  1. love them all is strong but none are bad.
  2. For different reasons tho. Some dont think is is all that great thanks to the advance stats crap. (I dont agree) Some feel RBs are a dime a dozen and he is real expensive. (I only slightly agree) Some feel that we gave up a great LB to pay a RB a ton of money. Considering the Eagles signed Murry for about the same money without giving anythin up makes sense. Some dont like the idea that if cut or what ever he carries 5.25 million in dead money in 4 years and still 2.6 million in 5 years. Hard to feel great about then deal when looking at all the factors. For the next couple of years we might love it but how will we feel 5 years from now.
  3. One of the worse guards in the league is replaced with a guy that was a pro-bowl player 2 years ago, and a RT will have a year under his belt. Improvement will be a surprise?
  4. Here are hogans pro day numbers compared to Woods. Bigger, stronger , faster, more agile. Hogan pro day numbers 6’1” - 221 40 – 4.50 Bench Reps @ 225lbs – 28 Vertical – 36.5 Broad jump – 126” (10’06”) 3 cone – 6.75 20 yard shuttle – 4.15 Woods Combine numbers: 6’0” - 201 40 – 4.51 Bench Reps @ 225lbs – 14 Vertical – 33.5 Broad jump – 117” (9’9”) 3 cone – 7.15 20 yard shuttle – 4.47
  5. The only move I dont like so far is Shady because of the number of years we have him for. I believe the dead money up to 5 years makes it questionable.
  6. The magic question is how MUCH more? For a small amount why would you want to leave a good team, move, go to a place that needs to insert a new offence, prove your self all over.
  7. Hindsight = 20/20 some bad picks yea. Better roster after Nix than before yea
  8. This maybe jackson # 2 due to good pass blocking and catching abilities.
  9. Rex must have figured he could have a good defense without Kiko, but couldn't score without a stud RB. Seems reasonable. No question the roster has gotten better from the moves and decisions of Doug. With the improvements made to the o-line and RB the QB will look better next year regardless of who it is.
  10. well he is, but ER FA so I guess they can tie him up cheep.
  11. If the Bills dont re-up hogan he will be with the Pats killing us twice a year.
  12. for the min. salary well worth kicking tires.
  13. Whaley on Spikes http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/bills-making-a-push-to-sign-hughes-20150219 Linebacker Brandon Spikes: “It’s going to be interesting. I just talked to him” on Thursday, “and the new staff sees a different role than maybe he does. I told him, ‘Go out there and see if you can get a team to see you the way you see yourself. If not, then come back and we can talk.’ ” If thats not shots fired I dont know what is.
  14. Franchise him and see what the trade market is. If no trade thats fine too because it gives a year to find or develop a replacement.
  15. Man, Rex should have hired Chan
  16. A lot of good stuff here, even if we dont all have the same opinions. Winning season against a pretty tough schedule. The AFC west and NFC north were some of the tougher divisions imo. The strength of schedule games didnt work out well for then in the sense that being a last place team they pulled the Browns at 7 and 9 and the Texans at 9 and 7. No excuses but if the Bills had the schedule that some other teams maybe another win or so. Either way I dont feel that the two "losses" of coach or QB were by no means the strength of the team.
  17. Funny like is Orton were to be the starter next year would give some folks hope. lol
  18. Right, and EJ was 2 and 2 while Kyle was 7 and 6 after getting a handout the last week of the season. So, worse case if EJ starts next year and doesn't improve the difference could be easily made up with an improved running game and better game management from the coach. I would rather take my chances on the best guy they can bring in and EJ over saying Orton is the starter. With the deal he had he would have been an idiot to stay with out an extension. He is collecting next years pay and can go get another job after posting the first winning season in a long time.
  19. Why so negative after winning season? Really.. First wining season in 10 years and so much negativity!! So the QB who was not so good anyway retires. Thats good that there is no way Orton will go into next season as the starter. They will have to find someone to compete with EJ. So the coach leaves that many didnt like anyway, and it seems as if the players didnt think much of him either. When they hired Doug I bet a lot of guys would not want to coach in Buffalo. Now, the roster is better, and no cap problems. I think its easier to get a good coach now than 3 years ago. Should still have a very good defense even if Jerry leaves, and Kiko will be back too. Ok, no first round pick but many dont believe that the missing link QB is in this years draft. I cant remember that last time after a season ended that I truly thought that next year could be double digit wins! GO BILLS
  20. Woods did defend Hacket said he was told what to do. The radio interview with Woods today was interesting, if you did not hear it you should http://media.wgr550.com/a/100652143/1-6-eric-wood.htm I am excited for next season!!
  21. Doug made it a point to say that they were building to run the ball, how did that work?
  22. There will be a team that is willing to over pay, just like Levitre and Byrd. Move on and find the next goo value.
  23. Sanchez never looked so good.
