Anyone have a clue when Ike will be ready?

Im not convinced that the RBs are the issue. When I watch the games I see defenders in the hole like they knew the play was coming. IMO its more of a game plan or blocking execution problem.

Shakir we be a valuable weapon moving forward. He catches very well and dangerous with the ball in his hand.

Pitt has the weakest run D of all the teams we have played so far, so my guess is that the WRs will not get much work. Look for the breakout run game on Sunday....

I was surprised is dressed last week because last year they rarely dressed 3 RBs. This year is a different roster I guess. I thought they would have given him some carries once they had a good lead late in the 4th. Also shocked they did not throw the ball to him. I like you count mix. Cook needs some game experience and confidence at some point Motor or Moss might be hurt.

What are you basing this statement on? The idea that they are easing Motor action is crazy he did play 60% of the snaps. The more logical explanation is the Bills game plan. The QB lead the team in rushes last week and last year JA had 41% of the total rushes last year.

And prevention tips are all about again training and nothing about a pitch count...

Have you read anything that the Bills were managing him due to sports science? That 8 carries is the limit when the QB had more carries? 5 players on offense played 100% of the snaps, and 2 other were 97/98%. 6 players on defense were at 97% or more snaps. Of the 13 players Im referring to I would argue they are all more important to the team than a RB and yet not pitch count for them? Lastly and my main point was in this thread, JA had 2 more carries and 1 or 2 of them when the game was pretty much over. JA is the most important player on the team why wouldnt they protect him? Diggs played 64% of the snaps so a a lot more than less than half. Watt played 66% where Rouesseau played 67% are you saying the bills were carless with him?

Singletary only had 8 carries, 2 less than Josh. He has not had any injuries that have been talked about. So, I would say he was not on a pitch count.

My bet is we wont see him much when the game is close. The problem I see is 4 RBs active and have the QB get 2/3s of the rushes. Motor needs more touches....

The Bill averaged 27 total rushes per game last year and that includes all the carries of the RBs, QBs and WRs. Its hard for me to think the will dress 3 RBs that dont play special teams to get 6 to 9 touches each. I cant forget this, so if Jones is need as an emergency RB Im ok with that. And if Barkley was the #2 QB I would be happy with him as an emergency punter based on what I saw in preseason....

Pretty sure last year typical actives were 2 RBs and Jones, with 1 RB not active. What position do you think they will bring one less of on game day?

The biggest impact Von will bring is the attention he will be paid, creating opportunity for others... Von getting 9 or 10 sacks isnt a big deal if teams dont double and triple him. I think teams will game plan for him until he shows they dont have to. IMO, Von was the missing link on the defense, the reason they were willing to pay him so much. I really how he does not start slowing down in his first 3 years here.

I dont see how Cook can be active, 4 RBs on game day?
