  1. Stevie had the worst game as a whole I have eve seen him play. He was our biggest drive killer. Coaching improvements where good in the first half, eh in the second half. I thought Manuel played his best game today by far The stat line is hidden by some key Stevie mistakes, Woods drops, and a Lee Smith trip. Can't excuse that fumble
  2. scheming/coaching. we arent getting out worked, we are getting out smarted
  3. It doesn't matter what package the team was running when Brooks got hurt, Mckelvin moved over and Brooks moved to Mckelvins position. Rogers replaced Brooks, then Mckelvin. Rogers was our 4th corner. We are missing our top 3.
  4. I don't mean to start this, but it is Whaley who let the depth walk on this oline. The d line rotation is fine.
  5. I'm sorry, but that 4th and 10 play call is horrible. 2 go's and an in route? No confusion in alignment. Joe b calling Stevie, a relatively slow Wr, open with the safety in his pocket is a joke. To me the article and the photos showed exactly what cbs showed. Manuel is going to miss reads and receivers, but this is literally pop Warner play calling. Seriously I ran this play in pop warner.
  6. Why not spread the field out and take some pressure off the middle of the field? Then CJ can run it up the middle. Please Hackett just watch one game film from last year. Just ignore every time brad smith is behind center
  7. Gannon pointed out a bunch of times that nobody is getting open. It looked like we just keep running for hook routes or 3 and a go route. The jets beat us by playing man, period. They did a bit of confusion at the line stacking everybody, but they made it simple, for their own players, cover your guy. We did nothing to confuse the D, no routes to beat the coverage. I don't give Manuel a free pass because he missed a lot of opportunities, I blame him for the misfires. I think out WR where not good. Gannon was pretty unhappy about they way they ran all their sideline routes. All signs seem to point to coaching.
  8. I don't like the bs in giving an OC a pass because he is a rookie. Athletes progress, they age, and they mature. Hiring somebody to run your offense who is not yet prepared for the job is a lot different than a 22 year old out of college. I will curb my judgement until later, but Marrone will sink or swim on this hire. Right now it doesn't look good. I think we will be yet another franchise that looks back and wishes we kept Chan around. Last years offensive scheming with this years defense would be 2-1 if not 3-0. Nobody can watch these last 3 games and difinitively say we have upgraded the coaching staff as a whole. Marrone seems to be decent at overseeing things, but this offense is destroying this team.
  9. The left side of the line got worked today. Brown is not an excuse for a total lack of production from Spiller. We almost exclusively run away from Brown. Spiller losing 5 instead of gaining 2 is all on him not this OL. Those guys aren't helping CJ, but he is making them look twice as bad. Scheming is an issue. Chan was great at scheming Spiller into space. I am going to say it. Flame away if you will, not trolling. This roster with Pettine at DC and Chan at the helm with the offense would be in a much better place. We seriously miss his scheming. EJ with some of those timing routes in the spread with his arm, plus Spiller in space would be nuts
  10. Not to derail the thread, but didn't the article say most teams where running behind their left Gaurd which would be KW
  11. Seahawks. I can be on with that. I feel like people from Buffalo like facial hair. Not sure why it eliminates Bills fans....you know if you want to look at this seriously and objectively
  12. They have two firsts now. There is the possibility of this being a great move for them for the future. They may get Clowney and a Franchise QB, depending on the Colts finish. Low 20's or high teens is my guess. Then they can grab a top WR in the top of the second. But it's the Browns, so it will go poorly.
  13. Hell. Give me a badge and sign me up. Ill go to all 8 home games and keep a look out for a holes. Even having to wear a Phins shirt would be well worth seeing my team for free
  14. The issue with the run is that we are over pursuing. QB first RB second
  15. He threw a bunch of huge blocks on some of the big running plays
  16. Grand Marnier? Shotty Cognac? Scotch all day brother.
  17. Pettine for HC before he goes elsewhere and makes us pay...Sexy Rexy replacement?
  18. i actually really liked that SJ13 took the knee. No flash, no show. He seemed truly happy with the win, himself, and his team. Cant wait for the pressers
  19. its not awful coaching by marrone there are some things that are better about this team this year. the same we blame marrone for hackett, we need to give him credit for pettine. that said, i would rather see the same style play on defense on offense. harbaugh-esk. i hope we dont see him leave after a season. id like to see him as hc---by no means am i calling for marrones head
  20. also have to let your qb get into a rhythm so he can make those passes. things where better in the 2nd quarter with letting EJ lose a little bit. also effing spread the field at least every once in a while
  21. we have so much speed on the field, but you cant do a thing with it without getting it in space. close quarters does nothing
  22. I hate our offense. I am ok with the no huddle, but we need to be spreading the field a little more. it opens up so many passing and running lanes. we also need to let manuel get into a groove rather than run run run run go route cross your fingers. not only cant he get into a rhythm but these are low percentage throws. not sure if this is hackett or marrone
  23. There are 2 spots where the pats could get on a 2-4 game skid. Granted they almost never lose 2 in a row. They could easily drop Atlanta, Cinci, and NO all in a row. Also Steelers, Panthers, Broncos, Texans is a possibility. Steelers and Panthers should be close games. We will need them to slide through one of these two sections to have any chance at all.
  24. Lets look at the rest of their schedule. Not many definite losses with Brady behind center, but there are some definite wins I think, plus a bunch of toss ups. My guess as of now. Right now I think you can book about 6 more wins more or less in the bag giving them most likely at least 8 for the season. The get 3 games I think are a toss up and the division will rely on those IMHO. That and the Bills game at the end of the year. I marked it as a loss, but it depends on our momentum Tampa W @ATL L @Cinci Toss up Saints L @Jets W Fins W Steelers Toss UP @Panthers Toss UP Broncos L @Texans L Browns W @Fins W @Ravens L Bills W
