  1. Come on dude. You have a valid point to make without kicking a guy while he is down. Tre was the first pick of the McDermott era and a major part of turning this thing around. We can say Jackson is a great addition without swiping at a guy who just balled about his career maybe being over in front of a few million people. I don’t know if you can toss your contact out and say “I’ll halve my pay”. I’m not necessarily arguing with you. But I don’t think I’ve heard of it before.
  2. It’s not just this game. Let’s not forget their RT is a disaster. They call him on it once and Andy Reid basically gaslights the league with “woah, where is the consistency, we do this every week. Ow we are getting screwed”. Looks like the league bent over and took it.
  3. I don’t disagree, but when Jones is your best DL by some margin and Ed is playing lights out you don’t want to take any of those guys off the field.
  4. Rewatching some of this game since I’m sick. The calls and no calls KC is getting, particularly on OL, seems worse than anything Brady ever got with NE. Snap after snap they’re lining up wrong, jumping Offside, holding. Then add on the phantom DPI’s. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen it consistently this bad for one team over such huge stretches of plays, quarters, and games.
  5. Just a thought, maybe there should be a “Tre injury” and a “Tre, what do we do at CB/next steps”. I know nobody means any harm but it feels weird to read “good vibes to the guy” backed next to “I guess we’ll have to cut him”. Seems like two different conversations.
  6. I think there’s a path where the team lets him rehab and come back before they make any decisions. It may even help with free agents and extensions down the line. That would be two stars in two years with two major injuries the team stands behind while they get better. Just a thought. I love the guy. I would hate to see him leave the team or leave the league like this.
  7. I hope Tre sticks around and comes back. But I can’t imagine in the short term there is an extension. No way you give a new contract to a guy a couple weeks after blowing his achilles without being able to at least test it first.
  8. It was tongue in cheek man.
  9. I am and was absolutely gutted for the guy. It was hard to watch on national TV. So sad, we watched a guy come to terms with the idea that he might have his entire career ripped away from him in front of millions of people. Tre is my favorite player since Bruce. I feel for the guy.
  10. The last 15 months have been “fire Dorsey” Now “holy shirt, we might lose Dorsey”. What a wild ride this team is. Glad I’m here for it!
  11. Brady had 40. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/potw_career.htm
  12. Me this offseason: - The OL sucks - WTF are we gonna do at MLB - Josh needs to be better. Me today: 🍆
  13. I still can’t get over that no holding call on the Chiefs LT. Their OL has been able to do whatever the hell they want this year. It’s bonkers. I’ve never seen anything like it.
  14. I find fireman Ed so effing annoying.
  15. I saw something while scrolling that Taylor Swift flew with the team? I’ve never heard of that before. Wives, GF’s etc.
  16. The Bengals stink. Burrow is toast. They need to sit him. People don’t care about whinny receivers on bad teams. People like to talk about the ups and downs of either heart warming stories or winners. The Bengals are neither. Well only hear about their current downward trend but likely not Chase. This will come down to the staff and Burrow. Very different situations
  17. Push up play. My GF and I both thought the push up was to cover up that his cage was rattled. “Don’t come check on me, I’m cool, see”…. The way Koney fell was a little scary a few plays later.
  18. I watch a lot of football. For whatever reason a lot of guys shaking their heads and weird contact. I don’t know what it is but tonight feels a little dangerous.
  19. I thought Pacheco got his bell rung a little 2 plays ago. Then a little wobbly the next play. Anybody gonna check on this guy?
  20. The gap between the haves and have nots is wider than I can remember. There is a path there for anybody who steps up to take it.
  21. I like this version of the simulation where the Jets stink but they win games against the best teams. They could be the best 5-12 team ever!
  22. Sure, I’ll take Chandler Jones and their next 2 first round picks. That’s it, that’s the trade.
  23. I think the thought is that there is a spot in the secondary opening up with Rapp moving up a spot. I personally think that when it comes to responsibilities, if Hamlin is called up he might be the back up SS on paper, but ultimately won't see the 20% snap count Rapp has seen this year. I think the back up responsibilities will get split situationally between Benford and Lewis.
  24. You know they say "every olympic event should have a normal person competing too for perspective"...well, I am pretty sure this is what I would look like trying to tackle NFL running backs. That didn't even occur to me. But can we not just scratch Elam twice? Does his first round draft value not have any value?
