  1. this dude still sucks....not in the first round conversation. wouldnt touch him until the 4th
  2. wide open tight end running the seam. no pressure in his face. totally misses....pass on this dude. we have a guy with way more smarts and ****ty accuracy i hope we see more of manuel. just two drives? but starts?
  3. also i am not a fan of the ot pugh he seems like a dud on the outside, better inside, but not that impressive
  4. what the hell was that toss from nassib
  5. will we see manuel again?
  6. its because he is a one read qb, he has to throw it because thats his first receiver
  7. that int is mostly because he stared down his receiver.
  8. solely based on these two drives, last one in particular, if we reach for a qb it should be Manuel in the 2nd
  9. BEAUTIFUL long ball for the TD
  10. id like to see manuel use his wheels a bit better out there. looks a little uncomfortable. should have picked up the first on that
  11. manuel is consistently considered a third rounder by almost every draft guru, not good for tyler wilson
  12. nice first long ball, last 2 where pretty bad
  13. i think this is precisely what i am trying to avoid. this class doesn't seem to have much ilk. grab a seat warmer in FA. EJ Manuel seems to have some Kaepernik like skill level and upside but not ready. Grabbing him in the 3rd makes us not committed to him, and allows us to bet the farm on a much better guy that we actually like rather than dig deep to find plus sides in whats available now. would you be opposed with grabbing EJ Manuel now making it easier for us to grab A guy like McCarron next year, or is it more important to have Nassib now.
  14. I'm saying if we are bent on shipping Fitz out and need another veteran he is the best option. He's better then Smith And Tavaris. I don't think he is the solution. Just a stop gap while we groom the future. By no means is he the savior of the franchise. Just spit balling ideas. Without wasting a draft pick on a bad Alex Smith, this seems like a good option. What's your big idea?
  15. Why? What's the solution. Nassib at 8? I think we need a stop gap, Fitz may be able to do that job, maybe not. We need to grab a guy this year to develope and/or next year to be THE GUY. Campbell would be a tremendous stop gap
  16. He's not getting too much mention around here as a FA QB. The facts are Flacco won't hit the market, Alex Smith is a game manager at best, and Tavaris was horrendous in Minnesota for years. A 40 year old Favre put them in the NFC Championship game, while Tavaris couldn't average close to 200 yards per game through the air. I would kick the tires on this. Get one of these QBs in the 2nd or 3rd. I like Manuel in the 3rd. Then if you are in a position to grab a guy next year you are free to do so. Worst case either Manuel or Campbell work out.
  17. The most interesting FA is actually Jason Campbell. He was having a really good year in Oakland until he got hurt. Oakland bet the farm on Palmer and was forced to stick with him. He's the only FA I'd kick the tires on. Rather that and EJ Manuel in the 3rd then waste a first on Nassib.
  18. heard on the news the bills are interested...not sure what the asking price is. we are pretty far away from being good enough to waste a 1st on a guy for just a year. he would have to come with an extension an load it with incentives. if he plays like the best corner in the league pay the man, if not then his guarantee should be the average for a starting corner.
  19. this wont be the most most popular reply, but... if going out in public daily was a nuisance and impacted the upbringing of my kid then i would build a gigantic house for me and my family as well to minimize that. put everything in there.
  20. 18-1 is my favorite number
  21. hahahaha that is all
  22. after watching the practices. i have come to like tyler wilson and ej manuel. i dont hate nassib as much, but nothing is done at game speed yet. glennon excites and scares me. i was a big landry jones supporter, but he is quickly hurting himself here this week.
  23. its weird it seems as though, everybody at espn is willing to accept this at face value, to an odd level. nobody is willing to question this over there. i highly suspect that ND is involved in this cover up one way or another and knows the truth whether it be sexual orientation or for personal gain.
  24. I wouldn't touch Teo at all, especially after watching that bull---- interview with Couric the other day. Now this Tuiasosopo is making his attorney look stupid. There is a huge piece missing here in this story, and Teo is involved much more than he keeps claiming. There is clearly a coverup
  25. my perfect draft 1st-Eric Fisher OT Central Michigan- kid is a stud. Glenn can move to guard or even RT. Shoring up the OL 2nd-DesmondTrufant CB Washington - His stock is rising but previously given a low first high second round grade. Most likely won't be there 3rd- EJ Manuel QB Florida State- His readiness should have him drafted here, he is polarizing for some. this would allow us to grab another QB in the first next year if we see fit while grabbing a guy with tremendous upside. I know we wouldn't address LB until round 4, but this draft would be stellar for this football team. We need a CB so expect one in the first two rounds. Can't pass up a blue chip OT when they are there. This OL is a bit over rated, we need the help badly
