  1. Seriously. If be curious to see that data
  2. I am not sure what the knock on the behavioral issues with Alonso are. So the kid got a DUI at 19, mistakes happen, especially mistakes like these at 19. Then he slept in the wrong house drunk on the couch. Hell I have a very responsible, well to do, friend who graduated from Princeton, in an effort to not drive home, (from St. Catherine's) he slept in a strangers car by accident.
  3. your'e telling me also are we supposed to wear bills gear to this thing on sunday...im game
  4. he is super easy to like and root for. hopefully the hero this town deserves
  5. The team that took him, has no need for a QB, won't in the near future. They most likely don't care if he is on the roster in 3 years. Nassib went right where his Pre-Marrone hire had him 4th round, possibly a quality back up
  6. i always find the sirius guys pretty fair, unbiased, and generally come with more experience/intel then the talking heads on most generic sports websites and tv coverage
  7. So surprised he was an UDFA
  8. Sadly Parish spent most of his time with Dick J. He was productive his first year under Gailey, he just couldn't stay healthy at that point in his career
  9. it's clear in this city full of "haters" we where ready to run any pick in the first if a QB out of this town in 5 years
  10. the scouting reports i read before Marrone was hired was Nassib MIGHT have the ability to be a quality back up. 3rd round if he is luck 4th round talent. Pat Kirwan, former GM doesn't think Nassib will last as a backup. Then suddenly, Marrone is named HC of the Bills a QB needy team. When asked about Nassib by the media, he spoke positively of him...then suddenly Nassib is projected as a possibility at 8, then he becomes maybe the 2nd best QB on the board, because one team might take him there. Not defending the pick (although Manuel's upside is really exciting), but to stay that the Marrone hire didn't increase Nassib's stock immensely amongst the talking heads would be incorrect.
  11. Other than the TJ graham pick. What other picks where real head scratchers for you?
  12. Tebow had lots of signature wins
  13. He will be polarizing for the first few years. Boom or busy pick. He has some learning to do, but I am excited and cautiously optimistic.
  14. I went back a few more years and he is almost right on with positional selection
  15. In the pat 5 years or so, Brown has picked right 1.5 times. Last year he had us take Glenn in the first, that's the .5, and Dareus was an easy guess at 3. To be fair other than Maybin, he had the player we took off the board before our pick. Not sure what that is worth
  16. If every team thinks about waiting until next year, then the pool of team needing a QB doubles, making it tougher for mid range teams who need one, like the Bills . It may be almost unaffordable to grab one next year
  17. It comes down to the ability to insure youth programs at a reasonable rate. If the NFL loses this suit of previous knowledge, the sport becomes impossible to ensure at most scholastic and public levels. This will then effect, overtime, the ability for colleges to afford it, as most don't make a profit off of it. The issue will never be popularity, it will be the ability to financially prepare for catastrophe at the sports most average levels.
  18. I don't think superstar was ever used, and he was referring to the fact that every year produces about 2 good ones. This year is difficult to select which 2 those are.
  19. I think if the QB's last past the Jets, the. You will see a run on the bottom of the first or rush to the top of the second, seeing all of us QB needy teams to take one there.
  20. And 6th round picks are generally long time reliable NFL players. More often than not 6th round picks don't make a roster. He'll even 5th rounders don't make or stay on rosters for more than a year
  21. the issue with the NFL will be insuring the primary access to the sport. depending on how these law suits go, insurance companies will charge such a premium, or refuse to insure schools that carry a football team. this will eventually spill over to the low to mid major football programs who don't create revenue for their school, which is a majority of them. it will be diminishing the pool of athletes entering the sport that will (if ever) be the demise of the nfl. i think it is probable, considering the way this suit is going. pop warner will be the first to go in townships, then middle school, then highschool
