If the Bills had a QB like Luck the passing production would have been great, and everyone would be talking about how great the Bills receivers are! Maybe Rogers is smarter than we think, when he saw how poorly the QBs threw the ball he wanted out!

To make the claim based on watching him around college players means that he should have made the Bills is crazy. The coaches watched him around NFL players and decided that they would pass on him.

And he picked the Bills over other teams? Thought no one want to come to Buffalo. Randy Moss, Chris Carter and Dez Bryant all had character concerns and were drafted to name a few.

Evaluating him around college talent doesn't count!! Vince Young and many others looked great in college too. So what did he do in the BILLS camp to earn a spot.

What a 1 catch highlight reel? What else do you got? lol And yea TJ beat him out. Not to mention Rogers 14 receptions Graham 23. You guys must think the coaches want to loose.

It cool that we all have different opinions!!! At some point I give the coaches the benefit of the doubt. I hardly think that 14 receptions in enough to create an "I told you so". The coaches had him in camp and didnt think he was the guy for the team, that doesn't mean he will never make a good receiver. Most 4th and 5th receivers make the team for special teams work, and we didnt see him at all on special teams at all. I dont think any of us here saw he enough to make the call if it was a good cut or not. Time will tell if he was the fish the got away. That does not seem to be a problem for the bills, because they have not always brought in good talent. If he was cut by the Bills and then signed by another team, earned a starting position, made some big contributions right away it would be different.

Maybe we can trade Jerry Hughes to the Colts for Rogers... lol

Maybe no secret but not one of the 32 NFL teams was willing to take a flyer on him in the draft, why not? Are they all that stupid? Do you think he turned down a lot of other teams to sign with the Bills as a UDFA? And what exactly did you see in camp that the staff missed. I didnt see you post any cheers about Roby in August who made a much larger impact as a UDFA than Rogers. Or any other of the colts receivers.

really what did you see that I didnt? I know you have a love affair with this guy and thats cool. But, are you saying you or anyone else saw something in camp that would make you think he was a superstar. Its funny how some are so down about the cutting of a UDFA that might make it, and think the Bills FO and coached are clueless. He could be the fish that got away and very well may turn out to be a great NFL player and I dont wish any bad for him. But, I guess in the end all the NFL organizations suck for passing on Tom Brady several times and not drafting Kurt Warner.

Yes, but Rogers could not beat those guys out in camp!! If he could they would have kept him. He showed absolutely nothing in camp but he should have had a roster spot? Some of you guys are acting like he made the pro-bowl with his 14 receptions.

The only way its worth taking a QB in the 1st is if the guy is a sure thing. If not beef up the O-line and keep improving the D.

Talking about needing WRs at this point is putting the cart in front of the horse. Until their is a QB that can make the throws whats the point?

QB 1-4 If the Bills had a decent QB the would be a playoff team!!! Now EJ could develop into a good one but until he does or a better QB is add loosing seasons will continue.

This shows why its totally stupid to cut him now, and if he plays decent next year he should be kept for the following year. cutting him to save a few million in cap money doesn't make sense unless you can find someone better that will play for peanuts. I could care less about Ralf saving money, and cutting SJ saves nothing against the cap.

Who knows what Hogan would have for stats if Luck were throwing the ball!
