Well I’ve been to the mountain and seen the promised land, It’s C.J.Spiller with ball in his hand. Go, Go, C.J. Go, Go C.J. Put the call out on the 911 wire, Cause the Patriots “D” was burned like fire. What arsonist lit them up like toast? It was Spiller, the man with the most Go, Go, C.J. Go, Go C.J. Look at those pipes! Is it Godzilla? Nope, just our very own C.J. Spilla’. Look at those moves! Is it James Brown? Nope, C.J. Spiller just got another touchdown! Go, Go, C.J. Go, Go C.J. Just like Thurman, Spiller will always come through. With him there is no “try”, only “do”. Go, Go, C.J. Go, Go,C.J. Well I’ve been to the mountain and seen the promised land, It’s C.J.Spiller with ball in his hand. With the runnin’ game goin’, And the Fitzy unwind, The Super Bowl is just a matter of time! Well I’ve been to the mountain and seen the promised land, It’s C.J.Spiller with the Lombardi in his hand.

Even the delusional optimist in me can't figure this one out.

Great Game!!!!! 1.Bills cover spread! 2. Passing game looks very competitive. Who seriously has a problem with 2 picks? Fitz brought the tude-the rust will be gone by next week. 3. Running game looks very compeitive-134 yards with 5.6ave. This supposedly 0-16 team has a good shot at 8&8; playoffs next year!

I'm going to make so much coin on this game! How could you not take the Bills? Great drive O!

Just like those mutual fund warnings: Past performance does not guarantee future results. Go Bills!!!!

In addition to a "small" wager, I have also taken the day off Monday. No way my BAC will be safe to operate maachinery until at least Tuesday.

My crazy, psychic Aunt (Oswego Occultist) has had one of her pregame premonitions-Bills win Sunday!

The Bills are being laughed at off the field too

Way ahead of you on that advice-especially after my crazed, psychic Aunt (Oswego Occultist) called me about her premonition. -

Why this type of doom and gloom? The Pack is much better than NE this year, and we should move the ball better with Fitz. IMHO I think we have a shot this week. Moreover, I gaurantee the game will be decided by two scores or less! -

The laughing will stop Sunday! With Fitz in, both our running game and passing game will make dramatic improvements. I'm starting a good, good feeling! -
Serious question - What if the Bills leave town?
Oswego Optimist replied to beggar13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, I for one know exactly what will happen if-and that is a huge if-the Bills ever leave town. In my world, time will cease to be a linear phenomena. Instead, time will become a cyclical replay of my life as a Bills fan from 1978-2010. The cycle will begin with me randomly selecting a tape from my vast archive of past Bills games on VHS. In my mind, the year will immediately revert to the month and day of the tape I draw. So, if I pick Oct 28, 1990 that's where my season starts. Of course, to truly escape the trauma I will need to completely revert to the time period in question. Thus, I will use lingo of the target year, dress in the styles of the target year, refer to news stories of the target year, and engage in any sports conversation based on the reality of the Bills in the target year. My loving family will, at first, help with the deception. I can see Sundays now with Oswego Old Man (Dad), Oswego Outlaw (Brother) and Oswego OTR (trucker Neighbor) with our LaBatts, wings, and archaic jerseys from yesteryear proudly donned. Yes at first they will think the whole scenario is cool.....until they realize I have made a complete psychotic break and can no longer distinguish fantasy from reality. Then they will refuse to participate; however, since the ritual would be incomplete without them, I will assume the roles of all game day friends and family, including Oswego Old Timer (deceased Grandpa). In the end, I will be forced to leave my trade and exist on disability. Parents and children alike will shudder as my unshaven, unabathed, unkempt shell wanders around town asking, "Will this finally be the year?" -
10 things I would love to see this week

B.S.! This team is capable of 5-6 wins *if* they follow the three "P's"-Passion,Play Calling, and Performance! Sunday's prediction: Bills: 23 Effete Cheaters from Hell: 20 -
Since when it is acceptable to tea bag on the field?

I would pay anything to see that kind of attitude on the Bills. You are ablsolutely right: trying to injure a guy is way different than trying to hurt a guy. I hope somebody brings he pain to the Pansies this Sun!!!!!!!!!! -

The Pack's laughter was merely a nervous release; they sure weren't laughing at the half! -

Fair enough. I do think the Bills have a real good shot at winning Sunday, but I wouldn't bet the farm without the points. Thanks WNY. I am a true optimist, but feel free to correct me if I ever cross over to Delusionalville. -

The spread this week boarders on obscene. There is little reason to think the Bills won't cover. -

O.K., I am l a long-time lurker, first-time poster. Here goes: I think that Fitz at QB will improve our play in several areas. First, we should be able to actually get a verticle passing game. This will get us into more manageable yardage situations on 2nd and 3rd down. Also, with a credible passing threat we can spread out the opposing "D" more which helps our run game-a real potential strong suit given the talent at that position. Fitz also contributes to better yardage and field position by his ability to scramble and avoid sacks- a talent that Trent obviously lacks. Lastly, Fitz helps our "D" with getting better field position and reducing opponents time on the field. Seriously, our DB's were awesome against Green Bay; Rogers just had too many chances to make things happen. Look, I know we are not great, but I seriously think with a QB capable of some type-any type-of verticle game and some inspired play calling we could be a 6-7 win team. It is so important to get this team thinking and acting like winners. I look forward to a BIG Bills win this week!
