  1. Right! This has been a big part of the reason for my criticism. Sort of shaken baby syndrome. Like “Dude, you are certainly capable. Just play within yourself”
  2. If any STH wants to hook me up with 4 tickets????
  3. The neutral site thing is was is throwing me for a loop. Otherwise I’d be confident to wait it out.
  4. Anybody have thoughts on what will happen to ticket prices the next few days? Just based on the trajectory of Bills, Bengals, and Chiefs playoff tickets the last few weeks I think they’ll drop significantly. Or does anybody think they’ll go up?
  5. I preemptively bought tickets to both Buffalo and Tennessee last year. I don’t think they’ll stick at $600. They were about $250 last year.
  6. Tickets aren’t on sale for face value yet. Those are season ticket holders and ticket agencies who know they have the rights to their tickets. The AFCCG started around $1000 at the Ralph and are now down to $550 or so. The Divisional started around $7-800 before the wild card was played and now they’re under $200. TL;DR wait until 100% of tickets have been released. Prices will go down.
  7. Nothing would be more genius than not getting a rookie meaningful NFL experience and rhythm with your starting QB. Then suddenly trying to create that connection when it matters most…..
  8. It’s 2023 man. Just go to talk to your local budtender.
  9. If he is vaping on the sideline, which I highly doubt, I would be even more shocked if it was weed.
  10. We had some circus catches this game. Outside of the Beasley INT and maybe Brown’s (I don’t know the call), I thought our WR group as a whole had a good day. Ja’Mar Chase had a number of drops himself last night. The Bengals don’t have a WR problem that needs cleaning up.
  11. I would have understood this match up having to be played in Cinci. They specifically lost this game from the regular season. We sorta owe them one.
  12. The Bills have a whopping 3 more drops than KC. 3. This stat gets presenting like the difference is 23 drops between Buffalo and other good offenses. Also all those teams have a high frequency passing offenses that will inevitably produce more drops. Here are the top QB’s with the most drops: 1. Rodgers 2. Allen 3. Brady 4. Lawrence 5. Tua/Miami 6. Daniel Jones 7. Mahomes 8. Herbert 9. Burrow 10. Browns 8 are in the playoffs and 8 are likely in the top 10 in the league. Surely we need to work on drops. But the gap between Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, etc. isn’t stifling. It’s 3 total dropped passes over 16/17 weeks. That’s one every 5 games.
  13. I think he was trying to get Miami to show their hand with what concepts they were thinking. Maybe ice a rookie QB? When you go for it on 4th you bring your best play. You have to rethink it or run your second best play the next time. I thought it was odd for McD. But that’s all I could come up with.
  14. 1. Keep our own 2. Do a better job of getting starters through the draft. (OL and WR)
  15. Clearly the staff thinks he (and Hodgins) are not better than McKenzie. The conversation is are they wrong/did they make a mistake?
  16. Hodgins plays inside. We’ve struggled with inside receivers. Shakir can play inside and out. I’m constantly surprised he isn’t given more looks. For all the good stuff this staff does, they don’t do great with in game/season development.
  17. I hope we get him more involved going forward. He’s been very QB friendly in finding soft spots and making tight catches.
  18. The guys been playing with a busted shoulder for like 5 weeks. And last week it was basically just a dead arm. I can’t believe the dresser him against NE.
  19. He hasn’t completed more than 63% of passes since the first NE match up. Today was particularly frustrating for me today because it feels like this is the QB he’s been for the last month or two. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleJo02.htm
  20. I have a theory. Because Josh has reworked his entire game since coming into the NFL, making adjustments to his mechanics and eyes takes a really long time to become permanent. Sometimes years and years. Josh said he took this offseason off for the first time to let his body rest. Which is totally fair. But it comes with some consequences for a guy who’s he to make so many changes. There was also that super goofy interview with him, Barkley, and Keenum. They make a few goofy references to how much film they watch. Allen is one of the worst QB’s in the league against zone this year…
  21. I would have to go back and watch games, but it feels like Allen has been relentlessly unwilling to get into a rhythm underneath compared to the end of last season. This just feels like 2021/2022 Josh.
  22. I’ll be curious what the A22 looks like. I watch most weeks and there’s often quick routes open underneath. But Josh keeps looking down field. It’s why the underneath looks so clunky sometimes. Guys are just waiting for it and flat footed. Josh’s ability and willingness to keep his eyes down field, and the consistency he makes low percentage throws compared to his peers is both a positive and negative for his game. When he’s on, we’re unstoppable. When he turns the ball over a few times and starts pressing, it makes everything so hard.
  23. 17 points off of turnovers. I don’t have a lot of negatives about the defense. The offense did them no favors today. Especially in the second half.
  24. This has been Josh’s go to when he’s not quite sure what’s going on. And if it’s not there, hold the ball and hope the underneath clears out and he can take off.
