Well be prepared for a low scoring game....
The Pats are in tough shape on O too. Two starting WRs out, and in tough shape at RB.
-
It would be great to have Sanders this week, especially since Cole is out.
-
In many games I see bad calls against both teams, so whatever. In this game the bad calls/no calls never benefited the Bills.
-
Great analysis!!
Seems a lot of OL need some years under their belts to play their best ball.

The NFL will look like a joke if a suspension is any less than season ending...

Davis is buried on a very good WR group.
Th think there is a rookie DE that should get stud talk, he is tied for first in sacks....
-
We will have a preview before the playoffs....

If Diggs gets hurt, it will be a good thing that we have him.

Orton should automatically be disqualified from any mention just for this play alone...
How fitting, Fitzs stat line is on bottom of the screen 13 of 16 with a rushing TD...

I disagree. Orton wasn’t the problem that year. The Bills defense failed in Oakland which is what screwed their season
Never started a game for the Bills
Billy Joe never started a game for the Bills. They released him before it got to that point
Orton my not have been the problem but Fitz was better. Orton had no mobility, could not extend plays in the pocket, gain yards down field with his legs, and they had to alter the run game because Orton was not quick enough to get from behind center to hand the ball off on some plays.
-
Fitz would have gotten the Bills to the playoffs in the Orton year imo......

I saw Brown on a few occasions doing real good stuff. I real liked when I saw him down field blocking, his superior athleticism was noticed. Great to see he got some real game reps, and the future is looking bright.

I think Bill was more important....
If the Pats had Brett and Aaron over the same time I think they still win 6 rings.
If Brady was with the Pack does he still get 6?
I get that Tom won one with the Bucks. But, Winston threw for over 5000 yards the year before. When Tom came so did some more great weapons. Bill winning 7 games with the roster he had and Cam is actually impressive.
Tom has been great for a long time, but Bills' building the organization/team and the game plans are of greater value imo.
-
Moss got more carries against the WFT so he was the lead back imo
-
With the defensive fronts Pitt was using, they need to run the ball. I felt that they were being challenged to run, and they passed twice as much as running.
I get that Pitt is a good team, but when the opposing D challenges you to do something you need to make them pay. The bills averaged 4.7 per rush so why all the passing?
Not a good sign when the top RB only had 2 more runs than the QB.
If the Bills are to beat the better teams the Offensive game planning needs to be better.

I heard an interview with either coach or GM and said it was a numbers game and wanted to keep more guys at other positions. Also said they expect him to be signed on another team soon.

Ah, back in my day some kid rookie named Josh Allen was declared a bust and the worst pick in Bills history for performances like that. Had to walk uphill in the snow both ways to watch the games too.
Big difference, Josh was a raw prospect coming into the league. On top of that his preseason training was not to get him on the field as a rookie.
And the bigger point is that the Bills did not get rid of a good QB to bring him in.
-
Fields was 9 of 19, yes he is a rookie so not a reason for alarm.
The Bears brass looked incompetent for letting Mitch go tho....
-
The good news is that the Pegula’s spent some money to grease the political wheels, they would not have done that if they wanted to move the team.....

Why not? Because you generally only keep 5-6 WR's at a time. I've seen us carry 7 once or twice, but it's not very common. Plus, this season everyone wants us to keep a 6th Defensive End and a 6th Cornerback as well. And you can't keep an extra guy at all these positions without severely hindering the 53 at depth in a number of places to make it happen.
So long story short, which two players do you cut at WR when your roster looks like this?
Stefon Diggs
Cole Beasley
Emmanuel Sanders
Gabe Davis
Isaiah McKenzie
Marquez Stevenson (2021 Draft Pick)
Isaiah Hodgins (2020 Draft Pick)
Jake Kumerow
I'm a Kumerow fan. But we're so deep, it's really uphill sledding for him.
I bet if stevenson ***** good he gets the redshirt IR spot for the year.

I think it will be more of a RB by committee deal this year.
-
Could be a cool jumbo package.
-
Maybe a good year to trade away later picks to move up early.
No need to draft 5th and 6th rounders that wont make the team...

Star only needs to do his 1/11th for the D.
Star back at practice - 12/29

Some pretty sad football fans that act like the Bills are better off without him than with him....
