  1. Cut him for what upside, the team is not in cap trouble and they dont have 2 other great future QBs to develop. He provides depth at WR, a very good special teamer. Cut him to have another guy standing on the sideline, or keep him and have a guy that contributes in every single game.
  2. Could his salary and cap space be used to help resign Levirte and Byrd this year?
  3. good call on the WRs the guys that are the last 2 or 3 are nothing special. OK if he stays who goes? Tank?? dont think they will keep more than 25 on defense
  4. last year they only had 2 reserve ol dress for the game. Remove a WR and add a OL, who is the next WR out? I am nuts, but with with 25 on defense someone has to go. I would assume that some the the draft picks will be on the PS. If you have him making it who gets cut in his place? Again I dont feel I have a special knowledge on who makes the team, but started this thread because I thought it was amazing on how many guys need to be cut.
  5. Done Merriman out and Carrington in. Offence 24 make the roster POS First Second Third Other QB Ryan Fitzpatrick Tyler Thigpen Vince Young Brad Smith RB Fred Jackson C.J. 6. Not saying that I can predict the roster but interesting on who could get cut. Starting with the depth chart as of today, cuts in Red. 7. Dont think the kept 9 OL last year.
  8. Very well said. The past 2 years the Bills did not have anyone who resembled a real pass rusher!! He is a solid player on the field, not a superstar but very solid. Not a super pass rusher but does play the run very well!! Its funny because many people act like he is receiving Mario/peppers/Freeney money when is actually he is making 1/3 of what they are. Not to mention that the Bills have not been even close to the salary cap since they signed him to the extension. Here is what Buddy said "The thing you don't want to do is take your core guys and your leaders out of your system," Bills general manager Buddy Nix said Thursday, the first time he commented on Kelsay's extension. "We decided, obviously, that we've got four, five or six guys like that. They maybe are not great players, but good players that set the tone for what you want everybody else to be. "Chris Kelsay is a good player. He exemplifies what we want players to do and how we want them to be. So that's the reason he's here."
  9. Is Dotson eligible to be on the practice squad?? The undrafted rookie would be.. I think we know what DEs will be on the roster, but we should have 1 on the PS.
  10. With the improvements made to the defense fitz is already much better. He will not be playing from behind, plus he will be getting more opportunities in every game in better field position.
  11. So you only go to the game because you want to be assured to watch the game? I will throw the BS flag on that!! I typically go to a few games a year and dont do it to just see the game. I do it for the experience of seeing a game in person, may people dont understand that. But, you being a season ticket holder I bet you would NOT be content watching the game from the couch. Where are your seats?? might be a good deal for me. Try to buy single game tickets, so where you get to sit.
  12. Opinions will vary and I am ok with that. Take a look at CURRENT stadium capacities and draw your own conclusion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_National_Football_League_stadiums New York state tax dollars are going to a privet business period. To show or not to show the game on TV biased on ticket sales, makes no sense to me. Many people in the "tax district" may not have the health to sit in the cold or the money to buy the tickets and parking, might have to work part of day etc, etc. As far as the season ticket holders feeling that they are somehow bigger supporters dollars wise is just stupid. Its my understanding that much more profit comes from TV money than stadium money. Am I wrong.
  13. The black out is BS when you think about how much of out tax dollars go into stadium maintenance and upgrades. The SMALL MARKET stuff is a bunch of crap too!!! If the Bills are a small market they should have a SMALL stadium to match. At 73,000 seats its 10,000 seats bigger than the smallest 6-7 stadiums. I live on the east side of Rochester and for me to go to a game its an 11-12 hour deal, not to mention the additional 3 hours of driving a person in Syracuse would have. Not always a reasonable for us family guys to do. Also consider amount of who cares games that have been played in the back half of the season and the typical WEATHER that is in December. If the Bills dont lower the blackout to 90% of capacity (which would sell out several other stadiums) it is a slap in the face to the loyal fans who have who have stuck with this team through a lot of crap years.
  14.  He is their Super Mario
  15. I agree with the winning attitude but not with the "win now" thing. I dont think that they mortgaged the clubs future for the short term. They have brought in only 1 big free agent, but resigned key people and made wise pick-ups. I like what they have done so far and believe that the we be successful enough to stick around to build the team even stronger. Best 1/2 punch yes!!!
  16. Posters should do some fact checking before typing, a lot of BS. here # 3 & 4 The bills were 11 in redzone TDs percentage so redzone performance was a team strength not a weakness. #6 so Fred jackson doesn't count as a play-maker. Really #8 so it was the lack of leadership that caused the slide after injuries and not the lack of talent interesting #10 (the first # 10) I bet Chan was clear on what he was trying to do. 2 halfbacks on the field is not a every down package its a special. Not to mention when the WRs were all injured spiller was playing WR. Chan explained whey Smith was not used often as a wildcat several times, not to mention he was forced to play WR due to injuries. If the staff thought they had a better chance to win with Thigpen, Fitz would have been on the bench.
  17. funny how a guy picked 40 something is to be a top 10 player. I guess most teams dont know how to draft.
  18. Building a football team by bringing in guys that can block and tackle is timeless....
  19. I say use some of the cap money this year to re-up Andy to lessen the cap hit in future years.
  20. I believe that the Bills are 7 mill under the cap this year, so it would make sense to re-up some guys this year. By getting a player more money this year it could make the future years a little more cap friendly.
  21. Ralf is cheep 7 mill under the cap....
  22. 330 down to 315,310?? and all the sudden he will get pushed around??
  23. with the d-line rotation average ILBs will look great!!!
  24. Tom Brady better call in sick!!
