I used to bump in to players all the time down there. Like I’ve caught Brian Campbell doing coke twice at Soho. Spent my 21st at Colter Bay with Thurman Thomas chatting and having drinks. Unfortunately did a few rounds of shots with Boyd Tinsley at Brinks. Plus a handful of other smaller encounters. I left 4 years ago, unfortunately I’m older now, and also the pandemic. But I feel like that is less common than it used to be.

I have two friends who slept with Ryan Miller…on the same night. One of them also slept with JP Losman.

Going off off of @Draconator and his post about the church building a subdivision. In 2023, anytime a church physically builds a residence/community around it in an affluent area of town, while skimming off of the top, we should all be skeptical of all of their events.

I’ve heard over and over that we are ultra cautious, and player first when it comes to injuries. But that’s just a thing we tell ourselves to make ourselves feel better. Outside of the total mismanagement of Tua, I don’t think we make many different decisions than any other coaching staff in the league. That isn’t to say we have a great training staff. Between Araiza, injury management, and maybe this, I’m over the who “Process” thing. We don’t have any sort of secret sauce or moral compass. These guys aren’t special. Our team isn’t above anything any other team is. We’re an NFL team with NFL players, who operate by and large the same as every other team in the league.

I agree. Also, much like politicians, if this story is real there’s a decent chance this isn’t a “there is a child involved” and it is a “there was a child involved” situation. Which would be part of this never seeing the light of day.

There’s a lot of speculation involved, and given the powers that be and money involved there’s a likelihood this never really sees the light of day other than local talk. From the perspective of @Process, if he knows people in the organization as he says, and Allen impregnated somebody while in a committed relationship, he deserves the criticism about his character and I can understand calling him a moron. In fact moron would be going quite light.

Nobody was complaining that Josh’s throws were off target. The criticism was always decision making.

I haven’t pry’ed into the specifics of what the status of the child is. But that’s a good point. Whatever the status, I hope the woman was able to come to the best answer for her without too many outside influences.

A friend of my GF was at a wedding with Efe Obada and he was also talking about it. Nobody is required to believe me or this. I’m just sharing the conversations I’ve had since I started poking around. I won’t spend any time arguing with anybody. But it’s confirmed within my social network. What a bummer for Britt Will. I feel exceptionally bad for her. I come from a family of this behavior. I’ve seen first hand what it does to these women. It’s unfortunately unsurprising for kid who became a rich super star overnight. From a pure football perspective you always want to think your guy is different. But apparently he’s not.

FWIW, I mentioned the Britt Will/Allen bartender baby to a good friend Justin now. I thought it was sorta wild rumor mill stuff. She immediately responded “I’ve known for months. It’s actually a friend of a friend. Just wasn’t my story to tell” I don’t know what’s what for details, as I didn’t pry. But I’d say there’s very real teeth to at least a portion of this.

Most of the time restructure language is included in the original contract and do not require player approval. He likely didn’t agree to anything outside of his extension. I’m not claiming this tweet means he’s unhappy. But his restructure isn’t an example of good faith either.

Knox’s route percentage is also pretty high as well. It’s not an opportunity issue. It’s a target issue.

Saying we need more talent at WR is way different than advocating for 2 x $20M WR's which is what I am specifically speaking towards. I am all for getting more talent in house through under valued players on other rosters and the draft. Robert Woods never had a double digit cap number in LAR. Kupp was $5.3M against the cap when they won the SB. Stafford, Woods, Kupp totaled $31.17M The total cap hit for Gronk, Evans, Godwin, Brown in 2020 was a whopping $21.218M. Add Brady and it goes up to $46.2M. As it stands right now Allen, Diggs, Hopkins would eat $52.95M of cap space. For fun you can add Dawson Knox for better comparison to that TB team and that number jumps to $59.38M

That is a super broad brush. Big money never hit for all three of those guys in the same season. And when the time came, they got rid of Tyreek. The very first time Mahomes cap hit was over $7.5M was in 2022. That is right Mahomes cost less than $7.5M every season until this passed season....where they moved on from Tyreek Hill, their expensive WR. This is literally my point. You do not pay all 3 top dollar at the same time. If you want to have a conversation around surround Josh with more talent, I am fine with that. Go draft a guy high, pay him big money when Diggs contract is up. But stop pretending everybody is paying multiple receivers $20M to play on the same team with a big QB contract too.

I agree. Sorry, I left out "why do we need to draft another RB high." I can see value in a day 3 player.
