  1. I think that is a super dangerous road to go down. If Josh not running has “killed this offense”, then that means Allen’s arm/decision making aren’t good enough, and running the ball is the solution. I love a good mobile QB, but long term success in this league is dictated by being a great passer first, and athlete second. At some point in every mobile QB’s career they either had to figure it out or they flamed out. If Allen is going to do this for a long time at a high level this is something he’ll have to hone in on. I have been critical on some of the decision making. But I don’t think Allen’s arm is killing the offense either. I don’t think he’ll flame out. I think talking about how Allen “needs his legs” is way more condemning than talking about him being a better decision maker at times.
  2. Daboll stinks. This offense has very similar deficiencies under Dorsey as it did Daboll. We just aren’t truck linebackers so it has a less exciting vibe with nearly identical output. I think Daboll is a really good football guy, great guy to have on staff. But can’t be fully in charge of a unit or a team (yet?). Every unit he’s managed outside of Josh has sucked. But I also think he’s a pretty smart dude. There is a lot that goes into being in charge of a whole team and/or unit other than being smart.
  3. Yes, a game. My point is that it’s not a good week in and week out philosophy. Diggs already pushed some history in single season target numbers last year. Feeding one guy all the balls all the time isn’t a good offensive plan. Worth noting that Tyreek only had 58 catches over 12 games in 2019. Which extrapolates to 77 catches over a 16 week season. The Chiefs offense didn’t revolve around getting Tyreek the ball on 51% of pass plays the way it seems like the Bills offense does at times.
  4. Good for her I guess. So she’s basically at every game? I assume she was basically here all week. London, Sabres game, Giants. Kinda cool this celebrity has more or less been living in Buffalo the last month.
  5. Then Tirico was wrong. I just checked the play by play.
  6. Rodgers and Stanford have struggled to win championships with this style of decision making. Some of the blame is on pass catcher and coaches. Absolutely. Between these two really talented QB’s who have nearly 40 years of NFL football and only 2 SB’s. We need better pass catchers. We also need better coaching. But only throwing the ball to one guy doesn’t set your team up for success either. That might have been catches? I believe Diggs was targeted 12 or 13 times in the first half. And only had 3-4 targets the second half. He ended the day 10/16.
  7. I didn’t know that. But she was also at Sabres Hopener! In terms of playing quality sports, Buffalo teams are 1-4 with her in attendance.
  8. So I don’t want to worry anybody but…. I believe Hailee Steinfeld has been in attendance for @Jets, Jags, and now Giants. It’s unfortunate for her, but if this continues she may get the Romo/Jessica Simpson treatment of being known as a jinx.
  9. That was my thought watching it live. I don’t think we ever got a good replay. Just commercial break then a ruling.
  10. This also happened under Daboll.
  11. At the risk of getting flamed, you cannot win championships targeting one receiver 16 times per game. And it doesn’t matter what the rest of the WR Corp looks like. I don’t care. I would much rather try and have WR’s fail than have offenses run the way they did last night and @Jets. Aaron Rodgers is wildly talented and is very open about if you drop the ball he won’t throw it to you. Some of the problem is the WR of course, but QB’s with that mentality also hold their teams back and force them into being one dimensional. That said, I don’t think it’s a trust issue for Josh. I think Allen legit just wants to throw the ball to Diggs. I’m willing to be they thought they were gonna pop off and put up Madden numbers. They didn’t but they felt like they should so kept trying it.
  12. I watched in a bar, which I HATE doing. But I am very curious to rewatch the network and A-22. There were some drops, but I cannot imagine the game plan was designed to throw 16/30 balls to Diggs. And that on over half of the pass plays there was nobody else. My knee jerk is that Allen/Diggs came into this one planning on putting up Madden numbers.
  13. I moved up here in 2019 and I’ve noticed it’s no man’s land. My neighborhood has Bills, Giants, Jets, WFT, Patriots, and Dallas flags. There is a million overlaps in the regional ven diagram. I wouldn’t be so quick to call it Giants country in 2023.
  14. Don’t go to Ravenwood in Clifton Park. They told me They won’t be staying open late enough for tonight’s game even though they’re listed as a backer bar.
  15. 1. The absolute most important point here is you 100% should not be allowed to call yourself a Bills Backers Bar, and be listed on any “official” BBB website if you don’t show the full game. If you cannot afford to be open for a Bills game you cannot be listed as an official backers bar. Full stop. 2. Liquor laws aren’t in issue in the capital region of NYS. They can serve until the wee hours of the morning.
  16. A buddy is playing hockey across the street from a listed Bills Backers Bar in Clifton Park (Albany-ish). They eat there after the game all the time and we’re meeting a new GF who is going to watchZ But their hours say they close at 9. I think that can’t be right on game night but my partner is antsy and asked me to check they’d stay open. So I call… The kitchen and bar will close at 9. I asked them to check with somebody in charge, they have BoW, Blue Light, and Bills logos all over their social media. They told me that since it’s a nationally televised game they won’t stay open. How can you expect to draw a crowd if you can’t consistently be counted on to show the game. This has to be the worst Backer Bar in the country, right?

  18. How is this happening? Hahaha
  19. For me the NFL TV broadcast has become so focused on the LOS and the ball that I almost never see what’s happening in the play until I watch the A-22. It also feels like replays have gotten worse and worse. Sure there are some cool close up shots. But it seems like there are less replays play to play. And god for I’d we see the replay of every flag.
  20. Don’t get me wrong, I like being low in the lower bowl, it’s super exciting. But I see the best football sitting up higher. I love it. I would much rather be high up in the 300’s between the 20’s than anywhere in a corner/endzone.
  21. Let me start by saying that I don’t think Diggs has been an issue whatsoever this year. (Since OTA) I also strongly disagree with his behavior in the playoffs and OTA’s. I’ll comment on the general conversation here. For all the “what about Jordan”. Jordan is a total ash hole. Everybody knows it. Everybody knew it then. And everybody knows it now. Nobody says Jordan’s behavior was good. He’s a total dick. Most of this board spent 20 years talking about what a POS Brady was/is. These are really bad examples because 1. Most here think both these people suck as humans. 2. They are the undisputed GOATs at their sports. Basically if you’re Chris Hogan, you better be the nicest person in the room. If you’re Michael Jordan and transcend the sport you play you can do what you want whenever you want and people will put up with it. Diggs falls somewhere in between. Walking out on your team is a Jordan move and Diggs ain’t Jordan so he gets more flack. It’s that simple.
  22. I don’t think the helmet to helmet was “intentional” but that absolutely deserves an ejection. Watching Moore on the ground and getting up was very scary and highly preventable.
  23. Last year I think home teams were only getting 1.5.
