  1. That’s fair. I may have taken it too far. I’ll step back.
  2. What is the proper internet message board response for a guy who threatens to miss his first Bills game since before the drought because he won’t pay $6 for a subscription, only to have it turn out that he likely has not 1 but 2 subscriptions for the product. A product that by the way, he’ll likely be showing for a profit at not one, but two different bar/restaurants. And what I’m really curious about now is, does this guy have a Peacock Sports Pass (for business) or is he just using the standard consumer version?Based on a total lack of self awareness I’d be willing to put a good amount of cash on he’s using a single consumer license at both establishments. When you lay it all out it’s hard to believe that this is even true. I’m not sure this guys even a real person.
  3. I’ve tagged him a few times. As the thread picks up steam it’s clear a lot of people are jumping in without checking. Waiting for the OP to log back in and delete the thread out of embarrassment. Hopefully he can provide us with a tagline so this thread can live in TBD infamy. It has a real “high level business meeting” vibe to it.
  4. Process, culture, or whatever
  5. Just a reminder to all the responses with “thoughts and prayers” that OP already has a Peacock subscription. He owns two restaurants, one of them a Bills Backer Bar. Not only can he watch the game, he will, and he’ll likely make a profit off of it. But OP also cannot figure out how to log in at home either. Sooo…there’s that. If we want to have a discussion about streaming that’s cool. But OP is most definitely not operating in good faith here.
  6. Same for KC. Buffalo should think about making this happen just to keep him away. Maybe a strategically placed mat somewhere near Vons locker to make room on the roster.
  7. @Nineforty You give OP too much credit. This isn't a principle for him. He owns a Bills Backers Bar where he already pays for the subscription. He is literally already paying for the service he says he won't pay for.
  8. Found this visual on reddit. Thought it was super helpful. Big Cowboys, Steelers, Texans, and Bucs fan this week. If the Bills win the division I think there is a strong chance they come into the playoffs as the 2 seed. KC losing to the Bengals and Jacksonville losing to the Bucs make that a strong possibility.
  9. The guy owns a Bills Backers Bar and already pays for the Peacock service at his bar. He 1. doesn't want to go to work to watch it. and 2. didn't realize he could just use his log in credentials at home.
  10. Most of the complaints towards OP, at least from me, have nothing to do with Peacock. I pay for very little streaming and pirate lots of the games across a lot of sports. What I do have an issue with is this faux martyrdom, LAMP, woe is me, thread that is purely attention seeking, purposefully leaving out key pieces of information. The guy literally already pays for the service for the BIlls Backers Bar that he owns. He has access to the game if he 1. went to work. or 2. knew how to log into anything. I don't disagree with the idea that the NFL and streaming in general (sports or not) is a total racket. But the thread title isn't "This whole streaming thing sucks". The thread title is "This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL". The entire premise is a bed of lies.
  11. So 8 pages for this guy's faux martyrdom for a cause that doesn't actually exist. "I am going to miss my first Bills game since OJ Simpson because I refuse to pay the man" - Heavy Kevi "I already pay the man for this exact product to run my Buffalo Bills specific business, but I don't want to go to work that day. And also I don't know how technology works" - also Heavy Kevi What a joke.
  12. The Ravenwood in Clifton Park outside of Albany shuts down at half time for the late night games. They literally called last call while there was time on the clock in the 2nd quarter. My buddy plays hockey around the corner, so the plan was to meet after his game to watch the Bills. I was flabbergasted. They are a listed Bills Backers Bar. I won't go there again and I tell every Buffalo Bills fan I know about it. What a crock of shirt.
  13. The guy owns a Bills Backers Bar. Technically he should be getting the Peacock for Business, or whatever they are calling it. There isn't really much of a no harm, no foul in this instance. If he wanted to pirate it because "fork the man!", then go for it. No issues. But to come on here as some weird martyr where he is going to miss the first Bills game since the birth of Christ because....moral...or whatever...is silly. Also he isn't going to do any of that. He owns a Bills Backers Bar. He isn't going to close down for the Bills game. It is all for show.
  14. You own a Bills sports bar. For somebody trying to take the moral high ground you were going to try and yoink a consumer product for free to use for your business. Listen man, I pirate all sorts of stuff. I am not above it. But this bit of whining about the cost is hilariously disjointed.
  15. Megatron was an absolute stud. But there is a reason I said Moss was the most talented WR ever and not the best WR ever. Other guys have gotten close to Moss or surpassed him based on consistent working as close as possible to their ceiling. But I don't think there was a better WR in the history of the sport than try hard Randy Moss.
  16. Combine stuff is neatly on stathead now. PFR keeps moving stuff to their paid data. But it’s fairly cheap. https://stathead.com/football/player-season-finder.cgi?request=1&positions[]=wr&height_min=75 If you want to get real freaky you can just Vlookup and narrow it down with a second query by games, yards, TD’s etc. https://stathead.com/sharing/IEHp4
  17. Once it’s in excel you should be able to filter.
  18. Pull a CSV file from pro football reference.
  19. Randy Moss is the most talented WR to ever play the position. End thread.
  20. A couple of Lebron references in this thread. I think there’s a huge difference between the two. I think Lebron believes he’s been literally attacked 90% of the time he flops on the basketball court and legitimately deserves 35 free throws after every sneeze. Whereas I think Allen knows there’s a bit of showmanship that goes into calls. He knows a tiny shove or face mask bump isn’t a flag on its own. But if he sends himself flying we get 15 yards and a first. I don’t think Allen’s flops are all that different from his trash talking. There’s something childlike about it. I laugh at it all the time.
  21. That’s by far the biggest and maybe only plus from games on fox.
  22. To transition to the first commercial break they played “Happy Hour Hero” by moe. I knew then that the script was written, and it was a Buffalo win for sure. For those of you who are uncultured, moe. is a popular in the jam band scene. They formed while in undergrad at UB. They always rep Buffalo well on the road.
  23. Weirdly enough I find myself both disliking Cowherd and liking him at the same time. I enjoy listening now and again. I think he is a reasonable dude. But his takes have a tendency to be super dumb too
  24. The Jets face mask bump always makes me laugh. Every. Single. Time.
  25. The Chargers are the Sabres of the NFL.
