I think a key to this whole thing from a moral point of view is that the young girl was too drunk to give consent. I know a lot of people in a number of large athletic departments and they all mention this is taught to student athletes all year every year. I think a 17 year old telling multiple people to “eff me now or you’re a *****” likely falls under that category. And as far as the room goes, any person is allowed to pull consent at any time. She has the right while getting double teamed to say no. And if those men don’t, that is assault. My first thought reading the article is that this seems to directly challenge statements made by Araiza himself to the police. I can certainly get behind the fact that everything doesn’t add up from her side. But I also don’t think this article absolves SDSU football or SDSU police what so ever. As far as I am concerned my big take away is something’s don’t add up from Araiza, the young woman, and others. It isn’t that she wasn’t assaulted, it’s that there isn’t enough evidence to move forward.

They aren’t a court of law. They can’t send him to jail. None of us have ever received any due process in any of our jobs. 99% of us are at will employees and can be released at any time. What planet do you live on?
  3. Love Josh. Him and Burrow are such different players and cut from totally different molds. Difficult to really compare or put one clearly above the other. But one thing I won't do is use 1 road game from 2 years ago and say "SeEeEeE lOoK hOw MuCh BeTteR mY gUy Is". Also, it is super disingenuous to take stats that include Burrow's rookie year where he tore his ACL and his first full season/coming off of a season ending ACL injury, and compare them to Allen's 3rd and more season years. Burrow has 2 full seasons under his belt. 2020 was Allen's 3rd year in the league. I would not trade Burrow straight up for Allen today. But this is silly.
  4. There are a few that are workable concepts/mascots. The Colts, colt is hung like a horse. Also the what is a poonat and why is it on the Panthers mascot?
  5. I think…maybe?…we see some more traditional 4-3 looks instead of the 2LB sets we are used to. I think we may be forced to with Klein and Milano. Williams may start to basically split time with Taron.
  6. This was my first thought about the TE room last night.
  7. I don't think we are over invested in the position in the game of football. I do think a top 5 salary and a first is a lot for a team that has not made a commitment to throwing the TE the ball since they took over the team in 2017. I like Kincade., and the pick. I like the idea of lining Knox, Kincade, Cook, Diggs, and Davis on a regular basis. I am cautious about what the Bills will get in return.
  8. Huh, I was commenting on the poster who said all Dawson Knox does is block. That was my correction, that Dawson Knox is not primarily a blocker in this offense. What would you like me to get a grip on?
  9. Sure, it can. I’d love it to. Id also love for us to throw the ball to the any number of receiving RB’s since McD took over. I say that because it was the same under Daboll. Im not critical of the player or the staff. But we do seem to chase players that fit an idea we never implement. Or at least don’t execute. I do think Josh wants the deep ball so bad he over looks the RB/TE’s. Please don’t throw things at me.
  10. Daboll got the same production from our receiving RB and TE as Dorsey did. Plenty of criticism for Dorsey. This isn’t one of them though.
  11. For the millionth time. Dawson Knox runs as many routes as any TE in the league not named Kelce. We keep grabbing receiving RB and TE’s and refuse to throw them the ball. They’re running routes.
  12. More than anything that’s my head scratcher. It’s not the kid himself. But Knox runs a lot of routes, we pay him a lot of money, but we don’t throw him the ball. I just don’t know how much production this team will ever get out of the TE to invest like we have?
  13. If Eddie Murphy had a kid with Eddie Griffin it would be Zay flowers.
  14. Has anybody been to the draft? Is it all that fun? It’s hard to stay locked in at home. It’s basically just Roger Goodell taking 3 hours to read a grocery list.
  15. Or this could be like the 2008 James Hardy draft. No offense to the guy. I didn’t realize/totally forgot he committed suicide. How sad.
  16. I think he’s just been bigger than everybody he’s played against. It will take some time for him to adjust. A lot of big OL in the NFL. Just my $0.02
  17. They will have a lot more room than that next year once the official cap number comes out. They’ll have the YouTube money. Not to mention restructures. They can make it work if they want to get it over and done with. Unsure if that’s the best move or if they actually will.
  18. Not to derail the thread, but I think there is a reasonable place in the middle of "not giving Lamar the contract he wants" and "signing a quality WR". You could make the point that signing a Hopkins is exactly why they wouldn't want to give Lamar a Watson-esque contract.
  19. Just looking at Spotrac, this doesn't bite them as much as I thought it would. The Jets can eat that $58M next year and still have $11M in space based on the current projection, which is likely super conservative. Obviously that puts a lot of strain on the FA classes the next season or two. But it is possible they just eat it next year.
  20. She is still on my IG, and my GF's. @Arkady Renko definitely got themselves blocked. How embarrassing.
  21. Or....hear me out..... Their investment in WR are for one of two reasons. 1. Entice Lamar to sign the tag to play with a real WR corp. 2. This is where we all put on our tinfoil hats....They are prepping for life after Lamar, and know they need weapons to support a young QB. Lamar may sign his tender, but Baltimore may not extend, or they could even tag, extend, and trade. Flip those picks into QB, OL, and defense.
  22. Winters in Buffalo aren’t the problem. We have the worst spring. Everything is gross, brown, and wet. Garbage is still being uncovered from bushes and snow piles. It sucks.
  23. Not if Nick Cannon has anything to say about it.
