Is Rex that dumb to let his QB sit back in the pocket and take hits. I think not. Jets will run a lot and throw quick passes. The only way he will try to go down field is if they are down 2 or more scores.

I believe the TJ trade was for 2 picks next year not one, but a QB like TJ is well worth 2 late round picks anyway, so good deal Smith is not a QB just listed that way to play roster games. He is a WR. So we still only have the normal amount of QBs Kept a kick off specialist not a return guy. Still a break even because if they cut the kicker they would have needed to keep a coverage specialist, who yes you have been a WR but not a good one. Plus side we could have the BEST kickoff guy in the league our kicker of the future, and a long field goal guy. The DBs that are hurt, yea so that happens in the league and these guys should not be cut. Who care about Sanders he was not 1 of the top 4 OT anyway he can try again next year. Are you saying he is not hurt? does not make sense. BTW he was a 5 round pick 5th and 6th round picks didnt make the team. They kept all the OL and LBs that was expected. To use another player to determine if Graham is a reach or not is pointless!! At this point it looks as if Graham will not only make the team but will also contribute. So, if Graham can contribute and his speed stretches defenses he is not a reach in the 3rd, he was a GREAT pick!!

Great move by the FO!! If they thought TT was a capable backup VY would not have been brought in. After seeing VY play if they didnt do something then we would know that Buddy is asleep at the wheel.

Crazy to say why didnt they draft Aaron Hernandez he was taken in the 4th round!! So, every team passed on him 3 times and some 4 times. If the Pats thought he would have turned out so good do you think they would have waited? Not to mention if most other teams had taken him he may not be a star. When they took Troup they were in desperate need of a interior D line to stop the run. So to take someone at any other position would have been crazy. No reason to think he would have the injury trouble, and when he has been able to play he looked promising. If after the 2 yeas they have had them if they thought he couldnt play he would have been cut not put on IR.

First off all of this is opinion anyway. QB is the most important position on the team! To worry about signing players next year at the expense of starting the season without a backup QB would be irresponsible. Yes, it would be great if TJ could come in and learn enough to to play week 1. Then TT could be cut to save the money.

The team is way under the cap. Funny if the bills dont sign someone "Ralf is cheep" I guess many bills fans are too. Hey some fans might think its a good idea to only have 1 real QB on the roster that knows the playbook.

It might be best to keep TT until TJ is up to speed in a few weeks. So, this means 1 less guy at another position for a couple of weeks, not a big deal. Being too quick to cut a QB is reckless, you cant ask a guy to go out there and fake it at QB and and expect to win. A lot of guys on the board are cut happy with out reason that makes any cents.

I am glad the FO is willing to do whatever they can to improve the team!! TT, and VY were real bad, now TJ is not a superstar but I would much rather have him than TT or VY. I think this shows that Nix is serious about a playoff run, if Fitz gets hurt jackson has a much better chance of wining than the other 2 I dont think we should cut B. Smith but I would rather use the 3rd QB spot on a a late round developmental guy, looking for the next Tom Brady.
