330 down to 315,310?? and all the sudden he will get pushed around??
-
with the d-line rotation average ILBs will look great!!!
-
Tom Brady better call in sick!!
-
And Tom Brady was drafted in what round???? Get a life
-
Last year they only had 2 reserve OL. Chan or Buddy said the would have a swing tackle and the reserve interior guy would have to play both G and C. What do you guys know that your not telling us about the OL.

Nothing like competition for a roster spot.
-
To say who is going to start at this point is crazy. The coaches dont know who is starting yet. All jobs will be an open competition.
-
o-lines are going to have fun next year with him, KW and Mario.
-
If something happens to Fitz, VY gives us a better chance than pigpen or whoever he is.

The Bills had six players who will make big dollars but might only be backups (Kelsay, Merriman, Edwards, Spencer Johnson, McGee, and Florence) I expected at least three to be let go this year- McGee got himself an extra year by redoing his contract. So expect at least two more big cuts.
BIG DOLLARS!!! lol not thinking that any of the guys you listed are making the big bucks. In todays NFL 3-4 million a year is far from big bucks.

I think both him and Batten are gone, and are replaced with draft picks.

.
[*]Too few QBs and OTs. Over the past 40 years, the Bills have used 50% of their first picks of the draft on RBs and DBs. None have been used on QBs, and only 5% on OTs.
Not true
I can think of one Qb the bills drafted in round one.
And another that they traded a 1st round pick to get.

Good thing David nelson is 6 5

Not all reports are bad
General manager Buddy Nix also found value on Day 3. Adding two solid offensive linemen was an absolute must; Zebrie Sanders (Florida State) cost them just a fifth-round pick despite having the physical attributes to become a starter, and Oregon’s Mark Asper is a tough and underrated agile guard who adds great depth. Getting good, young linebackers Nigel Bradham (Florida State, fourth) and Tank Carder (TCU, fifth), and a starting nickel back in Ron Brooks (LSU, fourth) also added strength to the back seven.

I dont think that 10 O-line make the 53 list.

Its fun to try and guess what they are going to do. I billive that buddy will make a good decision. That said there is no sure thing in the draft.

3 best CB in the draft at # 10???

Stacher's QB smashers

Hairston actually has several NFL starts and didnt look bad, and should be better in year 2 with a real off season. It would suck if they bring in a OT at # 10 pick that is not a special talent!
-
Last year didnt look to bad at 6 and 2 until the injury bug hit. Now, with a real pass rush that we have now have and a healthy KW the rest of the defense will look much better.
BTW, the team that won the super bowl only had 9 wins!!!

If Sheppard improves--which he should, the Defense could be elite.
Our DB's are good enough, and will only get better with the improved D line play.
The big question is the Linebacker play. Sheppard should only get better, Barnett and Morrison provide solid experiences and depth, Merriman is a wild card--X Factor, Scott is an under-rated asset, and I strongly suspect the BIlls may draft a LB in the 10 spot or sign a capable Free Agent to add depth.
The only disappointment has been that the younger guys Nix drafted (Moats, Batton, White, etc) have not really panned out--but maybe with another year and a better line, just maybe, we'll see real improvement this year. Anyhow, if the LBs improves, yes, it could be an elite defense, in my opinion!
Moats, Batton, White all 6th round picks what do you expect.

Look for hairston to be much improved, last years lockout prevented him form getting the offseason work a rookie really needs.
My GUESS/WANTS are they draft a high round(1st or 2nd)for depth and competition and a later round for practice squad development and emergency.

Because the Eagles realize the true value of a competent LT, and are willing got pay to get it. Not sure the Bills get that yet?
Don't forget that the Eagles didn't get Peters for free. We got a 1st that turned into Wood and two other picks, so I would say that we didn't loose the thing there. Now to pay bell the 7 mill that the eagles did would mean we wouldn't be able to add the second pass rusher or re-up Jackson. Thats a no brainer, Bell didnt look much/any better than Hairston. Now consider that Bell was a 4 year veteran and Hairston was a rookie with out a full off-season due to the lockout. To OVERPAY an unproven guy makes no cents at all regardless of the position they play.

Nix is a straight shooter all the way!! Anyone who thinks otherwise is clueless.
