know what, most of us can handle it without the need to resort to name-calling, which you were doing from the start, contrary to the lies you're trying to spread. But if you wanna keep up with the name-calling and harassment, go right ahead...more evidence for the prosecutors to have you in jail for internet harassment -

it's fine...just proves what type of people love to root for people of Vick's ilk -
people who scream racism are usually the biggest racists themselves While it's true that racism does still exist, it's not anywhere near the factor that some fools want to claim it is

Most people aren't in favor of ANY POS people playing in the NFL...as far as being in favor of Vick being here if he weren't a scumbag? There's enough people that actually know football that would still be against it. His style of play is a lot like another #7...who plays for the Raiders now...and fans couldn't wait to see him (JP Losman) go...strong arm and mobile...just like JP...but poor at reading defenses and an inaccurate passer...like JP....oh wait, Losman was generally a more accurate passer. So Vick lovers actually want a QB who's worse than our last starting QB before Trent? unreal...he's all hype As far as punishment, he served a light sentence for his crimes...and considering he still isn't remorseful about them (he has the audacity to say "It's unfortunate this happened to me" to portray himself as a victim, he got off way too easy. And under no circumstances should any convicted felon be allowed to play a game for millions of dollars...Goodell dropped the ball bigtime when he reinstated that piece of garbage -

thankfully, you're in the minority and the Bills don't share your feelings -

Roscoe's being kept because he's still under contract...Josh's contract ran out...simple as that. But I hate this news...even more than the news that the Bills decided not to keep him. Out of TO, Denney, and Reed, I thought Josh would've been the one to change their minds on

Wasn't Ralph giving the team to his wife?

As I recall, Jim and Thurman were talking about something happening on January 15...but nothing ever happened -

Inheritance taxes don't apply to spouses actually, the rumor came from someone who works at 97Rock...it was overheard at Ryan Miller's Catwalk for Charity 2 years ago and Kelly does know someone with plenty of money -
I must confess I had one...it involved Richie Incognito laying a few cheap shots on him in our first game against the Pats with Incognito on the roster

NFL may change overtime rules for playoffs - Thank God!
The_Philster replied to bbb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ditto on that...it's supposed to be a team game....OT games aren't won by the coin toss no matter what any moron tries to claim. If you lose the toss and the other team scores on you, you deserved to lose...your defense should've done its job...or maybe you should've kicked an onside kick or forced a fumble on the return. Green Bay-Arizona...was a shoot-out that went to OT. Neither defense was doing much of anything so when the Packers won the toss, people thought that was it. Peter King even tweeted that he was gonna bitchy about the OT format...then the Cards won on a defensive play...still waiting for him to tell me how that crow tasted -
Last year of NFL in Buffalo???????????
The_Philster replied to sharper802's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's the key right there...the Bills are a solid purchase right now with no debt because of the stadium lease and with no issues selling out regular seating. If we can do more to sell the luxury seating, it'll make the team staying in Buffalo an even more attractive investment. However, if we start to have issues selling out games and the premium seating issue gets any worse, Jim's primary backer could back out -

The_Philster replied to sharper802's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the rumor came out 2 years ago that it was the way it was going down...Kelly's talked pretty confident that the Bills would stay so it makes it seem likely. The only wild card I see in the mix is how long Kelly's major backer holds onto his interest in doing this...until it happens, though...we need to keep supporting the team...if we start having blackouts, that could cause Kelly's backer to lose interest in the project -

sorry to disappoint, but the Bills have a plan in place to keep them in Buffalo as far as Ralph selling it, he'd be foolish to do so...a double hit on taxes Only smart thing to do is leave the team to Mary (spouse won't have to pay an estate tax) and then she sells the team to Kelly's group..which is exactly what will happen -
Marv - worst GM in history of NFL?
The_Philster replied to sharper802's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Considering the only major decision that Marv made was on Jauron...player moves were something he had little input on...it was Guy and Modrak making the suggestions and Jauron making the final call...I don't think he even merits mention as a GM. He was mostly a figurehead, brought in to fix the PR nightmare that Donahoe created -

If you're on Twitter, I dare you to ask Darryl Talley about Bullough...LOL...he had some choice words about him a couple months ago -
hate to break this to you, but football is a team sport...no player, no matter the position, wins or loses on his own..you seem to be thinking football is like tennis...your so-called truism is not only ridiculously ignorant, it's also insulting to the other players on the team.

I think that will be our line-up as well Levitre, while doing ok at LT when he filled in this year, is not an NFL-level tackle for one big reason...wingspan. Tackles in the NFL need long arms for working in space...Levitre's are better suited for playing G Hangartner will be our C the next few years at least. Unless his play declines a lot, they won't dump him for Wood for a while. We only just signed him last season. The only question I see is with Bell..he could end up being LT, RT, or swing tackle...he has the athleticism for either starting spot but the mental lapses he suffered in 2009 were troublesome at best. I think he'll end up being our RT if he puts in all the offseason work to improve with the new coaching staff
