There is no post June 1 designation for trades....like there is for cuts, where a team can cut up to two players per year in March and not take them off the books until June. The emphasis is on "designation", which means its purely clerical. Per the two premier cap websites, there are different financial implications for trades pre and post June 1. If there isn't, somebody should definitely let both Spotrac and OTC know, because both list it with its own specific costs for Diggs (and every other player in the league) before and after that date for both trade and release. In Spotrac you click on the x on the players contract page for the year you want to view cap implications for pre-June 1 cut, pre-June 1 trade, post-June 1 cut, or post June 1 trade. OTC it is similar, but it is just in the right hand column, you select one of those from the drop down. I got the $11.8M and $13.2M from the Wayback Machine from Spotrac September 9, 2022, which is after Diggs signed his extension. I did that to cross check the cap implications post restructure. http://web.archive.org/web/20220909075458/https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/stefon-diggs-16872/

Duuuude, what? We are all sorta chatting pretty respectfully and you are coming in like a bull in a china shop, so maybe slow down a bit with the name calling. Also I never said staying together. What are you talking about. Cheating on the daughter of a family friend, especially in small town, has ramifications for other peoples relationships. That's it full stop. There would be no issues if Josh just broke up with Brittany. The entire conversation is about cheating. Try and keep up a little bit better if you are going to be so aggressive.

My post was about the Josh/Britt rumors at large. And how ultimately the pregnancy rumors didn't matter, because he did both Britt and his family dirty. Somebody asked how did Josh do his family dirty. That is my response. Britt Williams' family was friends with the Allen well before they started dating. Josh cheating on her very much changes the dynamic of his parents friendships, especially in a town of 8,000 people.

What is the practice and media schedule for today? It feels like if Diggs were in the building the PR machine would have likely put something on one of their socials to maybe calm it down? Or maybe keep media presence to a minimum and hope this loses steam? Nothing in 23 hours. Yesterday I had a schedule of pressers before the day started.

Sooo...my boss went through her BF's phone at a wedding she was standing up in. Apparently she created a whole scene. It wasn't good. Apparently he has told her "my friends think you are awesome, you are the best woman I have ever dated, but for whatever reason I just don't feel it". That was in regards to them getting married and why he hasn't proposed yet. They are still together. She is trying to "convince him". My boss is a disaster of a human, HR is working on finding her replacement.

I have a friend who was told by a former player at a wedding this summer. It is one of my best friends, I would trust them with my life. Take it for what its worth, I am not going to argue it. But other than talking to Josh, Britt, or Diggs, hearing it directly from somebody who played with Josh, that is as direct a source as you are going to get.

So I think there is some weight to all of this. I started to think it when I was going through A22 this past season. Josh just wasn't seeing the field, there were a lot of moments where he was just getting by by sheer physiology. Then he had that QB room interview where the entire thing was satire, and part of it was "how much film do you watch", and they went on and on about how that is all they do. Film 16 hours per day, then film of them watching film. I assumed that meant they actually weren't because that was the entire vibe of the interview. Source: Are you saying that you are hearing this from somebody who volunteers at Diggs former HS?

I wonder if Poyer is triggered at the moment? I had an ex that met somebody while we were together. Left me for him out of the blue. It sucked. But ultimately I was living at the Olympic Training Center, she was dating me, while I was in a committed relationship with my sport. Over time I get why she left. I was a bad partner. People aren't always the best versions of themselves. But my GF slept with Antonio Brown? Please....you aren't a good person who navigated a situation poorly. You are flat out a bad person. Life is complicated. Sleeping with Antonio Brown isn't. Ha!

It is pretty much accepted that Josh cheated on Brittany, there was a huge scene, the police were called. I didn't know that was even debatable at this point. The pregnancy thing seems to have some debate. Although, in the grand scheme of things I am not sure it matters. Ultimately Josh did his family and ex very very dirty, pregnancy or not. The Diggs ex-GF thing is brand new to me. I don't know what to think about it yet.

You can't storm out of the office when things don't go the way you want. That is what happened vs CIN and this is a continuation of that. So he did quit on his team, he ran out of the stadium like a petulant child. Was convinced to briefly come back, and never returned again, only to troll the fan base and the franchise for the last 5 months. Sure he isn't Aaron Hernandez, but he has also proven to be a bad teammate here. It takes a certain amount of humility to right those kind of wrongs, and Diggs is hell bent on proving he is "alpha" rather than just being alpha. It will ultimately be his demise. Now...if Josh slept with his girl....I have a much different take. If my best friend did that I might burn it all down too.

Let me be more specific, restructuring Diggs didn't make him immovable this year. Although it creates some additional pain. It increases the burden for the following years dead cap. The difference in trading Diggs today changed from $11.8M to $13.2M. Certainly not an insurmountable increase. Next years dead cap with a trade today increases from $25 to $31M. We freed up $6M with the restructure, but it doesn't cost us $6M more this season to move on. That comes next season.

I agree with this, but not Diggs specifically. I still feel some exhaustion from last year. The whole thing just hits different still. I have been leaning into hockey quite a bit more than usual. Don't get me wrong, I am still here, and posting, and keeping track of everything. But the whole thing carries a lot less weight with me than it did before.

It didn't work. If the Sabres won in 99 they would have been maybe the worst overall team to ever with the Stanley Cup. Without Hasek the team would be flat out bad. Bottom 5 in goal differential. I don't give Nolan much credit for riding Haseks coat tails. That stretch from Dom was probably the greatest individual performance the league has ever seen.
