McBean has some up their sleeves at RB. I dont seeWade making the roster. Possibly wanting to keep more at another position?

Nice to move forward in a trade. Get the 5th they used on him back and turned a 7th in a 6th.

Tight End vs Possession WR. Discuss.

I would like to see Williams over McKenzie for the big body and blocking. He can catch the ball well too. I understand what McKenzie brings but thing Brown and Foster can do everything he dose. -
I recall a preseason game where TT look bad and was hurt early and Peterman came is and played well against the starters. I believe it was against the Ravens. I guess when TT was benched with the Browns that was white privilege too....
-
CK was not willing to bet on himself. He wanted franchise starting contract and many did not believe he is one. Including many black players like Shady. The Bills gave Peterman 2 starts and benched him after both. Not including the ones he got due to injury. I believe he was benched before completing one of those starts. When he got the start against the Chargers it was more of a TT benching than a peterman starting deal. TT averaged 185 yards of passing per game that season. How may starts did the Bills give EJ? EJ got chances with 3 NFL teams and Peterman is only on his second.....

So you honestly think that there are teams that think they could be contenders with Kaep and choose not to because of his color? If you think QB get chances based on color your nuts!!! The only color in the NFL is green... If I recall correctly he wanted to be singed as a starter for big money. If he was willing to sign a 1 year prove it deal he would have been signed in a second. Why did he choose not to bet on himself?

From what I saw of Kelley he looks like a good prospect but how good we dont know yet. EJ screwed here? How about with Oakland and KC ??
-
Peterman played very well in two(now 3) preseasons. I thought he out played TT in the preseason. So, the chances he received were earned on the field and not because of his color. Also, he was earning about nothing so he is a good value toward the risk/reward calculation.

Yes but they could cut a guy like Gore and sign him back to make it happen.
-
To be honest Im not a big fan of him, but if the trade compensation is low like players who may not make the 53 or make the 53 any better, why not? This year cap space is no issue, and I believe he could be franchised. If he has a good year franchise him and trade for draft capital. Or trade him during the season the deadline is after 7 games, there just might be a team that is banged up need a pass rusher bad. The biggest problem I see is we already have a solid DE rotation.

Clowney Trending for some reason.

so a 2 year rental, not bad. But the way McBean drafts I would rather keep the picks. The day will come when they will need to pay Allen and it would be nice to have a bunch of guys on rookie deals... -
Nice thing is they were in position to cut him.. Wouldn't be good if he was competing for the a starting job.

Here are the IR rules https://www.cincyjungle.com/2018/8/31/17797904/explaining-pup-nfi-ir-other-injury-nfl-roster-designations-cuts-53-man-roster

he can return in 8 weeks. Half way through the season we might need a cb.

so there were 30 worse players on 53 man rosters last year. Could do worse. Looking at the stats it seems like he makes a lot of tackles

10 Personnel... simply due to lack of TEs or a thing?
artmalibu replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that a defense that they are playing against will determine the formations. Could be different from week to week. With the current TE health last night it was a good week to evaluate that package. -
Lorax: Healthy Trent Murphy is a game-changer
artmalibu replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fact is we know Murphy was hurt and seems reasonable he is healthy now. Last year in 10 starts he had 4 sacks so I think there is a chance he could have a good year. And lets hope so!!!! In about 8 days we will have a little clearer picture when he lines up against the Colts. -
Bills 2017 Draft - It Might Be Really Good

Funny to read this when there is another thread talking about how good the 17 draft was. -

Bills 2017 Draft - It Might Be Really Good
artmalibu replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They did not trade back to get a bad player, right. A to corner in the NFL is a big deal. Of course QBs are the most important... The Bills for what ever reason were not sold on him, and were one of 10 teams who passed on him. Also a lot of teams were in better position to trade up to get him than KC and did not. Add to that one team who passed on him took a different QB anyway. I guess half of the NFL should have fired there GM over this...... -
Bills 2017 Draft - It Might Be Really Good
artmalibu replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok caption Hindsite... The year before last when mahomes was sitting on the bench I didnt see much complaining about trading out of the pick. When Josh Allen beats Mahomes in the AFC champion game we will see who the joke is on. -
Bills 2017 Draft - It Might Be Really Good
artmalibu replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Mahomes thing is getting a little old imo. Yea they traded the pick away and selected one of the best corners in the league and a 1st round pick to boot. As good as Mahomes looked last year try imagine him being a rookie and playing for the Bills last year. How good would he have looked. Not to mention he took over an offense that was already pretty good and well coached. There are worse none pick QBs like Brady, Breeze, Wilson, Rogers. Only one was a 1st round in the back half and we all know where the other guys were picked.
