  1. I wouldn't touch Teo at all, especially after watching that bull---- interview with Couric the other day. Now this Tuiasosopo is making his attorney look stupid. There is a huge piece missing here in this story, and Teo is involved much more than he keeps claiming. There is clearly a coverup
  2. my perfect draft 1st-Eric Fisher OT Central Michigan- kid is a stud. Glenn can move to guard or even RT. Shoring up the OL 2nd-DesmondTrufant CB Washington - His stock is rising but previously given a low first high second round grade. Most likely won't be there 3rd- EJ Manuel QB Florida State- His readiness should have him drafted here, he is polarizing for some. this would allow us to grab another QB in the first next year if we see fit while grabbing a guy with tremendous upside. I know we wouldn't address LB until round 4, but this draft would be stellar for this football team. We need a CB so expect one in the first two rounds. Can't pass up a blue chip OT when they are there. This OL is a bit over rated, we need the help badly
  3. I've said it before. These lawsuit will hurt the integrity of the NFL and the sport in general. Depending on their outcome, I wouldn't be surprised to see football fail the test of time. It will start with the pop Warner teams. Insurance companies won't insure leagues with football. That will move to High schools. Essentially ruining the feeder programs. Your D3 and low end or state school D1 programs won't be able to carry insurance and the NFL will fall. It may take 100 years but if these suits are successful, this will be the result.
  4. A couple of good d line men. Fischer and Quennsberry(?) seem to be cream of the crop for o line. I wouldn't mind grabbing Fischer in the first. A little but of both. He misfired on a 5 yard route by 10 yards.
  5. I am watching today Trufant and Poyer look like solid physical DB's. I'm impressed with the WR out of Syracuse,Lemon. Physical, nice size, and good hands. Pretty underwhelmed by the QB play so far. Nassib had an ugly pick on a button hook. Nowhere near his WR. His timing seems to be poor
  6. What about the story about how they met. 3 years and no Skype? Him speaking with her family? What hoax spends hours per day on the phone? The trip to Hawaii? The teammates saying he is a very good liar? The school chaplain who said he had met her? The dad says she came to Hawaii? If this was a hoax why did friends and family push more misinformation? It all makes sense as a hoax if you are willing forget large portions of information.
  7. Nassib seems to have tons of arm strength he just doesn't seem to read defenses or have abything better then average accuracy. Purely a single read system. Decent mobility, seems to flea the pocket a lot and poor mechanics. I see a poor mans Losman. Less physical gifts, but a similar skill set, slightly less
  8. I ment we will grab 1 cb in the first two rounds not 2 cb's. and yes Landry Jones has only hurt his draft stock by staying in school the past few years. The fact of the matter is he is by far the most pro ready, faced the best competition, and is the safest bet of the group. The rest of these guys in this class are first read and bail QB's. I'm not claiming Jones to be the messiah of the franchise, he is just the most pure passer of the group. I'm ok with not taking any qb this year and betting the farm for one next year. There is also nothing wrong with having more than one competent QB on the roster.
  9. For the sake of ammetuerism and the NCAA, they should ban students from doing interviews with the media. The less we idolize these teenagers and young men the less we see these blatant NCAA violations. It would keep the sports about the teams and not the individuals. Big programs would not be perceived as profiting from individuals. Teams would get credit not athletes, this Teo situation never happens.
  10. Worst nightmare. We would set the franchise back 5 years with this Also get ready for a cb in the first 2 rounds.
  11. Landry Jones in the 2nd please. In the video I have seen, he is the only qb making multiple reads, regularly looking off db's, and pump faking. The rest of the QB's in the draft are first read or run all day. Jones is the safest bet of them all. He is the most accurate of them all regardless of numbers, quick release, nice footwork, and an arm to make all of the throws. My pick all day
  12. I just can't get behind the idea of him being duped. To do that you have to say his dad was lying, what about the meeting at Stanford? Going to Hawaii? Over this 3 years he never Skypes this person? College kids are the largest users of technology, and he failed to use any of it to see this girl. He said he spoke with her family...how? There is a very large missing piece here.
  13. Whelp I bet this changes now I'd rather him get a DUI then be some sort of sociopath liar. Kids make mistakes and can over come them. This is a very serious character issue. I wouldn't hire him to work at the sprint kiosk at at galleria mall let alone ask him to lead an NFL defense
  14. the only way this becomes remotely ok is if he turns out to be gay, and this is a cover up for a boyfriend. coming from a mormon family, playing a sport that is vehemetly anti-gay. anything else is makes this guy a liar and a sociopath. if there is anybody on the coaching staff or in the AD that knows about this, there should be an NCAA sanction
  15. take teo in the 1st and landry jones in the second please
  16. Not even gonna read the first post and I didn't listen. It went something like this. Grab 3 QB's in the draft. This franchise has taken advantage of us. Buddy Nix should be fired. Russ is already failing. Who is Doug Marrone, why isnt Lovie the DC. Trade the team for somebody else I have heard of.I hope the team moves. Some ball tickling of Jerry Sullivan. They moved on from Bills news to hockey that will sound something like this. Can't wait for hockey, where ill watch the first period and nothing else, then blame my lack of being able to provide meaningful insight on Terry Pegula, Ted Black, Darcy Regier, and/or Lindy Ruff.
  17. If the staff does like Nassib his realistic abilities put him in the 3rd or 4th. Grab him there pick up Flynn and even take a stab at Moore. Just load up the position
  18. He to me is just Poz 2.0. High motor guy who will be a good starter in the league with a long career but nothing that really jumps at you
  19. Leodis never or rarely blows coverage. He just can't defend the ball well. He is always right on his receivers hip. He is the perfect example of a good pass rush helping him out. He'll be became our number two. If the qb has the time to place the ball where he wants throw towards Mckelvin all day. But if the qb needs to throw on the run or off a back foot Mckelvin has the coverage perfect, i catchable ball
  20. i have been thinking about aaron rodgers lately and his percieved talent level. hes obviously a great qb, but is not currently in the manning or brady class. i just look at the way his team is built there in comparison to the way these indy or ne teams have been built. he has arguably more talent on both sides of the ball then some of brady or mannings teams. a better coach then peyton ever saw, and always falls a little short. he is the third best quarterback in the game easy, but he is not yet to the level of either of those 2. switch rodgers to denver or ne and gb wins more games per season. it just seems the intellect that brady and manning bring week in and week out is superior. both are their own oc at this point, rodgers not so much
  21. Giddy up Our hc is also their former OL coach. Something to note. Now that I think about it I think there is some familiarity there against Brady and co which is nice.
  22. we should take a qb next year and trade the entire draft to get one of the top three qb's in next years class. i couldnt be more underwhelmed by every qb in this draft.
  23. the guy is a future HOFer. If he becomes available for a reasonable price, there are no younger or cheaper options out there. this is just buffalo/ne haterade
  24. wasn't there a chest bumping of the ref late in his career that got him tossed from a game. i don't think it's important in HOF voting, but a lot of little things add up. id be pumped if he gets in
  25. http://www.pro-footb.../R/ReedAn00.htm are his stats elite? granted he was a huge contributor on a very good team. on paper nothing is really incredible other than durability. i will back the andre over curtis martin last year idea.
