but then he won't be JR in Ann Arbor I don't want him to change it. As a guy who doesn't post that often but reads everyday, JR is everywhere, and I read and respect his posts regularly. He can't just become JR in Pittsburgh. Stay strong buddy Also at Jerome Bettis's(?) place the men's urinal is behind a one way mirror, that is behind the hostess stand. So while you watch people get seated, your junk is in your hand and you are looking right at them, which is kind of surreal.

So you're not in Ann Arbor

MMD 2013 Draft threads - Hold on to your socks
Mango replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read some stuff elsewhere about swapping with Tampa. I think that came from a Freeman thread, but not sure if that is viable without the trade. IF for some reason Tampa wanted to move up, for say Milliner, trade down with them for 2 2nds. Then if we could move down again with the Falcons for 2 1sts and 2 2nds. I would be all for it....I think? It is a tough spot because in theory by trading down you lose talent, and boy do we need talent. Also not for trading Byrd, as long as he is willing to sign an extension -
Solid vets like Mario Williams

Nassib doesn't increase ticket sales GARAUNTEED, not to mention he would be there at 41
-
i have been thinking this way as well. wilson's toughness is tremendous, and it is hard to ignore the arm from glennon, epecially seeing a similar sized qb in flacco get the job done over the years. part of me is affraid to pick a qb at 8 because this team has been so bad that missing there would set us back once again

Have you ever worn Bills gear to an away game?
Mango replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
wore my sabres jersey to MSG. that was a little nuts. you get guys literally shouting and swearing 2 inches from your face -
It all depends on whether he is willing to extend his contract. If he wants to play for a contender and is fed up with Buffalo, get some value. If he is willing to stay we would be stupid to not keep him If Byrd entered the draft this year he would be a top 5 or 10 pick. The bills would have to get that value in return. Easily a 1st and 2nd. How often to teams ever get a chance at a top player like Byrd off their first contract. Almost never.

that's the point. i think hackett and marrone where able to put together a good ncaa offense, with an unremarkable quarterback. coaching to hide flaws and exaggerate strengths.

Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse

Everybody on the show gets praised by Gruden, again, if they weren't nobody would go near the studio before the draft. -
Tampa all day

until the 'nascar package' which seems to be a super hurry up single read option package, nassib is pretty unremarkable. this is good news for buffalo because we have an offensive coordinator who can scheme and take the pressure of the qb in reading defenses and putting the ball on point. our offense could develop some nice rhythm. the bad news is nassib is a product of the system

i came back to this board thinking this was still a nassib thread...guess not he looked terrible on gruden. sounded a little slow, lacked understanding. it's tough to look bad on that show considering gruden just lobs questions to these guys. in gruden's defense, he can't be critical or nobody would come back. manuel sounded like a stud for what it is worth. -
Official Bills Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts
Mango replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what do they really have to tall about anyways? they have already gone over literally every game day decision he has ever made -
i think that is exactly the issue. what information? you have years worth of game tape on a ton of these guys, what else do you need to know? i understand the ability to read defenses and understand offense, and those are important, but a lot of that will come across on film as well as ability in game day situations

The whole QB situation with the Bills is a bit sloppy, and every year guys fly way up big boards because of all the down time from filming to the draft. If I am the Bills I would be weary of any QB that makes significant leaps from the end of the college season to the draft. I understand and agree with the over valued position of QB by maybe a round, but beware of the Gabbert effect. It is just downtime, which leads to excuse making. If the draft happened 2 weeks after the Super Bowl we would see a much different draft. -Manuel was a 3rd round grade until the Senior Bowl. One game is not worth 2 rounds. -Nassib was a 3rd or a 4th round grade at seasons end. What happened between his last game and today that moves him into the bottom of the 1st or the top of the 2nd. Nothing! I like Manuel quite a bit, but his rise up the draft boards scares the ba-jesus out of me. Nassib is non-nonsensical. I think when it comes to any position stick to the film and season. How guys play not their measurements per say

Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse

Especially since he would be there in the 2nd. I think that once he falls out of the first his value drops because there are guys with higher upside. Kind of like a Weeden. I think teams (and myself) would rather take a shot on a guy in the 2nd or 3rd on a guy with a higher ceiling. I think a guy like Wilson, Bray, or Glennon is worth a day 2 shot because of their ceiling before Nassib. If Barkley is truly 5th on our big board just behind Nassib, I would guess the FO feels the same. In no particular order they most likely see Geno, Manuel, Glennon, and Wilson above Nassib. I would put Barkley ahead of him as well. People fail to realize that SU had one of the top 20 defenses in the country last year. SU Defense is way better than Usc's, which makes Barkleys result even better and Nassibs worse -
This is the smartest post about the issue so far. Also the most correct

This will Blow every bodies mind. OU is actually the University of Oklahoma. Also their state vegetable is the watermelon.

David Nelson, Donald Jones, Andy Levitre, and Chad Reinhart are nowhere near the caliber of player that you just mentioned. I'm not happy with this teams roster at all, but these aren't similar situations at all.

Montana was drafted in the third yes?

The best part is it would cost a 3rd to replace his production...if we are lucky

Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse

nobody is taking nassib at 8. get real. hell be there in the 3rd and possibly the 4th. some scouts rate this guy as not even being able to make it as a career backup -
i dont like the concept for all sorts of reasons. mostly because it redoes every pick regardless of what actually happened. ie in the redo dareus can't be picked at 13

Eugene Cyril "Geno" Smith III - QB - West Virginia

he has some issues when asked to repeat, communicate, or break down plays. my non-football watching girlfriend answered mooch's questions correctly and quicker than geno http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtTs06mfBag
