You’re right. Jersey doesn’t need to trryyyy to make poop. It comes naturally. -

Philly fans are the worst. It’s a weird city I want to like, but it’s also the worst. It’s like Jersey tried to make their own NYC but failed. -

I don’t know that there are any defenses capable of overcoming your 4th string QB in the the conference championship game. -

At some point we have to reevaluate the rouging the kicker rule. I don’t know that it was a BS call. I get the flag. But that looked like playing football to me. -

There is a strong argument that Shanahan is the best coach in the league. -
A huge part of the issues heading into 2023 isn’t a single draft pick or hefty contract. It’s the sum of a number of iffy draft picks and contracts. So right, all GM’s make mistakes, but Beane has put us in a bit of a hole. He’ll have a chance to fix it. But I’m not sure how many chances he should and will get to do so.

Given the 3 year rule. Analyzing the Bills 2020 draft..
Mango replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
AJE is a D Hodgins is an F. We let him hit waivers in favor of keeping guys like Taiwan Jones protected. That’s one of the larger gaffes in recent memory. I can’t give a draft a B where one pick is a traded player and the next 2 in the top 100 are underwhelming are trash. -
I’ll add on to the All1-22. I have been relatively critical of Allen in recent weeks just because he hasn’t been seeing the field well. I’ve had little issue with his accuracy (elbow injury) and some big issues with his decision making. I think at times he makes life pretty difficult on the OL by refusing to get the ball out. But this Bengals game….None of that was the case. Like at all. I’m not sure even once. The guy had no chance. There was nothing. Absolutely nothing Allen could do. And it wasn’t just protection. There was just nobody ever open. It was wild. I don’t know if I have ever watched such a hopeless all-22.

I am not saying a room full of competitive males don't win. There are loads of people who are just competitive as Diggs. They regularly do things like win Stanley Cups, Super Bowls, Grand Slams, the Olympics, World Championships etc. I am saying name me a team in any professional and Olympic sport that had 10 guys screaming at each other and storming out of the facility that then were at the top of their medals podium or hoisting their penultimate trophy? I'll wait.....

10 more guys acting the way Diggs behaved on Sunday night and Monday would be a total disaster. There isn't a successful team on the planet that has consistently won at any professional sport with a roster full of that behavior. You might get one good season, but inevitably it would crumble.

I totally agree. Singletary has gotten much stronger since he was drafted. He isn't big or fast, but he is shifty and has learned to hit the hole well. He has carried a lot of defenders this year.

I like the idea of bringing Duke back to help fill out the RB room.

I am unsure if you are just be sarcastic/joking around or if you actually think that is the OP's point. Your internet deadpan is impressive. -
Frank Reich named new Head Coach of Panthers
Mango replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am not sure this is the case. People keep saying this, but he was Mannings QB coach for only 2 years until they moved him to the WR coach in Indy. He was the OC of a bad SD offense. When he was in Philly, Wentz with Reich and Pederson was serviceable but then Wentz with Reich and not Pederson he was not. He didn't get anything out of Baker or Darnold. Baker had some wow moments once he got to LAR. If anything I think Reich's strong suit might be leadership as the COO of the team, not as an actual X's and O's guy. -
I am less concerned with the X's and O's of it all at the moment. The team was 13-3, a tough record to make major changes at coordinator or FO. But I am concerned that this roster is at a tipping point with the staff and if we don't make a change McD could lose the team. At which point you have to start the whole thing over. Most of it stems from Diggs. He isn't just a guy reacting on his own. By his own announcement and by vote of his peers, he is a captain and leader on the team. The fact that he caused a scene publicly, left the facility, and doubled down on his actions via twitter are a big deal. Because he is a leader, the more malcontent he becomes, and the more struggle this team has, the more that will fall in line behind him. I really wish he cam back to the facility to meet with the media and team on locker clean out day.

Right, I get what you are saying. The Bills should go out and trade for a player that is better than what we have, but another team thinks is not that great at the moment. I am telling you that is the most vague plan. So vague it isn't really a plan. That is just generally what GM's across the league are trying to do every single day. "See what I think the Bills should do is, identify talent they think can upgrade the roster, then put them on the roster" - You, basically.
-
Who? What OG do you see in the pipeline? You're just speaking in vague generalities. "The Bills should do stuff to get better"
