Whelp I bet this changes now I'd rather him get a DUI then be some sort of sociopath liar. Kids make mistakes and can over come them. This is a very serious character issue. I wouldn't hire him to work at the sprint kiosk at at galleria mall let alone ask him to lead an NFL defense

Deadspin: Manti Te’o’s Dead Girlfriend Is A Hoax
Mango replied to Punch's topic in Off the Wall Archives
the only way this becomes remotely ok is if he turns out to be gay, and this is a cover up for a boyfriend. coming from a mormon family, playing a sport that is vehemetly anti-gay. anything else is makes this guy a liar and a sociopath. if there is anybody on the coaching staff or in the AD that knows about this, there should be an NCAA sanction -
take teo in the 1st and landry jones in the second please

WGR 550 talking about when to draft a QB
Mango replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not even gonna read the first post and I didn't listen. It went something like this. Grab 3 QB's in the draft. This franchise has taken advantage of us. Buddy Nix should be fired. Russ is already failing. Who is Doug Marrone, why isnt Lovie the DC. Trade the team for somebody else I have heard of.I hope the team moves. Some ball tickling of Jerry Sullivan. They moved on from Bills news to hockey that will sound something like this. Can't wait for hockey, where ill watch the first period and nothing else, then blame my lack of being able to provide meaningful insight on Terry Pegula, Ted Black, Darcy Regier, and/or Lindy Ruff. -
He to me is just Poz 2.0. High motor guy who will be a good starter in the league with a long career but nothing that really jumps at you
-
Leodis never or rarely blows coverage. He just can't defend the ball well. He is always right on his receivers hip. He is the perfect example of a good pass rush helping him out. He'll be became our number two. If the qb has the time to place the ball where he wants throw towards Mckelvin all day. But if the qb needs to throw on the run or off a back foot Mckelvin has the coverage perfect, i catchable ball

i have been thinking about aaron rodgers lately and his percieved talent level. hes obviously a great qb, but is not currently in the manning or brady class. i just look at the way his team is built there in comparison to the way these indy or ne teams have been built. he has arguably more talent on both sides of the ball then some of brady or mannings teams. a better coach then peyton ever saw, and always falls a little short. he is the third best quarterback in the game easy, but he is not yet to the level of either of those 2. switch rodgers to denver or ne and gb wins more games per season. it just seems the intellect that brady and manning bring week in and week out is superior. both are their own oc at this point, rodgers not so much

Bills Sign DL coach (Anthony Weaver) (From Jets)
Mango replied to buffalo1983's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Giddy up Our hc is also their former OL coach. Something to note. Now that I think about it I think there is some familiarity there against Brady and co which is nice. -
WGR 550 talking about when to draft a QB
Mango replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we should take a qb next year and trade the entire draft to get one of the top three qb's in next years class. i couldnt be more underwhelmed by every qb in this draft. -
So Wes Welker is set to become a free agent...
Mango replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the guy is a future HOFer. If he becomes available for a reasonable price, there are no younger or cheaper options out there. this is just buffalo/ne haterade -
2013 HOF Finalists; Update - Andre Reed did not make it
Mango replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
wasn't there a chest bumping of the ref late in his career that got him tossed from a game. i don't think it's important in HOF voting, but a lot of little things add up. id be pumped if he gets in -
2013 HOF Finalists; Update - Andre Reed did not make it
Mango replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
http://www.pro-footb.../R/ReedAn00.htm are his stats elite? granted he was a huge contributor on a very good team. on paper nothing is really incredible other than durability. i will back the andre over curtis martin last year idea. -

Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
Mango replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If this coaching staff sees something in Nassib I am ok with drafting him if he is there in the 3rd. No earlier. I would actually like Glennon or Barkley in the 1st AND Nassib in the 3rd. A little insurance policy I actually wouldn't be surprised if a team waaaaay over reaches for Nassib or his stock plummets after the fan fare of the pinstripe bowl dies down. -
Bills hire Mike Pettine for Defensive Coordinator

Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
Mango replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will say that coachability can go a long way. This is alot different than work ethic or toughness. I don't know what Nassib looked like as a freshman or year to year. If his improvement grade is significant year to year at Syracuse, there is no reason to think he cannot make the improvements to become a viable pro QB. I will say based on his current talent level, he seems to be not that great, and need of a lot of developement. -
Bills hire Nathaniel Hackett for Offensive Coordinator
Mango replied to cmjoyce113's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let me preface this with the fact that I do like the marrone hire. the more I read and hear, the more qualified he becomes. This is clearly not the same Buffalo FO. That alone is quite refreshing. When I got the ESPN alert that Marrone was more or less hired I was shocked, but restrained oppinion until I became knowledgable on the guy. Turns out the top minds and pundints in the NFL are thrilled with the hire for the Bills. We hired a guy on his upward trajectory for the first time in a very long time. with that I keep trying to find reasons to get behind Hacket the same way I did with Marrone (truly excited). The best I can muster in emotion is tolerant after doing my research. Add that to the trust I have given to Marrone considering his hires at DC. I hope it goes well, just a little tolerant. This will be a boom or bust decision I think -
Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
Mango replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
third is a little generous, especially when you consider the type of player we can grab there. i thought id be ok with a 4th rounder for the kid. i could live with a third. I just think we can find a guy that can add depth at cb,lb,te,ol,rb at that point in the draft. a guy that will stay on the team a bit longer. a guy who sucks less. nassib does have quite the quick release and seems like a cannon for an arm. his accuracy is average at best. even that first pass in that rutgers video he almost gets his wide open wr slaughtered. in the nfl that wr dies from a db who is 2 steps faster than that rutgers kid. im not a fan. wouldnt be furious with him in the 3rd. we are in serious trouble taking him in the first. i would rather another cb or rb...seriously. if we reach for any position in the draft it should be a lb or any other qb -
Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
Mango replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see a pretty good college qb working in a single read system. A guy with poor pocket presence and average accuracy. The kids only up side is arm strength and he seems tough as nails I couldn't disagree with you more. If the bills take him(which I hope they dont). I expect him to not only not be a backup but to be out of the league in a short period of time. -
Dr Andrews/Mike Shanahan at odds over RGIII injury
Mango replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
kid was clearly hobbled. i was on the hate Shanahan bandwagon, and still am to a certain extent. the kid was clearly messed up early in that game, mike should have seen that. the word from Dr Anderson today are a little startling. speaking from my own experience on the USA National Team and suffering a poorly managed injury. Athletes always want to hear that they can play. When your coach is a future HOFer, who you watched as a kid, you give him all of your trust (just like my coach) and he tells you everything will be ok, then you do it. Shanahan clearly breached this trust, and it will change their relationship forever. Shanahan knows players want to play, all the time, pain or not. It is his job to temper players and manage them. He didn't. RG3 wont be the same for the Redskins for both physical and psychological reasons. -
cant help but root for ray lewis in his last go at it. it would be nice to see him destroy tom brady in the afc championship. dude played out of his mind the other day
